The restaurant is very large and was packed on a Sunday night (glad we had reservations)! A warm greeting at the door and we were seated promptly. It is a modern and polished ambiance. We had the pork chop Sunday and also shared macaroni and cheese and steak tartare. A highlight was the martini with citrus garnish and OYSTER and 3 blue cheese stuffed olives. All the food was delicious. A wonderful presentation carving the huge 32 ounce pork chop at the table. The meat was moist and fell off the bone. Loved that it came with applesauce. So many phenomenal selections, we will be back! Our service was slow. Not sure if it was the kitchen or our server.

Had dinner here last night with my mom and sister and booking a reservation online was quick and easy. We arrived right on time at 6:30pm and checked in with the hostesses. We waited a few minutes and we were then seated. Our server came over right away and introduced herself. She welcomed us in, gave us the 411 on the menu, and gave us time to look it over. We started out with 3 cocktail drinks. We ordered: 1 PERRY BERRY MULE Tito's Handmade vodka, fresh-pressed lime and cranberry juices, freshly-muddled strawberries, topped with ginger ale 1 THYME LEMON DROP Ketel One vodka, St-Germain Elderflower liqueur, fresh-pressed lemon juice, and freshly muddled thyme, rimmed with sugar 1 RASPBERRY REFRESHER Perry's Reserve Rosé, Hendrick's, fresh-pressed lemon juice, and freshly muddled raspberry and lychee Complimentary warm bread and butter were dropped off while we waited for our drinks. For our entrees we ordered: 2x 3 - COURSE PORK CHOP (Sunday special) - Caesar salad, pork chop, and side of mashed potatoes 1x CHARGRILLED SALMON - Served with lemon dill butter and cauliflower mousse 1x PERRY'S SIGNATURE FRIED ASPARAGUS - Topped with jumbo lump crabmeat 1x Rocky road pudding cake The salads came out first and they were DELCIOUS. The lettuce was served cold, crisp, and the dressing was perfect. The pork chops are HUGE. They were cut table side and the servers did a great job informing us what pieces they were cutting. They were flavorful and fell right off the bone, they were SOOO good. My sister enjoyed her salmon and said it had good flavor. The side of mashed potatoes and our side of asparagus were both delicious as well. For dessert, we tried the rocky road pudding cake and it was such a GREAT treat. Our server was the BEST as she was friendly, attentive, and very kind to my mom. All the servers kept our waters filled and toped off. The inside is beautiful and I enjoyed being able to look into the kitchen, we had a great time!

I went in a Monday and it was pretty busy. I highly recommend reservations especially if it's a weekend evening. I sat at the bar and had such a great time! The bartending staff is phenomenal. My only complaint from the evening is that it took an abnormal amount of time for my apps to come out. The food and drinks were superb and I look forward to going back to try some more of their menu! The bar is great for a chill evening and the dining area would be really good for a date night, celebration or business dinner.

We were greeted in as we walked in, very spacious and beautifully decorated! Made reservations last Sunday at the bar, loved that they have actual tables to dine on in the bar area. It's been 7yrs since I last got to enjoy aged filet mignon and Perry's did NOT disappoint, it was amazing with every bite, I ordered add on for blackened and blue, perfect combination! Loved the portion amount for "Sides for two" as we both enjoyed sharing and still had left overs to take home. Banana Foster was delicious, different from what I'm used to, I loved how they crystallized brown sugar on top, has that crème brûlée crunch to it! We enjoyed our visit and looking forward to coming back often!

My husband and I visited Perry's Steakhouse & Grille Gilbert during opening week and had a wonderful experience. First impressions matter, and Ashley was one of the best hostesses we have encountered in a long time. She warmly welcomed us, kindly accommodated us with a great table, and set the tone for an exceptional evening. Our server, Jacob, was attentive, knowledgeable, and professional throughout the evening. Having enjoyed Perry's in Texas over the years, we were especially interested in seeing how the concept would translate to Arizona. We are happy to say the Gilbert team has done an excellent job preserving the quality, hospitality, and attention to detail that have made Perry's so successful. One of the highlights of the evening was the wine and champagne selection. We were delighted to find Ruinart Blanc de Blancs on the menu and enjoyed two bottles during dinner. It was a pleasant surprise to see a champagne program of this caliber so early after opening. If I could make one suggestion, I would love to see Ruinart Brut added in the future as well. The Beef Carpaccio was fresh and beautifully presented. The Blue Point Oysters were excellent, and the Pork Chop Bites were incredibly tender and flavorful. The applesauce pairing worked perfectly. I ordered the Japanese A5 Wagyu, which was cooked exactly as requested and showcased exceptional quality. My husband enjoyed the Koji Aged Steak, which offered wonderful flavor and tenderness and was a standout entrée. For dessert, we enjoyed the lemon bar and took home the Seven Finger High Chocolate Cake for the kids. Both were fantastic. We would also like to recognize Kevin, Philip, Kristin T., Knicki, TK, and Devon. The management team was visible, engaged, and clearly invested in creating a great guest experience. You could see the teamwork throughout the restaurant, with everyone working together to ensure things ran smoothly. Opening a restaurant is never easy, especially when bringing a well established concept into a new state. Five days after opening, the Gilbert team appears to have found its footing remarkably quickly, and great ambiance. We are excited to have Perry's in Arizona and look forward to many future visits.

