Terrific service, reasonably priced! I have a good but aging GE Profile refrigerator that has been repaired twice by GE and it went back to not cooling the items in the refrigerator. I heard about Louis in the Good Neighbors of Lincoln and looked him up on Yelp. He responded immediately to my call, provided me with an incredible estimate of the costs the same day (half price of GE), and I had an appointment within a week. The repair was quick, he did a great job, and was incredibly pleasant, and also had a wonderful demeanor. This can't be said for the GE folks unfortunately. He charged only a very reasonable service call fee for which he did extensive diagnostics sorting out our dishwasher drainage issue. I was having problems with my refrigerator and began calling several other repair businesses here on Yelp. None of them were able to fit me in to their schedule for several days, until I got to Ace Appliance Repair. Lou said he could be there the next day. Lou was very quick in dismantling, diagnosing, and putting my fridge back together so that my food wasn't out too long. His service fee was the cheepest I found, and his parts pricing was also very reasonable. Lou let me know that there was a $60 credit for returning the faulty part to the manufacturer, which a dishonest repair-man could have easily pocketed. He ordered the part and was back the next day. Lou was super friendly and helpful on the phone. We've got a weird sound happening when we run our laundry and we pulled the entire thing apart to try and find the problem. I called Lou on a Saturday morning (today) and he answered right away. Yet another review from me for Ace Appliance repair. Lou went above and beyond yet again. This is why his company is number one in my experience with repair companies. A day after Christmas 2020, I called Ace Appliance because our Washer went out with an F-21 code. I left a message as Ace wasn't open due to the holidays and Ace had planned on reopening on the 4th of January. But Lou received the call and called me back and told me he wasn't really to busy relaxing at home and decided to make a repair call to my residence. Lou diagnosed the problem (small fan motor for pump) and luckily he had the exact part my washer needed on his truck. He installed the part within minutes and all was done. We could now wash our clothes. It had been a week with the washer down. Because of Lou, no more stress. Wow! Louis is fantastic! He is very dependable, a clear communicator and he backs up his work. A repair didn't work as well as it should due to crummy design by Samsung (See YouTube = people all over USA are having lots of problems with Samsung refrigerators). Louis came back, did more, & didn't charge us for his work. I have always been greeted with super friendly service over the phone when I call to have him come out. He always shows up within the window of time I'm told, he is super friendly (he loves my dog lol), I'm always charged a very reasonable price, and he KNOWS what he's doing. He's definitely my go-to appliance guy, and the first person I recommend to people when they are in need of repairs. Side note: I'm pretty bugged by the reviewer that gave Ace one star for a situation that occurred in a parking lot. Why would you review a business at all when you've had zero experience with the service that they provide? And to be honest, I have a very hard time imagining Lou flipping anyone the bird.
