The service was friendly, attentive, and surprisingly fast, even though the restaurant was busy. We had hoped to sit on the beautiful outdoor patio, but it was full, so we chose to dine inside rather than wait. After seeing the outdoor space, I definitely think the patio would make the experience even more special with its lovely atmosphere. We started with the Loaded Potato Chips and a Caesar Salad. The Caesar salad was fresh and tasty. The loaded chips were good, but all of the toppings were piled onto one section of the plate, leaving the majority of the chips plain and a little bland. For our entrées, we ordered the Ribeye, Old Forge Pecan Fried Chicken, Burgers, and the Chicken Pot Pie. The standout of the meal was definitely the chicken pot pie. It tasted just like my grandmother's homemade recipe and was comforting, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Be sure to save room for dessert! Their dessert selection is extensive, and the coconut pie was fantastic. One of the best parts of visiting is simply the setting. The outside of the restaurant is beautifully landscaped with colorful flowers and lush greenery, making it a charming place to walk around before or after your meal. Overall, we had a great experience with delicious food, quick service, and beautiful surroundings. We'd definitely return, and next time, we'll try to snag a table outside!

The parking here was neat grass, gravel, and paved section. Huge area for car clubs. There is a decent variety of foods on the menu. I had the Chicken Sandwich with coleslaw . The sauce on the sandwich was super tasty. I also tried my better half's chicken salad sandwich with sweet potato fried. It was super super good as well. Service was great here and friendly. Bathrooms were clean as well. I highly recommend this home cooking spot if you're in the area. I can't wait to come back here!

Tennessee Haystack was good, although it came out incorrect the first time.... chicken and waffles mediocre at best. Small chicken tenders similar to something that you'd get at a convenience store. Isn't this considered to be part of the South? Trying to get our check became a struggle. Waitress disappeared. Young man at the cash register was able to figure it out finally and we were able to pay. Biggest issue, noise. If you are even slightly bothered by loud noise, DO NOT sit inside. What amplifies the issue, is multiple families would line up to pay. Not only increasing the noise by us, it caused for congestion in the area by the kitchen for the servers.

It was 12:00 & dining room was mostly empty. The Benedict sauce tasted like melted margarine & was pretty thick too. One of my eggs was totally boiled, meaning no runny yellow. The other egg was just barely runny. The Canadian Bacon was NOT real. It was some sort of sliced & spiced luncheon meat that tasted horrible. I asked the waitress for some butter for my grits, and she said "more butter?", as if it was fine the way it came, and what is wrong with me:-( The shrimp on the Po Boy was NOT Blackened. No spices what-so-ever. The french fries that came with it, were the best part of that meal:-( Our waitress, Becca M, avoided eye contact with us the entire time we ate, and remember, the place was over half empty. Once we were finished eating, she came over, after waiving her down, and asked how our meal was. We reported to her the unsatisfactory meal but we ate it because we were on a quick break from work & needed to hurry. We did not have time for a 2nd breakfast to be cooked. She picked up the bill & asked us to wait a minute. She returned after a while & told us she removed the charges for the two iced teas! So, we paid $35. for two people to have a crummy meal while on a quick break from work. FINALLY - we are so sick of those horrible metal chairs in the dining room. They hurt most people's outer legs/hips & do not encourage a customer to relax & be comfortable. In the past, the food was so good, we would just over look the chairs, but after today's horrible food & the lack of anyone caring about our visit, we won't be using our hard earned money to eat crummy food & be uncomfortable. FYI: after removal of our iced tea, our meal was $29.90, we did include a $5.00 tip.

Breakfast is the highlight, with hearty plates of omelets, hashbrowns, and biscuits with gravy that taste just right. On weekends they even put out a breakfast bar, and those little mini biscuits brushed with sweet cinnamon butter are worth the trip alone. The dining room has its own personality too, complete with a truck parked inside that somehow feels fun rather than gimmicky. Service is warm and easygoing, adding to the laid-back atmosphere. When I visited, I grabbed a chai latte from the coffee shop next door since they don't serve specialty drinks here, and nobody batted an eye. That kind of neighborly vibe sums up the place perfectly. It is casual, filling, and just a little quirky in the best way. If you are nearby and craving a solid breakfast before or after a country drive, it is absolutely worth stopping in.

There was no sausage in the sausage biscuits and gravy. I mean no sausage there were a little specs in the gravy. The ham steak was good but it was extremely salty. The biscuits were amazing. The ambience is very cute. It's stereotypical hillbilly mountain decor lol it's nice to go to while you're there it fits the environment of hillbilly chic. The weight staff was great. The young African-American lady in the front. I don't know her name who is the hostess was absolutely delightful. The breakfast buffet was not the best either. They had French toast sticks that you buy at the grocery store as the French toast on the buffet. If they put a little bit more attention into the food, this place would be great.
