Well, this has been one h3ll of an experience. First, most of the customer service representatives are great. Some of them left me on hold for HOURS and then hung up on me without helping me. But for WEEKS, I have been trying to get my dad his medication and for hours with them on hold and transferring me because they don't handle my situation in that department. My situation was literally when can I get my dad his medicine?!? It had been PROCESSING since mid January and now it's mid February. I can't get ONE single answer from them. After I finally switched to Lumicera (Shoutout to Lumicera because they were able to help me out within 30 minutes and get my dad his medicine the NEXT DAY) But after switching pharmacies I finally get a call from Accredo telling me that ..... my dad's medicine is being PROCESSED !! Thanks for wasting my time Accredo and thanks for wasting your money to give people jobs where they don't do anything to help because this company probably has a really sh*tty process that their employees also have to go through. read more

I would rather shoot myself in the foot than use this shitty company but I have no option as they give you no options and make you go through them instead of letting the dr supply the medication. My doctors office sent the prescription through on November 1st and it took them almost 2 months to find, fix and provide it to the dr. They kept telling me it was pending and then when I called again they said they didn't have the prescription. Started the process all over again at the beginning of December and I ended up complaining to a manager to get the process completed in December and was told there would no charge. They didn't keep their word are running the prescription in January and trying to charge 389 dollars because they purposely held it up so I would have to pay. Company sucks!!! Giving them a 1 because ZERO STARS is not an option. read more

As of January this year, I have called many times to verify that my insurance has not changed. I reported that I applied for Medicare part B special enrollment period. It turns out I will not be eligible until April this year. Accredo informed me this week that I would receive a refill on 1/15, only to be told that "no they needed to verify my insurance" which would take 7-10 business days. I have 3 doses left. Granted this is not a lifesaving cancer medication, but life without this medication is definitely more difficult. There is no avenue to complain. read more

For a pre-approved script, tried to bill over the phone for over $4,000 and couldn't even tell what the script was for, where it had to be sent, how the medication needs to be injected by a doctor at the office (cannot ship to home), and they could not say or understand that this script if for a series of three injections. I have an expensive medication. Accredo has always delivered on time. They call about 2 weeks before your medication is scheduled to be refilled. There were issues with shipping on time a few times, but that usually occurred with insurance wanting more paperwork to be filled out by both the pharmacy and the doctor. Accredo took care of getting all the paperwork to the insurance company. read more

I agree 100% with this review. The same thing happen to me! I was lied to repeatly regarding the shipping of my medication.Don't use them if you don't have too. They notified me that my medicine would be delivered to me in three days (I have it set up for biweekly delivery), after 5 days I contacted them to let them know I haven't received my medication yet. It turns out there was a problem on their end processing my copay, so they stopped the delivery without notifying me. When I asked when it would be delivered (I was already a day past when I do my injection), they asked me if I would like to place the order. I placed the order and they said they would try to overnight it, since I told them I already missed the day I was due for the injection. Well, they didn't try very hard. I got a message today that they are processing my order and I can expect it in about 4 days. I will miss a whole week because they screwed up, didn't send my order, didn't notify me, then put the delivery on snail mail. Unfortunately there is nothing I can do about the middle man's control of my required medication. read more

Was removed from medication for a month due to a mix-up with their system of syringe and pen. They refused to fix it and required multiple daily calls to them and doctor's office to resolve. Just removed from medication again due to system error, they refused to fix before Jan 1 so now I am out several thousands of dollars as my insurance will not cover the medication until my deductible is met. They supposedly have a "Patient Rescue" system where cases like mine should have been escalated to be resolved. It never happened despite requests by several different departments within Accredo. It took 2wks for a singular point of contact was established for my case, which you cannot reach as their extension system does not work. One must call the general line, wait on hold, and explain the entire situation before being transferred. Although frustrating, it would have been easier if they had flagged or added to notes, who the point of contact was. Instead they will put on hold to find someone who track that person down. read more

THE ABSOLUTE WORST! They do not even deserve 1 star. By far, the worst pharmaceutical company I have ever dealt with. They make it so difficult to obtain your medically necessary prescriptions because the insurance company doesn't want to pay. You can order online and get a confirmation number but they never follow up or call you back because they "physically need to speak to you" before sending the prescription out. HORRIBLE, BOTTOM FEEDING COMPANY that will try to explain away their policies and tell you it's alright. It's not alright... not one single thing about is company is alright. In fairness, I have had no dealings with this particular branch of Accredo -- instead, I have dealt with call centers all over the place, for the last 7 weeks. I had to change insurance due to a change of job, and sadly my company only offers prescription insurance through ExpressScripts, who owns Accredo, their 'speciialty' division. I need IV therapy every six weeks for a chronic, life threatening condition. Seven weeks ago I spoke with a representative for ExpressScripts who told me that I had to switch from my previous specialty pharmacy to Accredo. I, of course, agreed to switch since the alternative was to pay full price for the meds and the procedure. The rep stated that he was forwarding my prescription to Accredo. I heard nothing back. A month ago, I called to verify that all was in process, and I was told they now did not have my prescriptions. During the last month, I have called Accredo at least 25 times. Each time there is either ANOTHER problem or a recurrence if an OLD problem that I had been told had been resolved. Three days ago, I was finally told that all was ready and my meds were being shipped overnight for an appointment I had today, only to be told 2 days ago that the shipment didn't go out because they didn't have a bag of saline solution to send. At their specialty pharmacy. No saline solution. And so they held the WHOLE order. I am already a week late for this necessary treatment, and the center only does these treatments on Thursdays, so I will wait another week and hope I don't end up in the hospital due to their inability to do their ONE job. I am calling Boards Of Pharmacy In the states where I know Accredo does business in order to file a formal complaint -- doubt that does anything but maybe I will at least feel I have done something. read more

this is by far the worst pharmaceutical company i have ever worked with. unfortunately, this is the only company that my insurance will cover, but they are so frustrating. their automated system is sh*t, they don't have my medication on the automated system so i'm forced to call back one of the 8 numbers that they have provided me with. none of the "speciality" branches are connected, so you waste up to 10 mins waiting for transfers and for someone to answer. they ask you your name, date of birth, and medication every single time someone new answers (even if they can't help you). they ask the patient what supplies they are needed, even though we have no clue. how would we know?(especially because i dont' even administer the medicine myself). no one here knows what they are saying and on top of that, they say that the calls are being "monitored for quality assurance" but the service sucks. every 6 weeks ( when my medication is due) i encounter this problem. stay away at all costs. I have dealt with Walgreens infusion, quest diagnostics,and two others that i can't remember. i understand complications, but really every time? if you are looking for a pharmaceutical company that also provides home deliveries, i suggest trying quest or Walgreens infusion. i have experienced this many times with them and even my nurse who comes to my house says that the company is disorganized and ill-managed. I have 3 nurses say the same thing to me. this company has given me the hardest time in scheduling my infusions, keeping records of my prescriptions, and keeping track with my nurses. they seem to have no respect for their patients, and its so frustrating that this is only company that i can use; so if you have the choice, go elsewhere. truthfully, they need to organize their company before they are expanding or anything of that sort. read more
