I recommended this place because espresso Marr are one of my favorite drinks. They have a salted caramel espresso martini, which was excellent at one of my best tasted drinks. I've had it quite some time. The ambience was excellent the dining room, the lighting all the decor, the wine locker in the middle of the dining room Private rooms are very discreet. The service was top shelf. They do have valet parking complementary and the food was excellent. We ordered a ribeye and it was cooked to perfection. The mushrooms were very good and the corn Brûlé was tasty. The char grilled oysters were OK. The oysters were sorta small, they had a lot of filling in them which was tasty but the oyster I could not taste that well because it was small. Also, I would highly recommend that you check this out. It's a great alternative to have a drive to Scottsdale for a fine dining experience right here in the neighborhood in Gilbert. My girlfriend and I were so excited and pleased with Perry's that we decided to bring our husbands here because we absolutely Loved the cheeseburger! We also loved the service and the ambiance. However, upon our return we were disappointed with our burgers. All four of us ordered the cheeseburgers and we asked for medium-well for 3 of them and medium for one. All 4 were well-done and a bit dry. Angel and I were left feeling a bit embarrassed because we raved about these cheeseburgers to our hubbies and the look on their faces showed utter disappointment. Philip, our server, was magnificent, just as he was before, so we thoroughly enjoyed his attention to detail. He remembered our order from the week before so that was a nice touch. He also handled the cheeseburger debacle with grace and finesse, so kudos to him! The rest of the meal was delicious, but those over-cooked cheeseburgers left a bad taste in our mouths! The restaurant is very large and was packed on a Sunday night (glad we had reservations)! A warm greeting at the door and we were seated promptly. It is a modern and polished ambiance. We had the pork chop Sunday and also shared macaroni and cheese and steak tartare. A highlight was the martini with citrus garnish and OYSTER and 3 blue cheese stuffed olives. Had dinner here last night with my mom and sister and booking a reservation online was quick and easy. We arrived right on time at 6:30pm and checked in with the hostesses. I went in a Monday and it was pretty busy. I highly recommend reservations especially if it's a weekend evening. I sat at the bar and had such a great time! The bartending staff is phenomenal. My husband and I visited Perry's Steakhouse & Grille Gilbert during opening week and had a wonderful experience. First impressions matter, and Ashley was one of the best hostesses we have encountered in a long time. She warmly welcomed us, kindly accommodated us with a great table, and set the tone for an exceptional evening. Our server, Jacob, was attentive, knowledgeable, and professional throughout the evening. Having enjoyed Perry's in Texas over the years, we were especially interested in seeing how the concept would translate to Arizona. We are happy to say the Gilbert team has done an excellent job preserving the quality, hospitality, and attention to detail that have made Perry's so successful. One of the highlights of the evening was the wine and champagne selection. We were delighted to find Ruinart Blanc de Blancs on the menu and enjoyed two bottles during dinner. It was a pleasant surprise to see a champagne program of this caliber so early after opening. If I could make one suggestion, I would love to see Ruinart Brut added in the future as well. The Beef Carpaccio was fresh and beautifully presented. The Blue Point Oysters were excellent, and the Pork Chop Bites were incredibly tender and flavorful. The applesauce pairing worked perfectly. I ordered the Japanese A5 Wagyu, which was cooked exactly as requested and showcased exceptional quality. My husband enjoyed the Koji Aged Steak, which offered wonderful flavor and tenderness and was a standout entrée. For dessert, we enjoyed the lemon bar and took home the Seven Finger High Chocolate Cake for the kids. Both were fantastic. We would also like to recognize Kevin, Philip, Kristin T., Knicki, TK, and Devon. The management team was visible, engaged, and clearly invested in creating a great guest experience. You could see the teamwork throughout the restaurant, with everyone working together to ensure things ran smoothly. Opening a restaurant is never easy, especially when bringing a well established concept into a new state. Five days after opening, the Gilbert team appears to have found its footing remarkably quickly, and great ambiance. Despite the crowds that come with a grand opening, the restaurant appeared well-prepared. Management was actively checking on guests throughout the meal, and the staff was attentive, friendly, and never let service slip. Every dish we ordered was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. The standout of the night was easily the Three Cheese Mac & Cheese, rich, creamy, and absolutely worth ordering. It's the kind of side dish that could steal the spotlight from the entrée. Ok listen, I'm starting this off with a low rating but it's not what you're used to on a 3 so I'll elaborate. Let's start with what is 4 and 5 stars here. The ambiance, 5 stars. You feel like you're in LA when you walk in. It's like a portal. Beautiful and not loud. Very well put together. The appetizers: 4 stars almost 5. The pork bites are good. A little fatty so not 5 stars but the flavors hit big. The artichoke