Perry's Steakhouse made a strong first impression on opening day. The space is beautiful, large, inviting, and upscale without feeling pretentious. Despite the crowds that come with a grand opening, the restaurant appeared well-prepared. Management was actively checking on guests throughout the meal, and the staff was attentive, friendly, and never let service slip. Every dish we ordered was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. The standout of the night was easily the Three Cheese Mac & Cheese, rich, creamy, and absolutely worth ordering. It's the kind of side dish that could steal the spotlight from the entrée. If opening day is any indication of what's to come, Perry's is going to be a great addition to Gilbert's dining scene. Looking forward to coming back and working my way through the rest of the menu.

Ok listen, I'm starting this off with a low rating but it's not what you're used to on a 3 so I'll elaborate. Let's start with what is 4 and 5 stars here. The ambiance, 5 stars. You feel like you're in LA when you walk in. It's like a portal. Beautiful and not loud. Very well put together. The appetizers: 4 stars almost 5. The pork bites are good. A little fatty so not 5 stars but the flavors hit big. The artichoke dip is a 5. It has truffle in it. Never had that before. I thought it was outstanding. Salad. The Cesar here is super lemon forward. This is fine, but not my favorite. It's not creamy it's super lemony. Not the greatest but it's ok 3 stars. Steaks, ok so mine was cooked PERFECT and I've been to a number of steakhouses but I haven't had a perfectly cooked medium rare at a restaurant in a very long time. Giving this 4 stars ONLY because it was a little heavy on the salt, but it didn't ruin my meal. The martini sampler 1 star. Insanely good idea but they had 3 martini flavors none of which was an actual martini. One was a mule, the other a margarita and third a mojito? Anyway change the name to mini cocktail sampler. I got an old fashioned(like the signature one) it was ok it was very sweet, but my main issue is I thought the glassware was kind of cheap for the type of place this is. Where I give Perry's a massive thumbs up on? The value to food quality here is out of this world. Same steaks at Cleaverman or mastros would run you close to double. Service: this was kind of ok. Started great, cooled down at one point I wanted to order some wine. She checked on me once I wasn't ready then she vanished so long I decided to pass on ordering more. We had a quirky server was hard to read the personality. I'll be back, as I'd like to try some other stuff. I DO recommend it. Just be wary of the things I mentioned.

We've been anticipating this restaurant reported they opened about 2 weeks ago. We came here for date night on Saturday. Perry's comes in as a higher end American steak house. This location still has many kinks to iron. First, we ordered crab cakes and drinks. It took 45 minutes for them to let us know that they are out of the crab cakes and for drinks to arrive. Totally understand. Moving on, I was very excited for the beef Wellington so my husband and I both ordered this with au gratin potatoes and this totally made up for the mishaps. I would definitely come back though. It's elegant in there perfect for almost all occasions

This was our first experience at Perry's, and the food and service were exceptional from start to finish. For appetizers, we ordered the Caesar salad and the lobster tempura. The Caesar salad was one of the best I've ever had, and the lobster tempura was absolutely to die for. For my entrée, I decided to try Perry's famous pork chop after reading so many rave reviews, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The flavor was outstanding. As advertised, it was carved tableside into three different cuts, making the experience even more enjoyable. Every bite was tender, juicy, and delicious. I also have to mention the smashed potatoes that came with my dinning buddy's steak. They were so good that I completely forgot I usually don't eat mashed potatoes! Our server, Kelli, was exceptional. She was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and everything you could hope for in a server. She truly made our first visit memorable. The only reason for the 4-star rating was that we were seated on the patio. While it was pleasant, we didn't get to experience the restaurant's interior, ambiance, or the full dining experience this new-to-us establishment has to offer. We look forward to returning so we can enjoy Perry's in its entirety.

yumm! Pretty good service here! Everything we ate was good, and enjoyed. My husbands steak wasn't cooked as he wanted, but the taste was amazing, and still enjoyed! The pork chop wasn't what i was expecting; its more like a few ribs, and pulled pork, but still very delicious, and enjoyed!!

