I love the fresh seafood options for quick service; it feels like I'm at Chipotle, but for seafood! It's my favorite quick seafood option while working downtown.

I had the 3 Scoop Poke Bowl. Really good stuff. I had it with house sauce mixed with citrus sauce. I also like the kelp noodles with it. Lots of room to sit down. Service is good. Food selection good too. Will have to have the Unagi Musubi next time.

Ordered delivery through Grubhub of large poke bowl, miso & Spam Mushbi...driver gets here with little bag...Ma'am where's the Poke Bowl that's all they gave me...lady you have a long butt receipt what do you mean that's all they gave you...you'll have to follow up with grubhub so irritated...Grubhub is crediting $17 but really All I got was the Spam Mushbi & Miso....Not happy & I liked this place but one star is what you get...common sense isn't common if I hand someone a little bag with a long butt receipt...uh something is missing

Visited here for lunch. Service was pretty quick. I did not know they had chicken lunch option. I tried chicken and it was decent but took awhile as they had to cook food on the grill. I am a huge fan of ahi poki and hope to be back soon!

I love a good poke bowl but unfortunately this wasn't it for me. I got a bowl with two scoops of shrimp and half white rice half kelp noodles for the base. The kelp noodles were definitely not my favorite. This was my first time trying some so I don't have any others to compare them against, but in my opinion they were bitter and weirdly crunchy in some parts. The bowl overall also lacked a lot of flavor. I got their house sauce and a little bit of their spicy creamy sauce, and ended up having to add about three entire packets of soy sauce just so my bowl would have a little bit of flavor. Staff was friendly but I don't think I'll be back. Might have been an off day but there was truly very little I enjoyed about my meal.

Located on a busy corner with limited parking around the back off 7th Avenue. Plenty of indoor seating On today's visit, a holiday, with other restaurants in the area closed, I think several of us found our selves here. My guess since the guys in front of me and the one behind me unsure of how or what to order.. the staff was less then helpful .. they got one word answers and no guidance I get it there's a big sign with steps and all options listed there but when you see people clearly confused you can dumb it down and help them and hopefully that earns you a repeat customer. My meal was easy to order, food was fresh and tasty. Each tray was full and labeled (tuna, spicy tuna, salmon, octopus, etc) plenty of staff, dining area was clean, drink area was stocked. I will definitely be back as this chain always puts out a delicious meal.

Pretty tasty spot for a poke bowl. Fresh ingredients, good selection of toppings to add, friendly staff, fast service. Love that they offer brown rice and kelp noodles. Worth stopping by for a quick and healthy bite.

Large Poke Bowls w/ brown rice + greens. Left has 2 scoops spicy salmon, 1 scoop tuna luau. Right is similar but + kimchi shrimp.

I've been here twice now and love it for a quick to-go pokè meal! The portion sizes are huge and there are so many choices in creating a bowl. A large bowl is three scoops of fish and a regular is two scoops. I like to get the large bowl with half brown or white rice and half greens. For protein, I like to get two scoops of the blazing salmon and spicy tuna or tuna luau with all the toppings and the house sauce snd spicy creamy sauce. Avocado is the only topping that is extra which we don't get and that will be the second thing they ask if you want after choosing your base. I recommend signing up for their rewards program. We ordered two large pokè bowls the first time we went and during our second visit today got $7.50 off our purchase just from our one visit! They have other items aside from pokè bowls too, but the bowls are definitely what we come for.

    Teriyaki Chicken Bowl

The teriyaki chicken bowl is amazing! They have organic greens. Toppings are on point. One of my favorite meals.