dip is a 5. It has truffle in it. Never had that before. I thought it was outstanding. Salad. The Cesar here is super lemon forward. This is fine, but not my favorite. It's not creamy it's super lemony. Not the greatest but it's ok 3 stars. Steaks, ok so mine was cooked PERFECT and I've been to a number of steakhouses but I haven't had a perfectly cooked medium rare at a restaurant in a very long time. Giving this 4 stars ONLY because it was a little heavy on the salt, but it didn't ruin my meal. The martini sampler 1 star. Insanely good idea but they had 3 martini flavors none of which was an actual martini. One was a mule, the other a margarita and third a mojito? Anyway change the name to mini cocktail sampler. I got an old fashioned(like the signature one) it was ok it was very sweet, but my main issue is I thought the glassware was kind of cheap for the type of place this is. Where I give Perry's a massive thumbs up on? The value to food quality here is out of this world. Same steaks at Cleaverman or mastros would run you close to double. Service: this was kind of ok. Started great, cooled down at one point I wanted to order some wine. She checked on me once I wasn't ready then she vanished so long I decided to pass on ordering more. This was our first experience at Perry's, and the food and service were exceptional from start to finish. For appetizers, we ordered the Caesar salad and the lobster tempura. The Caesar salad was one of the best I've ever had, and the lobster tempura was absolutely to die for. For my entrée, I decided to try Perry's famous pork chop after reading so many rave reviews, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The flavor was outstanding. As advertised, it was carved tableside into three different cuts, making the experience even more enjoyable. Every bite was tender, juicy, and delicious. I also have to mention the smashed potatoes that came with my dinning buddy's steak. They were so good that I completely forgot I usually don't eat mashed potatoes! Our server, Kelli, was exceptional. She was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and everything you could hope for in a server. She truly made our first visit memorable. The only reason for the 4-star rating was that we were seated on the patio. While it was pleasant, we didn't get to experience the restaurant's interior, ambiance, or the full dining experience this new-to-us establishment has to offer. I visited Perry's in Grapevine, TX and have been bragging about the pork chops to my wife since. I found out that Perry's would be opening up a location in the Phoenix area before the ground was even broken on the building. I told my wife, I would want nothing more than to have my birthday dinner there. It opened up a week before my birthday, just in time to enjoy the food I remembered and I loved in the past. We made reservations and drove an hour to get to Perry's arriving about 30 minutes early. Our table was not ready since we were so early, so we went to the bar, where we were greeted and had amazing beverages. After having a drink, my wife and I were able to be seated, The entire restaurant was modern and beautiful. Although it was busy, the staff seemed to make us feel like we were the only table they had. They were super attentive and made my birthday night feel super special. I got the amazing pork chop, while my wife got the ribeye. Both were amazing choices, but I do honestly think these are the best pork chops you will ever find. Our server was really good and attentive so 5 stars on that! The drinks were all amazing. The old fashioned is a must try here! Now to the food: We waited a while for our food and my table ordered steaks, I had chicken. The Filet Perry was amazing per my partner, my friends had a 20oz cowboy ribeye and the filet & Lobster tail which they said was heavenly. My chicken had good flavor but was dry unfortunately. I didn't send back to the kitchen because I knew it would take a long time to get back. We had reservations for our anniversary and we were not disappointed! The ambiance is very nice and subdued. We were seated promptly and our server Violet appeared soon after. She brought water and took our drink order. She gave us plenty of time to look over the menu. As a retired first responder, I appreciated the first responder menu available before 6pm. Violet brought some delicious warm bread and butter. We placed our order of a leafy greens and pear salad, wedge salad, pork chop and New York Strip steak. We both ordered the whipped potatoes as our sides. When our entrees arrived we were visibly impressed! The pork chop must have been at least 4" tall. Violet explained the 3 cuts as she apportioned the chop on a plate. The New York Strip was about 1.5" thick and cooked to perfection (I prefer medium) the pork chop and steak were absolutely delicious as was the whipped potatoes! The food and the service need work. Let me explain! While I realize this place has only been open 2 weeks and our service was great, the overall food, presentation and service was not so great for being an upscale steakhouse. I will start with our drinks & dessert: they took a while, over 20 minutes for our table size dessert. The drinks were fantastic, $17 each cocktails. The dessert was a table side ice cream, the nut one. They "heat up" the caramel over a white chocolate shelled ice cream. The caramel was not warm, it was just for show. It needed to be heated to cook off the brandy, caramelize the nuts and have the caramel hot enough to melt the thick shell of white chocolate. Instead it was not even slightly