Agapes has yet to mess up any of our orders(Malu's messed up my order), their portions are leftovers-size, the food is just really good, the staff is great. They get that final 5th star because they've NEVER messed up an order with us. That means the cook is preparing what was ordered, and the server is checking it before placing the food in front of me. We've been wanting to come here for a while after hearing so many people rave about it and today we finally got the chance to go. It was awesome and truly lived up to all the hype. My daughter got the cowboy burger and she loved it. My son got the kids pancakes with eggs & bacon he said they were the best pancakes ever and the waitress even put a birthday candle in his pancakes and sang him happy birthday! I had the classic eggs benedict with hash browns, everything was so fresh & flavorful. They we're playing some great music and it wasn't too loud like most places. Plus at the end of our meal the waitress asked my kids if they wanted to meet the chef and they were so excited the chef even gave them lollipops. It's getting harder to find great breakfast spots so, despite the favorable reviews on Yelp for Agape 8:39, I didn't have super high expectations. Boy, was I surprised at the quality of food at this lovely gem of a restaurant!! The portions are huge, the price is right but, most importantly, the food is off the charts delicious!!! The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming and the service time and attention were both perfect. If you're in Paso Robles, I recommend you give Agape 8:39 a try and prepared to be blown away by a great breakfast! read more

Our first visit - definitely (!) not our last. Very convenient location with easy parking. Some outdoor seating. Very cute and welcoming ambiance and staff. We were seated quickly and almost immediately offered beverages. Then they got busy and we had to wait a bit to order. Food was worth the wait! I had a chorizo & bacon omelette and my partner loved his chorizo Benedict. Eggs Benedict is a great way to assess a kitchen - eggs were cooked perfectly and the hollandaise sauce was delicious & silky. Chorizo was very flavorful and not greasy as it can be. Everything was really fresh - loved the pico on my omelette! So bright and flavorful - just how pico should be. Service was excellent. Even though they were busy, the wait was acknowledged, and every person who helped us was very pleasant and attentive. Great neighborhood breakfast experience. This may very well be our new breakfast go-to...haven't had one since Galley Bite closed a few years ago (we miss you, Brenda!). Darn! I'm sitting here mad at myself for not taking pictures of the food! I had the short stack, that was cooked perfectly! & my husband had the chicken fried steak & eggs which was huge! Right after we ordered, we ran into some good friends who joined us so we got our food first & waited for them to get theirs until they insisted we start eating. My husband said he wished that they wouldn't have put his scrambled eggs on top of the steak because it made it chewy. Though to be fair, it did sit there while we waited on our friend's orders to arrive. Though everything was pretty fast service. The service was friendly and our friends had the blt & garden omelette, which they liked. It was busy for a Saturday morning, but we got seated right away. I thought of a motto for them... Oscar is back! So glad that this is the new spot for breakfast and lunch in Paso! I waited a till I had been here a few times. First off, it's a great atmosphere for a great restaurant. This location has always been a black hole for businesses to fail. I truly believe that is finally over! They have really brought a good, positive vibe to this location. You really feel welcome here. So far, the food has been top notch delicious! It can get pretty busy so be prepared for a possible wait. It's totally worth it it too! This was my first visit to Agape, and did they live up to the hype! This place was absolutely packed for a Tuesday morning. We were promptly greeted and opted to sit at the bar to avoid waiting for a table. I had heard that they had the best Chilaquiles around, which they sure did! The dining room was a little noisy but that was because everyone was having a great time. Despite the food taking quite awhile to come out, it was well worth the wait. read more

My husband and I discovered this place yesterday and we loved it so much we decided to come back today! First off, if you have a Tesla that needs to charge (or another car with a Tesla adapter) there are several chargers (8 I believe) in the very large parking lot so it's a great place to eat and charge. The staff is so welcoming and friendly it's hard not to smile walking in the door. The interior is warm and large, great place to meet up with loved ones for a great breakfast. The overall theme is Christian but please don't be put off by that if you are not of that persuasion. The thing that first caught our attention was that they have several different chilaquiles options on the menu as we are huge fans of this dish. We were torn between the traditional version with green sauce, the chorizo, and the birria. We opted for the Birria and it was phenomenal! Another favorite of our is crepes and they had several crepe options which all sounded delicious but also very sweet (great for dessert) so I asked for crepes with unglazed fruit and some Nutella drizzle. They were absolutely perfect and I got my morning fruit serving in so it was basically health food We had plans to eat somewhere else this morning but hubby and I both wanted to try more things at Agape so we went back. We had a tough decision as so many things look good on the menu! I wanted to try the breakfast burrito but hubby wanted country/chicken fried steak and since it's his bday trip, we went with the steak, which normally I'm not a fan of. But this one was so flavorful and tender that even I enjoyed it (hubby was in food heaven). It came with one biscuit and we ordered an extra side of gravy for that as the gravy was the most flavorful breakfast gravy I've ever had. I enjoyed my crepes so much the day before I ordered the same thing today and they were equally wonderful. We almost ordered the churro ones because they sound terrific, but I couldn't justify the extra indulgence with everything else. Right when you walk in your greeted with warm customer service! The place is way bigger than I expected, and was pretty full for a Friday morning. Very good overall. Everybody I knew has been here and said they thought it was great. I finally visited Agape and I would have to concur. My first go to when comparing breakfasts' with other restaurants, is the Chicken Fried Steak and eggs. Theirs was tasty even if the steak was chewy. Apape's Omelette's are excellent as well as their Eggs Benedict's (they have multiple offerings). The service is also excellent, although the place is popular, so expect to wait 20 minutes or so. It's loud inside, but it's hard to hold that against them. The staff is courteous and attentive. Will definitely come back. read more

This is a family owned restaurant with quick and kind service, despite the busy morning. We came around 10am and every table was full, but we were seated less than 5 minutes after the first table opened up. I personally love the homey ambiance that this restaurant has, with their wooden furniture and table tops that are very well kept. This location has seen a lot of turn over as far as restaurants go, its a tough location. So I was excited to see a new place to try. The interior was bright and bustling. It is crowded - but there isn't much they can do about that. We only had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated I ordered the bacon&eggs - it was great price for the amount of food I got. We had Agape chilaquiles - spiced just right. Torta carnitas was a 9/10 only because it didn't come with beans and rice. Yes, we could've ordered on the side. French fries crispy outside, soft inside and good flavor. We got cinnamon rolls to go - haven't tasted yet but they're HUGE . The menu is extensive. Initially I felt there wasn't very little chorizo mixed with the eggs and potatoes. Our server Noemi asked if all was okay and I let her know I was hoping for more chorizo.
