I was hesitant in visiting this little restaurant due to an earlier review but friends were persistent in going. Am I glad that we did, it was clean, the staff which is all family were nice and helpful. Everything we tried was fresh and delicious! We are all native Texans and while this is authentic Cali Mexican food we loved it! The carnitas were full of flavor, the nightly special of gorditas was a huge hit with two of us and my 3 year old loved her quesadilla and the grilled shrimp appetizer as well as the poblano rice! I haven't had poblano rice since I lived in San Diego- not your ordinary firm Mexican rice, a little wetter but oh so good! Adriana's has only been open two weeks?? It's good, flavorful and we had good service. A couple of notes. Plan to arrive early if you want to avoid a wait for a table. Bring a child entertainment pack if you'll need one as one will not be provided. The restaurant uses a group service plan. So, you can ask any waitress for what you need rather than waiting for the one that took your order. Overall, we'll return. read more

This place is the reason I love Yelp - I likely wouldn't have found it without the prior reviews since the building is fairly plain and could easily be overlooked. I agree with the other reviewers - food is amazing but they could use at least one more server to handle peak hours. Fresh chips and fresh salsa were a great start. The tacos Cubanos were fantastic. Food is excellent. The service when we visited was poor, very but the food mostly made up for it. We did ask for chips and salsa twice and didn't get them at all and waited 20 minutes with restless kids for our check. We have eaten here 2 times. First time for breakfast which was good but we sent it back as it was luke warm. Second try was for dinner once again food luke warm the Carne asada was sour (Which was comped and they did offer me a new meal which I refused) . Husbands meal was supposed to be enchiladas and he was served a burrito which the waitress offered to make it right and we again decided not to. The green chili is really good. Been here a few times with my boyfriend and my daughter (6month old) and it is the only restaurant that we weren't made feeling uncomfortable because we brought an infant. The whole staff was great and welcoming. Service was fast and accurate. My boyfriend had the house margarita which he says was the best he ever had, but limit yourself to two, because he's a big guy with a fair amount of tolerance to alcohol and was quite tipsy after the two (I was driving so I didn't try the margarita) but you could see the server prepare it, no mix was used and they use fresh limes squeezed by hand. We talked with the owner and she was fabulous, explained to use how they prepare the food, using family recipes and make everything from scratch. She told us she's there every morning by 5 preparing the food, homemade chips, salsa and everything else on the menu. We raved about the peanut butter and chocolate pie (a must to try if you have any room after the generous portions). I feel like this restaurant is the best concerning customer service that I have been to in Colorado, we felt genuinely appreciated by the whole staff. We went not so authentic this time - chicken nachos, cheese enchiladas and shrimp tacos. The nachos were to my liking - lots of pickled jalapeño's and an even distribution of everything. The shrimp tacos were decent but my wife wasn't wowed by her enchiladas. The tres leches was ok. This place is close to Castlewood Canyon State Park which is nice. Finish an awesome hike and sneak in for a beer and some grub. The service was friendly but a bit distracted by her iPhone. Love Love Love Adriana's!!!! Here's a few of my favorites. Chili rellanos, Cubanos tacos, pesto chicken, grill chicken salad, ahi salad, carnitas plate, quesadillas, shrimp tacos, & Asada plate. Desserts peanut butter pie & sopapillas ala mode. Lots of different choices to choose from that are gluten free & vegetarian as well. Service is always super friendly & attentive. My review is long over due. We moved out to Franktown a few years back and after driving by Adriana's pretty much every day, we finally tried it. I wasn't expecting much given Franktown has very few restaurants but this place is great. The service is awesome and definitely solid Mexican food. We have done takeout now several times and they always get the food out quick. read more
