Errr, I think today's meal was a bit too salty for my tastes. I have been dying of thirst since I got the chicken souvlaki with fries at lunch. Of course, that won't stop me from coming back. :) +1 star for the outdoor patio seating on a gorgeous fall afternoon with 80 degree weather. Also, service on the patio was impeccable. I asked for a water glass and was told that someone would bring it out to us. Well, I grabbed a giant plastic tumbler anyway. When the server came by with the water, he included two placemats, two silverware settings, two water glasses, a pitcher of water, and a basket of just warmed pita wedges and fresh garlicky hummus dipping sauce. OMG this place is amazing. It's like Athena Grill but better!! They offer a larger variety of wraps and I managed to satisfy my koobideh craving by ordering it in a wrap. The tzatziki sauce it creamy and delicious and they serve fresh hot pita while you wait. The wraps are served with fries but they're not as hot/fresh as Athena Grill's. The koobidah was seasoned well, slightly on the dry side but was tempered with the tzatziki sauce. Given the price we paid, it was worth it. :) I've never eaten here at lunch since I work waaaay to far from here but we stopped by for dinner. During dinner, its sit down/table service. read more

Agape Grill, what do people usually look for when they read these reviews? 1st of all, I want to say Agape Grill is run by a very nice, and generous family who knows how to cook amazing Greek food. I went here for the 1st time after hearing about the amazing food and boy was it good. The Gyro and garlic fries w/ the Agape special sauce is amazing and to die for. If you go here I recommend the Gyro, straight down, it's amazing! The service is amazing and it's not as crowded, which sucks because it is an amazing place to eat at. And since it's not so crowded, the service is amazing! They tend to you and care for you. 2nd, I would like to add the environment of the place, is just amazing! The decor is absolutely stunning and it looks like they are adding paintings on the empty blue wall panel. The location of this place is in a rural company area, which is why it is not as crowded, but that doesn't stop it because it gets crowded for lunch time. Go for dinner! It's better, I hear they actually serve you during dinner time. During lunch you order in the front and pick up in the front. I would definitely recommend this to everyone! Found the place thru Yelp for lunch with a friend, Agape looked good and location is ideal. Not knowing what to expect, we were both pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the lunch a lot. Parking was no problem and there is a decent outdoor dining area near the entrance. As soon as you enter, get in line to order and pay first. This is a little awkward, you are out of luck if you're unfamiliar with Mediterranean food. I ordered the gyro plate and my friend had the Moussaka (vege and ground meat bake). As we looked for a table in the dining area, we were impressed by how large the place is and glad to see it's kept very clean with simple decor. Service was minimal but efficient, right away we got some warm pita with hummus and a small pitcher of water with lemon to serve ourselves. Food came quickly and the portions are HUGE. For my gyro plate, I got 6-7 long slices of meat (pretty tender) on top of a pita, a lot of French fries (soft and soggy, not good) and a side of tasty Greek salad which I enjoyed very much. The dip that came with the plate was very yummy. My friend liked her food a lot as well, we both asked for a box to bring home a substantial amount of left over. I also bought 3 cookies ($2.5) to try; they were pretty good, not sweet but probably made with a lot of butter. Overall I think Agabe offers excellent value, not sure how the dinners are, I'm eager to find out. Awesome Mediterranean food! This place is hidden in an array of office buildings, but I was surprised to see that the restaurant is a good size! We had a party for 30 people in the back of the restaurant and there was plenty of space available for other customers to sit. We did a buffet lunch for $20 per person and it came with falafels (which are crispy and delicious!!), beef and chicken kabobs, vegetable moussaka, rice, vegetables, salad, hummus, babaganoush, and pita. The food was delicious! In addition, we received great service throughout the lunch. I can't wait to come back for more falafels. They were popular with our group. YUM! I wonder if maybe it's not the same owner :) Because it is the same style and taste :) You will find all the classic dishes, hummus, tzatziki, dolme... All gyro-combination plates, wraps - choise of chicken, lamp, beef, mix etc. Comes with fries, salad, pita bread. The taste is pretty good. Well seasoned, well cooked. Very similar to Greek's I've tried in France, so I guess it must be close to real Medi food :) Portions are HUGE! It easily feeds 2 people. It is not a fancy place (meaning if you are looking for a quiet romantic dinner with candles... don't come here lol). It is rather family / group oriented with a welcoming atmosphere. I came here again a few months ago, and have to upgrade my review. This time I ordered the biftekia plate, since I remembered that was one of the better tasting dishes from the last time I was here. The service was pretty slow this time and the place was mostly empty, so I don't understand why the service was slow. I do have to say that the food tasted better this time around, but that could have been because I already knew what the better items were on the menu to order. Went here Friday night with two friends. Service was friendly and fun, and the restaurant has a great vibe. It's super clean inside and nice, and they also have a more casual outdoor dining patio in front. One of my friends I was with is getting married next weekend, so we were catching up on wedding stuff and celebrating. The waiter and bartender congratulated her and gave us some free drinks, which was an added bonus. The food was fantastic. The garlic olive dip is delicious with the fries, the pita is warm and fresh just the right consistency, and the hummus and pita they give as a free starter are delicious. I had the gyro plate and it was huge. I took half home and had it for lunch the next day. I can't remember what my friends ordered, but they shared a plate and loved it. I will definitely be back. A note to the owners, move your open sign down about a foot! When the umbrellas are open, they cover the sign until you've already driven past. My roommates and I think about coming here a lot as we're driving home, think you are closed, and then see the open sign after we've already passed by. read more