For a new and upcoming restaurant, it seems like they are getting really good traction. We went on a Friday night and it was pretty busy but the space was well laid out. Our server was really good and attentive so 5 stars on that! The drinks were all amazing. The old fashioned is a must try here! Now to the food: We waited a while for our food and my table ordered steaks, I had chicken. The Filet Perry was amazing per my partner, my friends had a 20oz cowboy ribeye and the filet & Lobster tail which they said was heavenly. My chicken had good flavor but was dry unfortunately. I didn't send back to the kitchen because I knew it would take a long time to get back. Overall good experience for a brand new restaurant getting into the rhythm but unfortunate that the one thing that saved the chicken from being edible was that there was sauce on it.

We had reservations for our anniversary and we were not disappointed! The ambiance is very nice and subdued. We were seated promptly and our server Violet appeared soon after. She brought water and took our drink order. She gave us plenty of time to look over the menu. As a retired first responder, I appreciated the first responder menu available before 6pm. Violet brought some delicious warm bread and butter. We placed our order of a leafy greens and pear salad, wedge salad, pork chop and New York Strip steak. We both ordered the whipped potatoes as our sides. When our entrees arrived we were visibly impressed! The pork chop must have been at least 4" tall. Violet explained the 3 cuts as she apportioned the chop on a plate. The New York Strip was about 1.5" thick and cooked to perfection (I prefer medium) the pork chop and steak were absolutely delicious as was the whipped potatoes! For dessert we picked the trio which was fantastic! No complaints here. Violet was an attentive server and kept our beverages filled. We will return !!!!

Absolutely stunning restaurant! First of all you are treated like royalty from the moment you walk in. The food as you see in the pictures is as delicious as it looks. Everything was cooked to perfection and we had the dessert trio, which I failed to take a picture of, was absolutely amazing. Welcome to Gilbert Perry's!

All of the glasses were visibly spotty/stained. Why set a table like that for such an expensive place?? Should have known...

We all had a good time and would say the staff was very helpful and friendly with any questions we had, the Ambiance was very nice, the decor was nicely done as well, I will put this as one of my top 3 to go to for a nice evening out. Disappointing Anniversary Dinner - Expected More for the Price…read more My wife and I decided to celebrate our anniversary here after getting recommendations from friends who spoke highly of the place. Since we're in the Gilbert area, we loved the idea of a great steakhouse without the drive to Scottsdale. We went in with high expectations -- we're no strangers to special occasion dining, so we knew what we were hoping for. Unfortunately, the experience fell short in almost every way. The ambience and service felt more like a polished chain restaurant than the upscale dining experience the prices suggest. For a $300-$400 dinner for two, you expect a certain level of attentiveness and flow -- and we just didn't get it. After our appetizers, we noticed we never received the pretzel bread everyone raves about. When I asked our waiter, he said they had just finished baking a fresh batch. When it arrived, it was cold -- so that clearly wasn't the case. We also had to flag our waiter down to take our entrée order, which shouldn't happen at this price point. My steak was fine -- just fine. My wife's fish was the same. Nothing memorable, nothing that made us feel like the bill was justified. By the end of the meal we were both ready to leave. Our waiter did offer a complimentary dessert for our anniversary, which was a nice gesture, but we were already checked out mentally and chose to go somewhere else to finish the evening on a better note. If you're in the East Valley looking for a truly special dinner, I'd honestly just make the drive to Mastro's Oceans Club or Steak 44.

Use to visit the Chandler location weekly 12-14 years ago.. even told our kiddos that tonight when we brought them here. Problems started as soon as we got our food. All the food came out besides our son's children's steak, was told they had to cook another one. As we were waiting for his steak, my husband noticed his steak wasn't a ribeye like he ordered. He suspected it was a NY Strip Steak. About 7 minutes goes by and manger brings our sons steak. My husband asked the manager if his steak looked like a NY strip to him and manager replied "yes, I think we have the best NY Strip" and my husband nicely replied, I didn't order a Strip, I ordered a Ribeye and told the manager it was fine, he would eat it still and still tasted good but didn't want to be changed for a Ribeye since he got the strip wrong. ($12 difference) I got the firebirds bacon chicken pasta with steak instead of chicken and no tomatoes and green onions. Well.. there was def tomatoes and onions and no bacon. And I was changed $30 for pasta and steak.. that wasn't even made the way I asked. Well my son's (late) steak was suppose to be medium and it was rare. By the time the server came back my son was eating some of my husbands steak and my pasta so we just asked the server to take his meal off the check because it was late and cooked wrong. She said it was absolutely cooked wrong and insisted to bring him a new steak as well as take it off the check. She even asked him to put his steak on a plate and "she'd throw it away and they'll make him a new children steak." Well manager comes back and tell my husband that his steak was in fact a ribeye (it was def not a ribeye.. no marbling whatsoever) and dropped off our sons steak.... It literally was the pieces we had cut up that they just threw back on the grill. Even pieces our son chewed and spit out when it was rare and too chewy for him. Like GROSS!!! They did take the children's steak off the check and gave us a free dessert( which we didn't even want, we would have rather paid the correct amount for my husbands steak...) The waitress was fine, none of this was her fault because she read us back what we ordered and had it all correct.. but she fell short as to getting us refills (never even offered a 2nd round of wine or beer) and when it was time for the check we gave 2 gift cards $50 each and our card to pay. She brought back our copy to sign and she only took off 1 $50 gift card. We had to call her over and she realized she didn't use both giftcards and had to void our card and redo it. The managers were busy the whole night talking to upset tables. This location really needs to get their stuff together. Again, nice to offer dessert but truly all we wanted was to get what we paid for and how we asked for it and tonight wasn't it. Literally felt like we were scammed outta $160. we will be taking our $$ elsewhere.

