They came by to let us know what the issue was, then, after we had the flooring ripped up after a leak detection company marked off where it was, they came with the jackhammer and tore up our cement. Unfortunately, the leak wasn't where detection had marked it. I'm grateful Stephen was find enough to come in on what was supposed to be his day off the next day to continue after we took up the rest of the wood overnight. They did a great job at locating the leak, fixing it, explaining what might have happened to cause it, filling the hole back up and covering it with cement. I highly recommend reaching out to them and hope you get Stephen as your guy if you ever have plumbing issues.

My washer agitator came loose with a heavy load and he reattached it so I could use the washer, sent for parts and then repaired it so the agitator now moves left and right again. The fridge leaked every 4 days or so and he pulled it out from the wall and pulled the drain tube out and unplugged it. He assured me the intermittent heating on the lighted burners on my stove top was normal to keep the settings constant- not a short as I feared-haha-and assured me it was not silly of me. As a grandma, this service call was a big deal to me and NICA's reasonable rate for the call, labor, and parts along with Edward's kindness and professionalism was excellent. I tried to start a load of laundry right after he left only to find that it was still not working. I immediately called the technician back to let him know and was told that he was pretty sure he knew what the issue was and he would need to order a part. He assured me that once the part came in someone would call me to schedule another appointment. I waited a month for that mystery part to show up and finally called NICA to ask if it was being shipped from a different planet. I was told...no lie...that my washer had already been fixed. When I explained to the gentleman what I had been told by the technician he informed me there was nothing in the notes and that the technician who came out said he did not remember telling me that. So, fine...a little miscommunication apparently. I haven't had a working washer in a month but it happens. Now for the best part, I am told that since the work order has been closed out I will need to pay another "initial" $100 fee for them to come out. Yeah...no thanks. You screwed it up royally the first time. I think I will take my chances elsewhere.
