Washing Machine wasnt draining. Vince came today on the holiday and troubleshot the issue ultimately diagnosing a faulty pump. He had a pump with him as he asked for model number when I called. The machine was fixed pretty simply and he was very friendly and provided some suggestions to avoid potential issue again. Great first experience and highly recommend. Vince fixed our oven but completely gouged us! He was here for about 35 minutes and it took him 15 minutes to do the repair. At first he said it would be $210 for parts and labor and when I agreed he added another charge that brought the total to $365. The oven igniter costs about $50-$80 online. After he left we realized that this was way to high for this repair. So we contacted him 3 times to try and get an itemized receipt for a breakdown of the charges and haven't heard back from him. Vince took out the new part we had paid for and left. He told my wife he'd send us a refund check for the part he took back. Several weeks now, no check, and he's not returning my calls. I contacted Vince for a repair as our fridge is currently fluctuating from hot to cold to hot again. He came out for a visit the middle of May. He diagnosed the problem as relating to there being dirt/rat's nest on the compressor, cleaned it off, and charged us a diagnostic fee ($80) and a cleaning fee (?$50). He warned us that this might not fix the problem, and if it didn't, it would likely be an issue with the motherboard and we'd have to pay to get that replaced as well as related sensors. We gave it a week or so but quickly realized that cleaning the compressor didn't fix the problem. I called, made an appointment, and over the phone Vince once again suggested a motherboard replacement. That week, he didn't show up for the appointment. I called and texted - his phone was off - but after a week and a half I gave up after not hearing back. I'm not sure if he had an emergency, or was on vacation. So, I called another repair shop. Not only did the technician come right out, he didn't charge a diagnostic fee - he said that he takes the $$ off of the final repair price - he knew right away that my issue relates to a recall for a GE fan specific to the make/model of my refrigerator. I still have to wait to have it repaired, but now I am worried that Vince's recommendations would have put us back quite a lot of money - and not fixed the problem. I was surprised at my experience given Vince's good reviews. I wish him and his company well but would likely not use his services in the future. read more

Our Thermador stove had an issue with the fan and I called around to a couple of places. Vince was recommended from another appliance repair company that didn't work on Thermador. He came out in 2 days, diagnosed the problem and put an order in to get the part. It took a few more days to get the part in, but Vince called me to let me know ahead of time. That's what you want, good communication. He returned, installed the part and now we have our oven back. What can I say, he does his job well, he's friendly, but most importantly he follows through. My refrigerator stopped working this past Sunday night. I called around to a few techs to get some pricing and my last call was Vince. Vince diagnosed over the phone and knew right away what the problem and was asked me what make my refrigerator was. He knew that there was a class action lawsuit that should allow the replacement of the compressor for free. I called the manufacturer and got it replaced for free. Instead of taking my money knowing full well what was wrong, he put aside making money and went out of his way to help me. I called Vince at ASAP because my dishwasher's heating unit was not working. Vince was very nice he promptly came out to my house with the new heating element installed it, took my check and off he went. The next time I used the dishwasher the heating element was not working. I called Vince back to talk to him. He said the only other problem the unit could have is the mother board. He said he would check prices and call me back at the end of the day. No phone call. Six phone calls to him and he finally answers to say he's just coming home from a "procedure" in the hospital, but was fine and he would call. No follow up at all. I phoned Douglass Maytag who came out, ran a diagnostic on the dishwasher and determined it was the motor. New motor and all is well. Sorry to say, that was what happened. read more

I wanted to go with a small business rather than a big business due to the economy. My washer was needing repair. I spoke with Adam who said they were already in Greenwood working and would see me today. An hour later, Kenny the repairman called and said he'd be here in 35 minutes. I assumed he ran into a problem and was running late. I called Adam back who said they were running behind. After waiting 4 hours, Kenny did call back and said he forgot me! If yuh were "on your way, see you in 35 minutes" how did you forget me? I'm VERY displeased with this company. Incredibly rude person said that they were running late and if I didn't need them to come they wouldn't. Really? Running late for first appointment? No call? We are very disappointed with ASAP. My dishwasher wasn't draining and my icemaker and back of refrigerator were iced up, causing my icemaker not to work. I called ASAP and a technician came on March 11, 2020. At the house he informed me he would not work on the icemaker because he might break it and I should call Samsung but he could work on the dishwasher and the icing of the back of the refrigerator, which he said was a different problem from the icemaker. After an hour and a half of labor (with no parts) he finished and presented me with a bill for $475!! When I complained about the price, he told me I was lucky as he could have charged me more. A couple of weeks later, the dishwasher overflowed again. We decided to replace it rather than call ASAP back. A month later, I noticed the back of the refrigerator was icing up again. (we still don't have a functioning icemaker) All told, we didn't see any benefit at all from the $475 that we spent with ASAP. If you call them, at the very least, ask how much they charge and for what. I won't call them again. read more

I purchased a refrigerator from ASAP appliance store. The owner has kept $700.00 and refuses to refund me my money much less give me the refrigerator I purchased. Please see the following text message he sent. The last paragraph indicates he will not give me my money or deliver the refrigerator. Please do no do business with this company. Do your homework. There are several bad reviews for this company on google. You do not want to work and spend your money with a company that will not deliver. I paid him 11/19/16 he promised to bring my refrigerator, he didn't even call me and tell me he wasn't bringing it. I went through the weekend without a refrigerator. He the promised on 11/21/16 to bring my refrigerator, he said he plugged it up it works great blowing really cold. He said I would have it by 12 pm. I took off work he didn't show up until 8:45 pm. It was not the refrigerator I purchased. He then sent me these text, two days before Thanksgiving. I have 3 families coming in town and I cater food for the homeless on Texas Street. This is what this man did. Left me and my family without a refrigerator. I will contact the BBB and the Rip off report and my dad is the production manager for a large radio station down the street. I had access to friends who run summer feeding programs. He would have sold 20 refrigerators in a day had he done right by me. Please don't let anyone misuse you. When my fridge stopped working Vince came out to look at it within the hour. He was very efficient, personable, and professional. It took a second visit, after ordering and installing a part, to find that the fridge could not be repaired (bad compressor = too expensive to repair) by which point I'd already put a few hundred into parts and labor. Vince had been incredibly helpful all along, and when I got the news about the fridge he felt badly too; although he couldn't waive the fee for the non-returnable parts and the labor he'd already invested, he very generously offered to run a new water line to the new fridge's icemaker, for free (an offer I accepted). Overall he was great to work with, extremely reliable and easy to reach by phone, showed up when he said he would, did good work (and left everything spotless), explained everything he was doing, tried to be helpful in every way, and gave the impression he really cared and wanted me to be satisfied--which I am. Vince comes across as a hardworking, knowledgeable, and honest guy. He came to my house, diagnosed everything, gave me a quote and fixed things in pretty short order. I needed my refrigerator reconditioned, Oven fixed, Washer repaired, and Microwave oven looked at. I chose to give ASAP a call after reading other yelp reviews. Vince came out and diagnosed each of the appliances. He determined the microwave was fine and it was basically me just being impatient. :-) The washer was not draining properly. He took it apart, saw the pump was full of sand/gravel most likely from beach towels being washed, but not being shaken out well over time. He had the a pump in his truck and fixed the washer before he left on his first visit. My 12 year old refrigerator doors would not stay closed and crisper draws would not open and close properly. My oven would not heat and needed an element. He ordered all the parts, came back a few days later and everything has worked ever since.
