Wow! The zucchini chips are insane! I think this will be the go-to whenever we dine-in! Fresh and delicious. Make sure you get a reservation in advance. Tables seem to go quickly. I've been to many greek restaurants- this by far is the most authentic, delicious greek food i've ever ate in my entire life. Been here over 15 times now, and will always choose to come back. Amazing food, super staff, beautiful space. These guys just opened, and I think they have hit it out of the ballpark. It's the kind of place where you feel at home from the moment you walk in. Love this place but the parking is a challenge. They have a lot behind the place but the neighboring tattoo parlor has a person to scare you away. Very unsettling. When you finally do enter the restaurant you are greeted with smiles and warm 'hello' followed by do you have a reservation (something that you should always have as this place is small). Once seated a basket of warm pita and seasoned olives is brought to the table ... lovely. The menu has so many wonderful options to chose from but we decided to go for the sample of the 5 spreads. My favorite was the eggplant followed by the fish roe dip then the feta with Serrano peppers. The hummus and tzatziki were just basic. They did not rush you through the appetizer which is wonderful... you had time to enjoy your wine ( that you brought cause this us a BYOB) and chat. Dinner was the mixed grill which was plenty for two if not three. Since there was only the two of us we took what was left in our doggie bag cause we had to save room for the homemade dessert. As a Greek , who grew up in Greece, I can say that this is one of the best Greek restaurants that I have ever been to! I was so excited when I saw that a new Greek restaurant was opening up in Park Ridge. (The one that was there before had very subpar food. After a couple or times eating there, I never went back). I was hoping that we would finally have a great Greek place close to home and wouldn't have to travel to Astoria every time we wanted great Greek food. Well, they did not disappoint.... EVER.... I have been there countless of times and I have tried almost everything on the menu. The food and service has always been exceptional!!! And Ken and Evan are so nice and friendly they make us feel like family every time we are there. My favorite dish is the lamb chops with a side of the most perfect French fries!! The fish are always fresh and the grilled octopus is phenomenal. All appetizers are delicious and very authentically Greek. As is the pastitsio and the mousaka, which taste exactly like my mom used to make them. I can go on and on about all the great dishes but do yourself a favor and try this place. Decided to try Aegean Easter Sunday based on these reviews. We ordered two dips and the calamari appetizer to share plus an entree for each of us. Way too much food. Could have left off one of those, the pita with the dips really fills you up. The service was very friendly and the pacing of the food to the table was perfect. We had the tiger prawns, halibut, and lamb chops. All the dishes were perfectly prepared and delicious! We were very happy that we found a great Greek restaurant fairly close to home. Wow. What a difference. This place use to be a small old school Greek place. Food was great. Now i walk in the ambience and style is exactly what I expected of the place in the beginning. My wife is Greek I am Portuguese so I love all the seafood options obviously. She makes her own mothers recipe for spanakopita. and I have to say she was raving about it. I believe we got the last order and it was at 8 PM. I ordered the octopus and an original Gyro. I have to say fantastic this place blew me away and I got the food to go. I will be back for a sit in dining experience because I have nothing wrong to say about this place right now. Thank you for coming in to this neighborhood because we needed you very bad. Disappointed. Not sure where all the five star reviews are coming from. This is the first time a place with that many five star reviews really disappointed us. The food was okay however the hummus had too much tahini in it and my moussaka didn't have much flavor. Was disappointed in the wait staff. Did the obligatory upsell of the "best" plates and when we arrived to an almost empty restaurant we were told the only tables available were outside; however when we finished eating and were leaving the inside still was not full. I find it interesting there was no inquiry or explanation given. We eat faster than most and are in and out before the restaurant would have need a 2-top (time typically depends upon the speed the restaurant takes to get us the food, not on us). Unfortunately the mosquitoes eat my wife up sitting outside. Overall it was average and a little overpriced for the food quality. We would have ordered bigger plates but I'm glad we didn't because I doubt we would have enjoyed them. Be careful about the parking it is not clear and some parking near by is not available for this restaurant, make sure of the signs before parking. As far as Greek food goes, this was extremely average. We had the wild salmon, lemon potatoes, spinach pie, fried zucchini, and avoglemono. Of all the items, the zucchini was the best but was still very greasy and salty. The soup, spinach pie, and salmon were lacking in flavor and the presentation was sad. The flavor of the potatoes was good but they did not look at all appealing. The restaurant itself is very cute, but I'm sorry to say we will not be returning. read more

really wanted to love this place but unfortunately 2 stars is all i can give. dinner started with a huge, HUGE pet peeve of mine.... a super unfriendly waitress. couldnt bother to smile, welcome us, ask if weve been there before etc, just looked like she would rather be anywhere else. continued thru the whole meal. Big strike. on to the food. some hits and misses. started with 2 dips - Xtipiti, a spicy pepper and feta spread, was amazing. However the next dip, the taramasalata, was underwhelming. Apps -the grilled octopus was the best thing i ate here. just delicious and perfectly grilled. However the spanakopita (spinach pie) was heavy and almost chewy, far from the flaky, crispy phyllo dough savory pie that we enjoy. cant speak for other the other dinners, but while my shrimp saganaki (shrimp in a feta and marinara sauce) was tasty, it certainly wasn't worth the $35 for 4 small shrimp. yes, 4 small shrimp in a bowl of sauce... $35 entree. The Kataifi for dessert was fine... nothing special. All in all, too many other Greek/Mediterranean options locally that have better food and value.