Gosh I was so disappointed in myself that I had ever complained about not having a new menu to try after that...but at the same time it was amazing to hear so many great anecdotes and to learn so much more about him and the history of the bar itself while dining this time. I had a lot of fun times at this bar - including remembering the first time I met that bartender and sharing that memory with the staff that told me their story. They also shared that they would be coming out with a new menu very soon and some of the new items and ideas that would be rolling out so I am also very excited to go back! New food menu tomorrow too?! What?! I was almost tempted to back today to get more of their amazing dishes from the main menu!! Thank you Cat for the amazing hospitality! I learned so much about Gaea in one afternoon too :D Love it. To update about the food I tried but some of you may not get to try since they're changing it up :P *Tiger Shrimp - DIVINE - JUICY ZUCCHINI STUFFED WITH CURRY THAT MAKES YOUR ENTIRE MOUTH WATER JUST THINKING ABOUT IT ONCE ITS EVER TOUCHED YOUR TONGUE - the prawns are BIGGER THAN YOUR MIDDLE FINGER *Thai Salad - zesty spicy, VERY filling and made in lettuce cups, so very much not your typical salad but very tasty *steak skewers - much more like the juiciest steak I've literally ever had on a skewer - LITERALLY...but not because it's fat, just because they somehow made this steak completely juicified - don't ask me how - ask Cat *Mole Chicken Skewers - My favorite...you should just try it.

Sat at the bar where service was good, drinks were expertly prepared and really enjoyed the dessert! Food looked great as well, I really wish we had eaten here instead of wasting money at the other place.

It was about 5:30 PM on a Wednesday and the place was Poppin! The bar was completely full and it was loud!. We did not have a reservation and the only open seating was at the bar or high tops in the bar area. We were quickly greeted and our server was incredibly on top of it! I noticed that the main menu had a line at the bottom that stated a gluten-free menu would be available upon request. I did ask to see this menu as gluten-free is my dietary preference, not an allergyand I was brought a complementary gluten-free bun instead of the pretzel bread. I thanked our server and told him not to worry that it was just a preference and he told me that he treats all gluten friendly requests as an allergy. I really appreciated the care and concern he had for my health and well-being. This is unprecedented at most restaurants. They had a very extensive gluten-free menu and I can't wait to go back and try so many more items. We did try the Leonard burger and made quite a few modification requests - all of which were 100% accommodated. This burger was so incredibly juicy! My entire hand was dripping by the time I got done eating it. Everything else we tried was delicious. I have no complaints or suggestions for improvement and will definitely be returning soon!

They were not just confirming the reservation but asking which type of table we'd like, any mobility issues (as there is seating upstairs as well as the main floor) and what, if any, was the occasion. When we arrived for our 5pm reservation, we were instantly seated and met our AMAZING server Kay. She was an absolute gem. Our daughters have Celiac which Kay was incredibly attentive to. She was kind, funny and helpful. We'll definitely be sitting in her section again! The ambiance is beautiful and bright allowing the natural sunlight in. The live piano player was fantastic, calming and not too loud. The food was top notch. We've been to other steakhouses and the salt used, has always made us feel bloated and swollen walking out especially in the AZ heat. Elliot's was refreshing and none of us felt the need to hydrate after. We'll be coming back soon. Whether it's just a date night for my husband and I or an entire family celebration, Elliot's has become our go to. PS: the manager went above and beyond for us. Our daughter purchased my husband and I a gift certificate at Christmas. She didn't e-claim the certificate and we had intended to use it towards our family dinner. After calling the restaurant, the manager went through the 60 transactions of gift certificates on the date ours was purchased and applied it prior to us arriving. Service at every level was warm, welcoming and kind.

We split the Wedge Salad-Excellant BTW, she had the Lobster Bisque-Excellent as well, we tried two filet combination-Marvelous! The side were just okay, actually disappointed us. The olive oil (hope they use (Queen CreekOlive Oil) was great. Ambiance is stunning, very clean and well organized. The support staff was on top of their game without being over bearing. We will definitely return. Valet Parking is Complimentary-pleas tip the attendant.
