First time here and it definitely didn't disappoint. I was greeted with a warm smile as soon as I walked in. The restaurant was a bit busy, but I grabbed a seat at the bar since I was dining solo. My server greeted me right away and had my coffee and water in front of me within seconds--great start! I ordered the veggie omelet and it was absolutely delicious. Normally, I add meat to my breakfast omelets, but this time I skipped it--and I didn't even miss it! The veggies were perfectly charred and full of flavor without being overcooked. Paso Robles is well known for their wineries, BUT this little gem right here should be a place you stop at before sipping some delicious wines. My coworkers and I came here to have breakfast and the staff was very attentive and offered us coffee on the spot with French vanilla or regular creamer on the side, meaning they're kind of a big deal haha. I enjoyed the steak and eggs got it medium rare and it was delicious (23.99) and my coworker got the agape omelette which pretty much had every meat in that kitchen looked delicious with the homemade salsa on top. Then for dessert I had to get the cinnamon roll French toast (15.99) it was so bomb pretty much tasted like a Cinnabon pressed down and smothered in icing and maple syrup definitely would get again. And they're dog friendly as well for those families. Would definitely come back to this homie environment spot l. read more

I had with us rancheros and my son had pancakes, bacon, and eggs. However, the wait time was very very long. Like ridiculous, especially for the time of day. It was midweek 9 AM. They need to really up their speed of service. Seems like a lot of people kind of standing around and maybe not very efficient. However, the staff is very very nice. read more

The food here is by far and away my absolute favorite! However, the service is sub par every single time. I am a server and don't mind waiting as I completely understand busy restaurants, but when you are watching people who come in after you get your order taken first, the guy at the table next to us get up and get his own box, etc. And when I brought it up to one of the owners, she just said "I don't know what to tell you." A simple, "I'm sorry, thank you for bringing it to my attention" would have been nice. I literally dream about the food here, so it is only the service that is lacking. Hopefully they can get it together because I know many agree. read more

It really really good. You can't really call yourself authentic and have bad salsa. But this place hit its mark. The birria was so good and the salsa was spicy but a good spicy. I loved the Mexican omelette the cafe de Olla was sweet not overly sweet, like my grandma use to make. I think he was the owner but phenomenal guy to speak with. Omlet was delicious except for the fact they left the bell peppers in. Very nice staff. Checked on us all the time. As we were leaving,we noticed there was a line waiting to come in for breakfast. We stopped here on our road trip from Santa Barbara to Tacoma, WA. Needed a quick and easy place to stop for breakfast at the beginning of our trip. The location is very easy to get to off the freeway and plenty of parking. The restaurant is very clean and has a friendly staff. The food was good. Not exceptional, but good quality. One thing I didn't realize is how massive the portions are! Ordered 4 entrees for 5 people and took a ton to go. We would have been better off with 3 entrees. They have good coffee and did an iced coffee to go for my refill. That was a nice touch. Also...the vibe of the restaurant is very much about kindness and love and that felt very good! read more

I think this is the 3rd time I've left a review Agapes? We just Malu's in Atascadero. Agapes has yet to mess up any of our orders(Malu's messed up my order), their portions are leftovers-size, the food is just really good, the staff is great. They get that final 5th star because they've NEVER messed up an order with us. That means the cook is preparing what was ordered, and the server is checking it before placing the food in front of me. We've been wanting to come here for a while after hearing so many people rave about it and today we finally got the chance to go. It was awesome and truly lived up to all the hype. My daughter got the cowboy burger and she loved it. My son got the kids pancakes with eggs & bacon he said they were the best pancakes ever and the waitress even put a birthday candle in his pancakes and sang him happy birthday! I had the classic eggs benedict with hash browns, everything was so fresh & flavorful. They we're playing some great music and it wasn't too loud like most places. Plus at the end of our meal the waitress asked my kids if they wanted to meet the chef and they were so excited the chef even gave them lollipops.
