We have had the misfortune of using this shop twice in one year. Not misfortune because of them but 2 accidents in one year just sucks! They made both experiences so much better! From beginning to end they were incredibly professional and they kept us in the loop on everything. When we got in our first accident the insurance company sent us here. We are from Los banos but our accident was in Morgan Hill and the car was drivable but pretty damaged. They had us in that morning to review the damage and get an appointment set up. Everything with that car went smooth they even offered to paint the rest of the bumper (which was badly chipped from normal wear and tear driving it over Pacheco pass every day) for a very small fee since they would already have the matching paint! When our next accident happened we knew EXACTLY where we wanted to go. This accident was much worse as the car was not drivable so we knew this would be a longer process to begin with. More than once we got a call that they had everything done but on the test drive things weren't right so they wanted to take it back and make sure it was perfect before we got our car. THAT is what we like about them. Some people might not appreciate having to wait longer and longer but we wanted it done right the first time and not have to come back in a week because of issues. It was nice to always be in contact and know what's going on at all times. We will ALWAYS be using them for any repairs we may need. Good as it gets!!! I would give 6 stars if I could. Just about sums up my experience with Advanced Auto Body. Being in this accident was one of the scariest experiences of my life. But to get my little blue Honda back as good as new was something that made me feel whole again. I was super impressed at the professionalism of the entire staff there. Everyone was so kind and caring. They kept me up with everything going on with my car and it's care and repair. They kept in touch with the insurance company and kept me abreast of what was going on. I loved the text messeging they sent to me regularly letting me know of the progress in the repairs. I was promised it on Thursday and Paul called to say it would take a little more time but he wanted it done right and it would be done on Monday. Friday Paul called and said they worked last light night and my little car would be ready today. Yeah!!!! I picked her on Friday......Good as new (Maybe better). I could not be happier. We used Advanced Body several years ago and recently had to visit them again to replace a fender damaged in a parking lot incident. Their front desk person and adjustor were both very friendly and professional. They explained what was to be done, how the insurance would work, and answered all our questions. We were due to have the car back on Friday afternoon unless there was a problem with parts in which case we would receive a call. We did receive that call and were told in a very apologetic manner that the used part they ordered under insurance company guidelines was not acceptable to them so they had to order a new part from the dealership. This would delay our car's repairs from Friday until Monday. We were told that the car would be ready Monday at 5:30 - we were there a few minutes early and the car was ready and waiting for us. Again received prompt, courteous and professional service and an explanation of the repairs that were done, warranty and insurance information, and instructions to care for the newly painted fender. The work was excellent and we also received a phone call 3 days later to check in and ensure that we were happy with our experience. Would definitely use Advanced again and also recommend them to our family or friends in need of a body shop. read more

It's very rare that I ever leave my car over night at any body shop/dealership (usually because I do all the work to my car personally). Ive always had the fear that someone will take my car for a joyride like all these horror stories you hear about at other places, but when I left my 350z over at advanced auto body I felt very comfortable and assured that David would take care of it. I was quoted that replacing my front bumper plus painting it and mounting my new wheel would take 5 days and I believe they got it done in 4 and when I came to pick up my car it looked amazing. I was very impressed with the customer service, time it took to fix my car, and the quality work they did. I made sure to check the corners of the bumper to see if they missed any spots or even for paint runs but it was perfect I couldn't have been more happy with taking my car here. I know for sure if anyone ever hits my car again or I need some kind of body work done I will not think twice about coming here first. And I forgot to mention they returned my car all washed and clean which definitely added to the 5 stars! read more

Advanced Auto Body Shop is definitely a five star service. The staff is friendly, professional, organized and helpful. We filed a claim for repair from gravel damage to our car. Initially, rather than approving repair, the insurance company considered the car as salvage and wanted to write us a check. They assessed the cost of repair was as close to the value of the car. We didn't agree and Annette, our estimator, also didn't agree and vouched the car was in great condition to justify repair. As a result, the insurance company went along. Thank you, Annette! Advanced promised to have the car completed in 9 days. They were done in 7. Each day we received a progress report via text and email. They provided drop off and pick up of the vehicle and were very thorough and in all their work from start to finish. As far as their workmanship, the vehicle looks brand new. All State in Gilroy deal with two body shop for my fender bender and I chose Advanced Auto Body because the one in Gilroy has one review with a single star. The service is very good and the Paul is very professional. Adv replace the front passenger door (the dented one) as Paul had told me. When I went to pick up my car, two day ahead of schedule, the repair is great. When I check the interior of my car there are white spots all over the front driver seat, center console, and seat belt. I pointed them out to Paul. He took the car to back of the shop and have it cleaned while I went to return my rental car. When Enterprise drop me off about half hour later, all the spots were cleaned. I'm happy with their work if the insurance pay for it, but their estimate is one of the highest if you have to pay out of your pocket. read more

My Jeep Cherokee was rear ended resulting in pretty extensive rear end damage. The crew at Advanced did a fabulous job in repairing it, and it looks good as new. The job took longer than it should have but this was the result of the insurance company's recalcitrance and tardiness in authorizing payments. We had a great experience with Advanced Auto Body. They have great customer service! When we went there, they did a comprehensive evaluation and gave us a good price for the work. They then followed up to get us scheduled. When we dropped the car off, they already had the parts ready. They gave us an estimate of 4 days to do the repair and checked back with us at the end of the first day to reconfirm the 4 day turnaround. At the end of day 3 the car was done and they said that they could leave the keys in the car if we wanted to pick it up after hours.