warm, the nuts were raw and the white chocolate was hard to break into and chew. The ice cream was just an average plain vanilla. It would have been great and felt more upscale with a creamier vanilla bean. Now onto the food. The steaks were great! Very peppery but we did not mind. The sides were OK, but while they came out on hot plates, they did not seem hot and steamy which gave me the impression they were either sitting for a while or were not freshly made. We did not order an appetizer. The last thing is that the bathrooms needed attention. The stall I went into had both toilet paper rolls emptied, leaving me to use a tiny square and whatever scrap I could pull. I did let a server know to refill it. Overall I would give this place a try again, but it definitely needed work and I was underwhelmed. Hoping it improves because we need a great and fancy steakhouse in the area! read more

We already ate somewhere because we couldn't get a reservation, but as we walked in an amazingly friendly hostess greeted us and got us a table at the bar. Her welcoming was a great first impression and the buildout was the second. The two stars belong one to her and one to the design/contractors. That's where the stars ended. Our table in the bar was getting blinded by the sun the entire time, our glasses were dirty, the lady who brought my wife her latte dipped the cookie on the tray and told us she threw it away rather than get her a fresh one. The server forgot the dessert menu but otherwise was ok. The thing that disappointed us the most was that we ordered nearly $100 in desserts and would have been better off at any grocery store bakery. The bananas foster was gross as was their $25 chocolate jubilee cake because you could taste the 151 rum and fuel from the propane torch. The cake and others we ordered tasted like refrigerator, most definitely not house made and probably from a company like sweet streets. This isn't a scratch kitchen. It's a big beautiful gift box with a mass produced trinket inside. Don't be fooled by the packaging everyone, there are better restaurants almost anywhere, but kudos to that hostess, she was the most genuine part of the experience. read more

First I will start off by saying their French Onion soup was the best I've ever had!! The broth was rich, perfectly seasoned and perfect! The corn brûlée had a little spice but was rounded out by the creaminess and sweetness with the crunch on top. Just when I was absolutely amazed at how incredible the food has been, the star of the show arrived. I ordered the Koji aged Prime Ribeye and my wife ordered the Filet. Words alone do not do this succulent tender slice of heaven justice. No sauce needed here (although I ordered some just to try.) This was without a doubt, the best steak I have ever had in my entire life. The only negative that came to my mind that I told my wife was, it just really sucks that this absolutely mind blowing meal is right down the street from us, and if we ever are in the mood for it and want the best again, there's zero chance of just popping in as you need reservations pretty far in advance. Maybe this place will be better when it's a little older and has some kinks worked out. But in the meantime, anyone dining here will still have to pay their exorbitant prices for dining mediocrity and failure at its finest. It's like we're paying them to get their act together. Then later, our food took so long that our server brought out extra glasses of wine because they wanted to make sure there was still enough to enjoy with the actual meal. Our server was great, courteous and knowledgable about the dishes and got everything correct throughout the night. They even did us a solid and hounded the powers that be to turn down the music that was so loud that hearing any conversation down the table was impossible. So I hate to blame any delay on the server. The place was packed and I assume understaffed, thus explaining wait times. All told, we were there almost 3 hours, pacing that I don't mind when it's by choice. But really, all that aside, the food is just not worth it. The fried shrimp and fries was $37. Yup, you read that right. My husband ordered it, and I'd say it was about 8 or so butterflied shrimp that were super fried and paired with French fries that were way way way over-seasoned. He gave me several, and I just left most of them on my plate. He left the majority on his plate as well. And let's just say we are the type who normally enjoy our fries immensely. I got the red snapper from the "Off the Menu" menu, whatever the hell that means. It was $48 and tasty, paired with whipped potatoes that were quite stiff by the time they reached the table, one can only assume from languishing while plated and waiting for the other dishes to come up. I was really excited to try Perry's and joined another couple for dinner, but unfortunately the experience ended up being a bit disappointing overall. Starting with the positives, the appetizers were excellent. We ordered the pork chop minibites, Texas sausage, and barbecue shrimp, and everything was flavorful and enjoyable. For our entrees, my friend and I ordered the New York Strip Flight featuring USDA-Aged Prime, Perry's Reserve Texas Akaushi Wagyu, and True Japanese A-5 Wagyu ($99 each). Our husbands ordered the 20 oz cowboy ribeye. We also shared the loaded mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, and crème brûlée corn. When our steaks arrived, there was confusion over which order was medium rare versus medium rare plus, so my friend and I ended up switching plates ourselves. Unfortunately, all