Only downside is that…read morefor some reason Apple maps was not accurate to finding the location and parking was a challenge as it is right on Roosevelt Row. However as soon as I found it and immediately after entering Pretty Penny I was transformed to the cutest little restaurant. I was greeted immediately and had made a reservation so even though my friend hadn't arrived yet, they sat me down. They instantly offered water and menus (food and cocktail). I noticed that the menu seemed very small and the dishes were shareable -- I don't eat meat so I was hoping my friend wouldn't mind sticking with fish and seafood (which she didn't). As soon as I got to my table there was the cutest sign that said welcome to Sarah Sherman and guest -- it was such an adorable and personal touch, I loved that! As soon as my friend got there we immediately both ordered the cold brew old fashioned -- we thought about the espresso martini but this just sounded too good to pass up -- and we were not disappointed! This drink was so tasty and strong. We immediately ordered the bread (sourdough boule) to soak up some of the alcohol as well as some oysters and the salsa. The oysters were so well spiced and were absolutely delicious. But the bread, the bread, the bread -- the server mentioned that it took almost 9 months to develop the bread recipe and it served. It was the best bread and butter that I think I have ever had! The salsa was good but probably was my least favorite of everything and it was still super yummy. We then moved on to the octopus tostadas. Sometimes octopus is not my fav -- it can be too chewy but this was so amazing and incredibly flavorful. It was starting to be my favorite dish until we ordered the Hamachi -- OMG!! Talk about a mouth orgasm-- both my friend and I were yummming it up -- but seriously this bite was so complex with different flavors coming up with every chew -- it has coriander candied peanuts, fermented pineapple, avocado, pickled fresno, toasted coconut and aji amarillo yogurt -- The server mentioned that this was the chef's least favorite dish which I totally do not understand because this was off the charts in my book. We also tried the earl gray whiskey sour, which was light and delicious, and ended with the shrimp toast and the espresso martini. By the way the toast on the shrimp toast was like a little fried dough triangle -- sooooo gooood! The martini was good but the cold brew old fashioned really stole the spotlight for me. Other details I loved that just elevated the experience: Purse hook (very important to me), the little trays for your utensils, metal coasters, incredibly attentive servers, fantastic music, great ambiance and the cutest was the penny they put on top of your check. So cute -- was not expecting such an enjoyable all around experience!! Will be back 1000%!!!

To start, the menu is a bit puzzling. It's kind of like a handful of Asian-inspired dishes, a handful of Mexican/South American, and a handful of French or New American. But there's not enough of each to chart a course through one type of cuisine. So, basically you're gonna have a cultural melange meal. Hamachi crudo was really good and fairly unique. The halibut was excellently prepared but not particularly innovative in any way I could tell. Zucchini had goat cheese, which wasn't immediately clear from the description, so I didn't enjoy the rude surprise I got when I took my first bite, and didn't eat anymore, as I really despise the stuff. So that was a waste. Not a dig on the dish, just a personal thing I wish I had more notice of. There were other issues though. The wine list was exceptionally small, They were out of the bread, which is supposedly a must-try. And then we were going to get the steak but the folks next to us advised against it, showing their cut that had zero fat. They said it was leather. On that point, the tables are SUPER CLOSE. Like, a couple inches apart. You hear everything and almost can't avoid getting entwined into others' conversation. We liked the people we were next to, but be aware that it's an unintentionally awkward communal experience that's not well-suited to a date night. The service was pretty good, they put out a nice printed greeting with the reservation name, and give you a sparkling wine toast. But considering the price and overall experience we had, I'd pass and not come back.

The bartenders were knowledgeable enough to suggest excellent off-menu creations and kept the drinks--including the water--flowing with effortless style and hospitality. The wedge salad was crisp and bright, elevated by thoughtful ingredients like jalapeño bacon and balsamic onions. The crab dip was a standout: packed generously with crab and complemented by just the right amount of cheese, finely chopped red onions, and crispy breadcrumbs. We ended the evening with St. George Absinthe, an absolute gem of an offering. Jake, Brad, and Stormy were kind, attentive, and full of great recommendations without ever feeling pushy or intrusive. We did the summer special which was the best special I've ever seen. $60 per person and you get a generous glass of wine, app, entree, and dessert. We both got the curried corn bisque for the app and my oh my I greatly enjoyed this even on a hotter day. The Smokey popcorn was a nice textural addition and the soup was so flavorful, the curry definitely shined through! We also both got the fried chicken for entrees; how could I not order the gluten free fried chicken!? Yes, naturally gluten free! This was outstanding. I'm not sure what the coating is, but it was so so flavorful and so crispy, and the chicken still so juicy. I could eat that on its own. The pepper jems were a cute touch! The mashed potatoes were so creamy. The chicken was placed on top of them so the bottom of the chicken did get soggy so my one suggestion is to place the chicken to the side, but the coating did rub into the potatoes which added some more flavor. The green beans were also tasty, nothing special, but the pistachio butter elevated it (nothing else needed the pistachio butter, not sure what else you use it for). I had a chocolate cake for dessert, the only gluten free dessert they offered me, but I still appreciate the option. It was just okay. The cake was dense and a little dry and didn't scream rich chocolate. There was a chocolate mousse layered in which helped. My boyfriend had some sort of strawberry cake mousse thing with layers of many different things - he thought it okay, I tried the mousse part and really liked it. We had red wine and it was delicious! The service was great, very attentive and they packed some ice in a cup for me because we weren't going home after!
