    Birria Queso-Tacos (3)

Agave Azul is a simply decorated joint but they pack a punch with their flavors. I thoroughly enjoyed the birria tacos and my friend enjoyed her crispy tacos as well! We had two rounds of margaritas too and both tasted great. The margaritas are a bit on the smaller side but the ratio of alcohol to fruit juice/liqueur is just perfect. Overall a fantastic meal with accommodating friendly staff! Highly recommend! It's just across Walmart so a great place to stop for a quick bite to eat before or after your grocery shopping!

Great tacos and quick service. The birria tacos were very flavorful and I loved the broth that came with it. Chicken tacos were simple and flavorful as well. The server came over and offered me some hot sauces to try and I loved the unique fruity flavors accompanied by a good heat level of the sauces. The vibes of the restaurant are very busy but also family friendly. I'd come back here again if I was in the area!

10/10 From Texas and these are some of the best pastor tacos I've had! Will be back when traveling for work. Good vibes and fast service.

Another great visit with awesome service and always great music playing. Same staff is working whenever I go and they are consistently providing quality service. If you haven't been check them out! Recommend the pupusas or birria tacos however EVERYTHING has been great!

Surprisedly , I have been to a lot of Mexican restaurants but this place right here is the BEST. Everything was seasoned to perfection and it was fresh! Service was fast and efficient! The place screams family which I loved!!! The strawberry margarita wasn't the best but everything else was simply amazing!

Based on my first time, five stars indeed! My mother and I dined here after doing a quick Yelp search on restaurants nearby since we were in the area, and we were hungry. I wanted to try something new. Here we are! I noticed this restaurant some months ago and it was in the early stages of opening. So it's been on my radar!! But out of sight out of mind, until now! The restaurant was pretty empty when we walked in, but two parties of 2 were dining in. We were greeted immediately and sat in a booth near the window. I believe all the booths were aligned along the windows. The restaurant is well lit and it is clean inside. I love airy restaurants that don't smell and feel stale and this restaurant is a breath of fresh air. We looked over the menu and ordered our norm when visiting this style of restaurant. My mom - Texas fajitas, but it's called something else here and me tacos. I tired the Pastor one, chicken and ground beef. My mom enjoyed her food and I enjoyed my food. My favorite of the three was the Pastor taco! I am pretty simple so meat, cheese, lettuce and jalapeños topped with salsa makes me happy at Mexican restaurants. I had a regular margarita too and it was tasty! No flavoring needed for me. Not sure how authentic this place is, but it's great! I would definitely recommend you give them a try! They feature a happy hour during the week, so I must plan to return to experience this. Oh, chips and salsa to start - very good! Plenty of parking too! Have fun and enjoy life :)

Small. NOT fancy. But so good! With it being a new place with non typical dishes, I had to ask about what was safe to eat with my gluten allergy, and they were great about it. I loved their handmade corn tortillas for street tacos-no bland fall apart ones here!

We were down this way for a curiosity Faire at the conference center and after roaming around checking this at the conference center hubby got the hangry pains. I already knew he wanted Mexican so after a cursory Yelp search we found Agave Azul. Other reviews made it sound like a place to try out. Hubby had his go to of chori Pollo and I decided to go with chicken fajitas. Both of our chicken meals were tender and flavorful. Hubby is a man of few words so all I got out of him was "it was good." My dinner portion fajitas had so. Much. Chicken. I just wish there had been more veggies. All in all a great meal for $50. Hubby had a margarita, I had a Fanta orange and a Mango Jarrito, cheese dip and our entrees. The interior was clean, quiet and for a time, it was just him and I. It was very hot outside and the temp inside quite comfortable. We'd try them again if we're ever back in this area.

Place is fairly new! No alcohol yet bc they're waiting for their license. Food was amazing! We ordered the burrito birria and carne asada fries! The kids enjoyed their quesadilla with rice and beans! Cute decor! Selena playing overhead and quick service. Plenty of room in the inside with a bar area as well! Bathrooms are available with changing tables! They have plenty of parking as well! And fyi. I had a street corn to go! And for $0.50 more you can add a coat of Cheetos, spicy Cheetos or Takis!

So we dropped in this place for lunch and all I can say was wow. The Birria tacos and Ramen although pricey was a home run. The tacos were cooked perfectly. The chips and salsa were great. I did not give them 5 stars because nobody refilled our chips and we paid for queso we did not get to eat. And the food took a very long time. Probably not the best meal if you are in a time crunch.

Review based off of takeout order. We recently tried this location and I really enjoyed the variety of food on their menu. We received our ordered on time via Grubhub and had a positive experience with their delivery service. Their Birria Queso Tacos were excellent, hot, crunchy, and juicy. Their tacos were good, not my favorite in the area but still very good quality. We enjoyed the Pupusas, which were very tasty and not as common to find. Their guacamole was very perfectly executed. There was plenty of items on their menu I would love to try. I definitely will go in person next time to enjoy eating in their restaurant.

This is Birria Queso Tacos with dipping sauce. So yummy

They recently released a new menu and I was super excited for it but most of the dishes fell short…read moreas well as the customer service! The one standout was their take on a Crunchwrap supreme (their take from Taco Bell and it was good! The chalupas were burnt and hardly had any meat in both of them The chicken was good but when I mentioned that it was overly fried the man behind the counter did not care at all and just looked at me. I just ate the little bit of meat out of it, couldn't even eat the shell! Not worth $8 for one! The other taco was a chicken mole and it wasn't bad but for most street tacos they give you two tortillas to hold it all together. Only one and it all fell apart. Will not be returning!

It was adequate but nothing to write home about…read more Mainly I question the value. We were visiting from DC, which is objectively a more expensive area, and yet the price per taco was higher than individual tacos at our favorite taco chain in DC, especially for the shrimp and, especially curiously, the cauliflower. And then the portions of shrimp and cauliflower in those tacos was pretty disappointing. Also, very fried. Nachos and quesadillas seemed like a better value than tacos so, while my husband got the aforementioned tacos, I got the nachos without any added protein. Much better value - huge portion at a small price. Some odd choices though. There was an appropriate amount of cheese (beer cheese, which seemed appropriate given its location inside a beer hall) but a really small amount of other toppings (beans, corn, pico I think?) relative to the huge amount of raw jalapeño slices. The dish relies really heavily on jalapeño for flavor and freshness, and I like jalapeño, but these woud be more appropriately described as "jalapeño and cheese on chips" than nachos, IMO. If you love raw jalapeño you'll be in heaven but for those who are accustomed to jalapeños being an accent, this is A LOT. It was like the primary ingredient after chips, even above cheese. All in all, it's fine if you're in the area and want tacos or need food with your beer but is it somewhere I would go out of my way to visit? Probably not.
