I wasn't blown away or anything but this a solid brunch spot. The portions are not huge but the food is tasty. Our waitress was excellent.

Our favorite breakfast spot down the shore. Omelettes and egg sandwiches are excellent. Service is great - wait staff always gets our orders right even when we customize and Agnes is always so pleasant when we call in orders. WE LOVE AGNES TOM! My fiance and I eat here almost every weekend for breakfast during the summer. The staff is very nice. The food is typical breakfast food, no bells and whistles (maybe some of the specials). The prices are very reasonable. They have outside seating, which helps when you want to bring your dog. I've been going to Agnes Cafe for the longest time now, so I think that I could give good insight into whether someone or not would want to come and have a meal here. Let's start off with the good stuff, the staff are great. If I could describe the staff and owners with one word it would be: Diligent. They are always professional and are patient with the customer when it comes to their orders. They check every so often but not to the point where it gets annoying... which is a good thing in my opinion. If you ever need anything they are always there to serve you and they do it with a smile. The food is also very good in quality. They are consistent. Which is good with a place like this. If you've only gone once I can honestly say that every time you come in you are getting the best service possible and are getting the same thing every time you order. Some places you never know if you what you get will always be how it's supposed to be but this place is amazing with its consistency, which is why I have come back a plethora of times. As for anything bad... I don't really have much to complain about. Sometimes it gets very crowded and loud, and sometimes it hard for the staff to get to you when you need them but I mean that's what you get when you are a fantastic cafe with a great reputation. I would highly recommend Agnes Cafe, you will be let down. It is by far my favorite place to eat breakfast. Their lunch is good too! read more

Over the last 2 summers, my family and I have rented a house just around the corner from Agnes. Let's just say that this little cafe is one of the main reasons we'll be returning next summer and has contributed to some of our fondest memories. Whether it is the egg and bagel sandwiches, amazing green monster smoothies that actually get my kids to eat spinach and kale, or the delicious omelettes and huge deli sandwiches, the food at Agnes is fresh and made with care. But it is Agnes herself who makes the restaurant so special. She always welcomed us with a smile, no matter how large or complex our order, she remembered us from one season to the next, and she made us feel like we were a part of the community. Horrible service, now that there is more business which we contributed to there is no concern for the customer. Terrible experience. Food came out wrong and wait was more than one hour. Agnes Cafe is a great place to dine and enjoy a morning/afternoon with your family. Agnes, the owner, exemplifies wonderful customer service, along with her well-trained staff. Bagels are delivered fresh around 3:30 -5:30 am (I've seen the truck outside a couple times), and they bake their pies and muffins on a daily bases. They butter and grill the muffins upon request. I bought Agnes's blueberry pie for my husband's "Birthday Cake". It was the most delicious blueberry pie I have ever had! It was 3" deep and had a wonderful graham cracker crust. The blueberries were huge and obviously fresh. If you like blueberry pie you must try Agnes's pie. read more
