Food portion was mid and so was flavor. You'll get better value buying the meat separately.

Asada is crazy!! Def get the cheese balls too. A satisfying meal with beans, cucumber and tomato salad, plenty of rice and meats. The sauce has a little kick too which adds so much flavor to the meal. Take-out only, but still fresh and delicious!

    ACA Plate combo 2

I've been wanting to try this place forever. Placed an order over the phone and it was ready for pick up in 20 min I ordered the ACA plate combo 2, which comes with more meat, dozen cheese balls, and an empanada. Total came out to $33. Understandably, with inflation, prices are a bit higher but this easily fed 2 people. The combo plate comes with slices of asado, sausage, and pork belly over a bed of yellow rice and sides of black beans and tomatoes and corn. A side of chimichurri comes with that goes really well with the meats. The cheese balls had a nice cheesy taste with a texture similar to pao de queijo. I like to cut it in half and put a slice of sausage so it's like a mini slider. The beef empanada was really good, well seasoned, and stuffed well. My only wish is that it was bigger. The parking lot is small and shares with other businesses so I can see it being a slight problem during peak hours, so call in for pick up. Service was really nice and friendly. Support your local mom and pop businesses!

    Yumdddd

Yummy they cook their meat perfectly ! My bf and I got the combo 2 with all asado they're chimichuri is on the spot ! It's very acidic and flavorful ! We got another salad on the side and their sauce is on spot too I love their sauces everything was just so yummy and definitely don't forget the cheese balls perfect with the meal will be coming back !!! it's togo order only nice meal to eat at home !

    #1 with cheese balls

One my of favorite restaurants in k-town! I have been going here for years. I never get sick of this place. There is a small parking lot that it shares with other restaurants. Since covid, they only do togo orders. I usually order in advance over the phone as sometimes it can get busy. I always order #1 which comes with 3 types of meat of asada, pork belly, sausage and rice, beans, and salad. I think the portion can be a little small for guys as my portion is pretty big for my size and the meat portion is usually not enough for me. There is an option for bigger size if you pay more. The plate comes with a chimichurri sauce and I usually add hot sauce which is a little extra. Definitely not a fancy place but their foods are really really good and I never get sick of it.

    Just the Asado please.

Asado is the key to my heart - one of the top Argentinian cuts of beef short ribs - deliciously layered with a little fat on both sides, just enough to take you into umami paradise. The meat is good. It will leave you wishing for more, no matter how much is on your plate. I wish they would have included Chimichurri but this is replaced with a vinegar-like, clear hot sauce. Clearly, the Asado is the star of the show and sadly, everything else is just kinda, you know, back up. The rice fails. It felt a bit dry and although I couldn't taste it, my wife stated that there was a "crayon" aftertaste. Her palette is very sensitive so I believe her. I just thought it was really dry. The black beans were sad. I just really wish a bit of TLC was given in prep and execution. Seriously, I don't think it would be too difficult for black beans to taste good. It just needed more oomph. The rice and beans, which is an important pairing for this type of cuisine, both failed like a mismatched pair of ice skaters vying for gold at the Olympics. They include a salad that just makes you want to cry. A small bed of canned corn, two slices of cucumber, and small cubes of tomato. The meat was good but personally for me, side dishes are just as important. Fix this aspect of the dish and you have a winner.

Can't really call this asado.... It's kinda over priced and the service was very slow in pick up.

Love their combo menu. You have to order the phone before you get the restaurant. Sometimes the parking is hard.

It's not a restaurant you're going to go to all the time but rather for a special occasion. It's on the pricier side, so with drinks and dessert, it adds up. They have a covered patio and it's important to know you have to enter from the back alley and ring the bell. Service was exceptional, always checking on you with the owners being present as well. There is more of a serious vibe in the room, not somewhere I would take children. The menu consists primarily of meat but they also have chicken and pasta as well. Everything is ala cart so getting some sides is a must. I would recommend the mashed potatoes, mushrooms were ok, needed a little bit more flavor. For dessert the crepes were probably the best, the dolce de leche filling was perfect with a burnt caramelization on top.

The steak and lamb chops were cooked to perfection--tender, flavorful, and truly unforgettable. We also enjoyed the calamari and a beautifully prepared fennel salad, both fresh, refined, and perfectly balanced. To conclude the evening, we indulged in the panquecas con dulce de leche, which were simply divine and the perfect sweet finale. The service was impeccable, attentive without being intrusive, and the ambience was elegant, sophisticated, and welcoming. Every detail contributed to a truly memorable evening. Without a doubt, a 10 out of 10 experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking exceptional cuisine, outstanding service, and a refined dining atmosphere.

The patio outside is good if the tango loop inside is too loud, but then you're just trading that for unmuffled mufflers and exhaust fumes. At 5:00 PM it's just you and the Chorizo Sampler which is worth it's weight in Statins. The place reinvents itself by 8:00 PM when the chatter ratchets up and the dining room becomes a B. A. The Bar: This long counter anchors the room and delivers what ever your poison might be. The Food: Malbec boasts a huge menu and all of it is good to great. Within minutes of settling in a Runner runs up to your table and sets down a basket of warm Bread with a cup of Chimichurri Sauce to dunk dip, drag and/on dredge your Bread in. The Malbec Salad was large enough to feed everyone in the Recoleta at sundown. Fresh Romaine, Radicchio, Goat Cheese crumbles, a hand carved Avocado fan (I'm a big fan of that), quartered Cucumber Coins, Frisee Lettuce, a sizable slice of toasted Bread, the large mound is mixed with a Caesar-ish Dressing and the whole pile is fresh, refreshing, tasty and a great dish to begin your dinner with. The menu is ambitious to say the least. Heroic lists of Appetizers, Pastas, Pizza, Mains, Seafood, Steaks, Sides, Sauces and Desserts. The Kitchen is fearless because they know they can crank out everything on the menu properly. And you know, they can. I opted for Pollo Las Hierbas (Herb Roasted Chicken), spatchcocked (back cone removed and the whole half Chicken squashed flat for quick and easy grilling). Did I mention that the portions are substantial? They are. The Chicken begins it's journey soaking in Lemon and Herbs. For an additional $2 you can bury the whole bird with Diabla Sauce. (read Spicy Chili Gravy). This Sauce would be delicious over julienned Gym Socks or Dust Bunnies. The welcome heat is delicious even if you're timid with spice. The Chicken arrives tender but with crisp edges, juicy and tasting like Chicken could and should taste. While the Chicken was definitely marinated it's hard to determine if it was brined first. No matter as it was spot on great. The Chicken Chef was not chicken and got it right. The Sauteed Spinach retained it's Spinach integrity and was fished out of the water while still slightly toothy. Excellent. The Kitchen elevated Spinach beyond Pop-Eye's power surge urge. This was beyond just a Side Dish. Vegans, have at it. The Roasted Potatoes were also good enough to enjoy as a Main. Really crunchy nuggets with creamy centers. This place not only offers fine comida de la gente, the restaurant is efficient but doesn't rush. Want to enjoy sobremesa?
