My favorite Mexican food restaurant in Colorado and possibly even New Mexico which is where I was born (maybe even more than Monroe's). Service is fast and friendly and the restaurant is family owned - you can't go wrong. My family and I visit probably once a week. My favorite is the green chile enchiladas but I've had almost everything else including the fajitas and it is all good. Adriana's is small and the seating gets filled up, so sometimes your table might be in the back room, and the wait staff might not come back as often. They provide chips and a small salsa at no cost. Have been looking for some good Mexican food since I moved to Castle Rock and I found it tonight. I ordered the #8 combo with the crispy tamale and chile relleno and it hit the spot. I work close to Adriana's and we go there often for lunch. The poor review posted earlier is very misleading. I'm sure they had these problems but this restaurant had just opened and was still finding it's way. The first day they opened was supposed to be for family only and the community descended on them and chaos resulted. Long waits, ran out of items, etc. Believe me they have addressed this and these problems no longer exist. The good is tasty and portion size is great. In fact if we order the burrito for lunch about half of the time we have to take some home! The chips are salted and taste great, they are NOT some generic chip as mentioned elsewhere. The stomping? Well this restaurant is inside an old house for pete's sake! The floors are what they are! The entire restaurant was remodeled completely before Adriana's opened and it is a comfortable and pleasing environment. The people? Well they are nothing if not friendly and enthusiastic! They are open to suggestions as they continue to tweak the menu items and recipes and over all everything is great. The owner's young daughter is even there periodically and learning the business already! So don't be scared away by one poor review (who should have given it another chance now that they've been open awhile) and try it, you'll like it! read more

Every once in a while you'll get a substandard meal here because there training someone new or the regular cook is out.....5% of the time. The other 95% this is real Mexican food with a real Mexican menu not something some people came up with in a boardroom and tested by a committee. If your looking for soul less chain restaurant food watch the ads on television and pick one.....anyone because they all taste the same and the menus are identical. If on the other hand you want real Mexican food Adriana's is probably the best place south of Denver with the exception of Hacienda Colorado which is much more expensive. On the downside for some it's a hole in the wall, it's in Franktown, would you really want or expect it to be classy??? read more

We live just up the street and this place is awesome! It is very clean, comfortable and the service is outstanding. If you go and it is busy, patience is in order, you ill get your turn and when you do your treated like your the only one in the restaurant. The food is outstanding! I am a mexican food snob and we have been looking for a place since we moved to Franktown that is simple but good and we found it here. And the margaritas, excellent! This is what Yelp is for. Finding restaurants that are owned by the people who work them and letting the community know to come and support their neighbors. Adriana's is wonderful. I get a warm feeling every time I go in, no it is not from indigestion, and I hope to become a regular. I have been three times and been happy each time. Every visit I have had something different and have yet to be disappointed. The last time I stopped by I had a smothered bean burrito with refried beans and rice sides and a beef taco. I am not the kind of person who goes around recommending the vegetarian option but seriously the bean burrito was great. I am from California, land of large and delicious burritos, and have been totally bummed out by the chicken or beef burritos I have been getting in Colorado. All they have in them is the meat, where is the beans, where is the sour cream, how about some rice for peats sake! I know it is a cultural thing but sheesh boring. Anyway I do digress; the bean burrito was a healthy portion covered in green chili and was the perfect temperature to warm you up on a cold day. Some real Colorado comfort food if I have ever had any. The refried beans were creamy and piping hot and were complemented by the oddly colored yet very tasty rice well. Word from the wise, yes sometimes I am wise, grab a paper menu on your way out and call ahead for your favorites. They will be ready and waiting when you pop in to pick up. read more

In my opinion one of the better Mexican places I have had in the area. I got a guac tostada and a cheese enchilada with green chili. very good. Excellent Mexican food! Everything from the Margarita through the flan was outstanding!! Homemade chips and salsa were the first indication that this food is going to be great! I had a tamale that was full of meat, the best cheese enchilada and a beef taco with a homemade shell. These were served with beans that reminded me of Mexico and Rice that was the perfect complement. My husband had a tamale and chili rellano that were excellent! Even though we were stuffed, we had to try the flan. It was enough for two and actually had a caramel taste instead of the burned sugar taste like most restaurants. You are missing the boat if you don't try this restaurant! Well worth the drive! read more

We were surprised when we walked in to this little non-descript place and found out it was a Mexican restaurant. The food is fresh, fast and fabulous. The prices are great and the service is very good too. the only downside: I don't know what we eat there that is so heavy on the garlic, but you can taste it for the rest of the day. We visited Adriana's in Parker (another location in Elbert). Unequivocally, beyond a shadow of a doubt, without comparison the absolute BEST mexican food in the 6 county area. We have lived in Denver since Jesus was a boy. We have tried every conceivable restaurant looking for great tamales. I want crisp rellenos with a lot of cheese. I want refried beans that taste like they were made fresh. I want salsa that is tangy and tasty yet not unbearably hot. I want a steak burrito that actually has a beef taste and is cooked just right. The mole is beyond reproach. Guess WHAT I FOUND IT IN ADRIANA'S. It is so worth the drive that I plan on going back next week. I can finally tell visitors to the Denver area, that no matter where they are from, Adriana's will beat their best Mexican restaurant. OH YEAH THE PRICES ARE WITHIN ANYONE'S BUDGET. read more