three cuts in both steak flights were extremely over-seasoned and so salty that they were difficult to eat. We tried our husbands' steaks and theirs were perfectly fine, so it seemed isolated to our meals. To their credit, the restaurant replaced the steaks and accommodated our request for lighter seasoning. The replacement steaks were much better. However, this is where the evening became frustrating. We waited about 20 minutes for the replacement meals while everyone else continued eating. The staff brought us a small plate so we could continue eating our sides, but by the time the new steaks arrived our sides were cold and our husbands had already finished their dinners. Part of enjoying a nice dinner is eating together, and instead we ended up eating separately and feeling full before our entrees even arrived. What surprised me most was that after the delay and issue with the original meals, there wasn't any gesture to acknowledge the inconvenience--no complimentary dessert, drink, or other concession. Unfortunately, dessert was also disappointing. We ordered the bananas foster prepared tableside, but the bananas were still cold and the brief tableside flame didn't seem to warm or caramelize them enough. The crème brûlée also appeared not to have set properly and arrived warm and runny. Overall, the appetizers were excellent and the replacement steaks were good, but for the price point and expectations, the experience fell short. The wait is finally over and I can say that it was totally worth it. Perry's did not disappoint. They brought the same caliber of food and service that one would expect. My wife and I shared the pork chop lunch special, it is massive. The flavor is amazing. As usual, their entire staff is super attentive and pleasant. Alejandra, Chris, Phil and everyone else were so welcoming. You really feel welcome when you step through the door. I'll be back soon. read more

(3/5 Stars) My partner and I chose Perry's Steakhouse in Gilbert to celebrate our anniversary, and there were so many things to love. The food was phenomenal, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the service from our server and the rest of the staff was excellent. Nearly every employee who stopped by our table wished us a happy anniversary and made us feel welcome, which we truly appreciated. Unfortunately, one experience overshadowed what otherwise would have been a perfect evening. Assistant General Manager Kristin was walking around our section throughout our dinner. We watched her introduce herself to every table surrounding us, ask how their meals were, and check in with them multiple times. Our table was the only one she never approached. At first, we assumed she was simply busy and would eventually make her way over. However, after seeing her repeatedly return to the surrounding tables while continuing to avoid ours, it became difficult not to feel that it was intentional. As two gay men celebrating our anniversary, we couldn't help but wonder if we were being treated differently because of our relationship. We truly hope that wasn't the case, but it was an uncomfortable feeling that lingered for the rest of our meal. It's especially disappointing because every other member of the staff treated us with kindness and made us feel celebrated. The food and service deserved 5 stars, but feeling overlooked by a member of management significantly impacted our overall experience. As far as fine dining steakhouses just skip this one. More hype than fine dining. Make the drive to steak 44 or Durants or even Dominick's. The food for the price just doesn't hit. Same for the service. If I'm dropping this kind of money I'm going to Steak 44. Perry's was ran out of 2 cuts of steak I wanted. Appetizers took forever. Overall ambience is mid and not that personal. For fine dining steakhouses this one misses big time. read more

Took 20 min for 2 glasses of wine. There were 3 of us and they gave us one menu. I understand it's a new chain restaurant and there are glitches but when the food comes before your wine, it's annoying. They didn't bother to comp the glasses of wine. Won't be going back. read more

New to town we were quite surprised how busy it was for lunch on a Friday. Thankfully we had reservations. We came for their Friday pork chop deal and a late birthday celebration. Familiar with Perry's at other locations we had high expectations. Service however fell flat. Our waiter just seemed to always be in a rush and would leave the table before we could ask anything and then was nowhere to be found for quite sometime when it was time to order. The menu is nice and I love that they have some great appetizer deals for lunch including steak lettuce wraps. We tried the pork chop.deal for lunch. While it was quite a large serving the flavor fell short. The pork chop was dry and the mashed potatoes not flavorful. The applesauce was the only saving grace. For dessert we got the chocolate cake for my birthday. I loved that it was gluten free. However the description did not quite match what cake out and it was extremely heavy and a bit bittersweet. read more

I'm disappointed to have to give this review. But the experience last night was a disaster. We were celebrating a birthday. Steaks came uncooked and had to be sent back. Our sides came 15 minutes after steaks. Lobster butter was late and cold. I could go on but my God. I'll give the bartender credit for mixing a really good Paloma. What's going on Perry's? The Schaumburg, IL location is a first class operation. Been there a dozen times. Gilbert isn't close to that. read more
