Stopped by for lunch today. This was my first time trying this location. This location is large inside, with plenty of seating options. You place your order at the front register and they deliver your food to your table. I ordered the chopped salad without peppers or pita chips. I added a side of beef/lamb gyro meat and a side of chicken gyro meat. I also ordered a small fountain drink. I found a table and waited for my order. It was delivered to me quickly and you can see the steam coming off of the gyro meat. My salad was huge. I didn't care for the lemon dressing so I asked the young man at the front counter if I could try the red wine vinaigrette. He was really nice about it and gave me the other dressing to try. The red wine vinaigrette dressing was perfect with the salad and gyro meat. The salad was loaded with cucumbers, tomatoes, garbanzo beans, feta, pickled onions, Kalamata olives and garbanzo beans. It was so good and the gyro meat was hot and savory. It all worked so well together. The ice machine was not working so I had to have my soda without ice. At least the soda was cold. I could only eat half of my salad and got some takeout containers for the leftovers. Overall, I think you get your money's worth with the amount of food you get here. Had a really great experience at Hollenbeck's Greek! The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out hot. Everything tasted authentic and well prepared, and the portions were generous. Ordered takeout on Jan 1. The boys got skewers w/ fries (one steak & one chicken) and I went with a side of lamb. The chicken & steak were both cooked perfectly, a nice char on the outside and moist on the inside. My boys don't eat the salad, so it makes for an easy lunch with a side of lamb. But proper cleaning maintenance needs to be done on the soda fountain; there's mold growing all over the ice lever. We love coming here! It's one of our go to places with the kids. It is super kid friendly and we love their kid menu options. I love how they change up their menu with new dishes like the gyro bowl (basically a gyro without the pita) and their desserts! They have this amazing pistachio sundae that is so huge you won't be able to eat it all in one sitting unless you share! The staff is also super friendly and nice here too. The ambiance is great as they have authentic Greek music which I really appreciate. Highly recommend coming here for a nice, comforting Greek meal! read more

I'm a fan of the Nick the Green chain out here - reliably consistent and delicious Greek fare, quickly prepared. My favorite is the gyros bowl, with rice, salad, feta, tzatziki, onions, cucumbers, tomatoes - and I like it with the chicken gyros or the lamb/beef gyros. I ask them to hold the spicy yogurt sauce and the salad dressing, to save on calories a bit. Good stuff! read more