If you are looking for a place that serves authentic Greek food, this is the place for you! They have a perfect amount of choices on the menu and the portion sizes are generous. The staff is very friendly and you can tell that it is a family run business. They checked in with us enough times that it was good service without being annoying. They had a menu that consisted of domestic but also Greek beer and I got the Mythos Green-delish! This place is good if you want to have a big party or banquet, it is a large space with a dance floor in the middle. When I went, there was some sort of gathering and by the end of the night, there were several elderly couples swaying together on the dance floor-how sweet! :) Be advised, It is a random location for a restaurant, my bf and I drove by without even realizing it was there. We had made reservations for four (which you don't need by the way, there were plenty of tables that were open), and they gave us a table where if our friends had sat across from us, we would be separated by a space of about five feet. And this table was one of the smallest tables they had too. Not that the seating arrangement was bad, it was just weird. The bill for us four came out to be about $120, before tip. So a little on the pricy side, but definitely worth the experience. And don't forget to order the baklava before you leave! read more

This is my ultimate favorite restaurant in the entire area. The agape sauce is some kind of gift from the gods. I buy a container of it each visit. Where to start? The chicken tender is my favorite dish. They know how to marinade meats and fish. I think that is part of the secret of this place. They even manage to make raw onions not kill me in their Mediterranean Salad. I don't need to pick out the onions and this is like a magic trick how their dressing treats the onions. My friends and I came here late in the evening, probably about 45minutes to closing, and they were very accommodating and prompt with food/drinks/service. The bartender knows some of the people in my party and kept us laughing as the cooks and waiters were closing! Great place, make sure to tip accordingly for the hard work/service you receive! Came to Agape Grill as we're always looking to try new places. We arrived on a Friday evening to a full parking lot and live music. Cool, we walked inside from the rear entrance and felt like we were intruding on a Greek wedding with how many people were dining and dancing. Felt just like a wedding reception. The food here is overpriced and under portioned. My other half order a Gyro wrap and I had biftekia as a meal. The "mixed ground beef" in the biftekia is really hamburger patties that looked frozen and were so dry. I swear, I thought I'd have to drown the entire plate in ketchup just to get it down my throat. The gyro was no better, grease dripping out of the wrap everywhere. Seems like their favorite filler is old, gross, dry french fries! We sat within eye-shot of the kitchen and it was disheartening to see how often the microwave was used. The food here isn't fresh and so many things are reheated. We couldn't even finish our meals...such a disappointment and a rare occurrence for us. Service was terrible and non-existent. Several people waited on us and kept apologizing at the slow service, but they did nothing to try and improve it. There was a gentleman who seated us wearing a suit who was monitoring everyone working there. Seemed like he was the owner and I must say if he was, he could have been better engaged with his customers.
