Disappointed in the meat jun but I'm also a saucy girl, It was plain to me, meat battered in egg. It comes with a side salad and side Mac salad and rice of course. Chicken katsu & Mac salad were good. It's a small space with some indoor seating inside, located in downtown. There's limited street parking. Probably a parking garage nearby. I came here on Sunday afternoon. I got the Shrimp Ceviche from the Happy Hour menu. The portion was big for a Happy hour price $10! All the veggie and the shrimp tasted fresh. The sauce is tomato base, served with tortilla chips. Also got the Ahi Tuna poke bowl. At this location you can build your bowl. At other locations, they don't have this option. All ingredients in the poke were fresh as well. Overall the freshness of the seafood dishes at Chula is always consistent! The service was great as well!

I personally enjoy how each place has some of the same staple menu items and then has different choices available. And honestly there hasn't been an item that I've tried and didn't enjoy. Some are just more delicious than others. Food is always fresh and flavorful! We like to go on Sundays for all day happy hour. I always get the clam chowder, oysters, and whatever else is on happy hour. At this location there is a really delicious $10 happy hour ceviche and $5 beers we enjoyed. I also had the tuna hand roll and side of mac salad (not HH). Everything was tasty. The ceviche has a nice spicy kick and everyone really liked it. Very fresh. Our oysters were cold, fresh, briney and delicious as usual. This new location is bright and spacious with plenty of indoor or patio seating. Heads up, they validate for 2 hours when parking in the Arizona Center garage. Just Google the parking garage so you park in the correct place, and ask them for a validation sticker. I'll definitely be back to try other things at this location. They did only open last week on Thursday (4 days ago) so I would say for being so new everything was running smooth and they did a good job with service, but there were a few instances when it was obvious the staff are still learning and getting used to the menu items (so give them some grace if needed) but overall the food came out freshly prepared and quick! The manager was circulating around the dining room checking on people which is great. He fixed an issue for us when my loyalty points didn't load correctly onto my account when I had entered my phone number to pay at the front counter. My primary suggestion for improvement at this location is to also have mignonette sauce available for the oysters. They didn't have it, so they gave cocktail sauce instead, but it's just not as good. I'm glad to see them continue to thrive and be a great local company while maintaining a high level of quality seafood for the valley. Be aware they close for a while mid afternoon, so check their hours before arriving. The Pad Thai (with chicken) and Fried Rice (with pork) were properly prepared and tasty. Portion sizes were ample and easily shareable. This is not a fast food restaurant (although service was fast). This is a sit down restaurant, so expect commensurate pricing. It was worth asking her to split four people into two bills by order so we did a clean break. She seemed very disinterested in our table from the moment we sat, which she told us it would be tough to move us from an available high top in the sun to a lower table given how many reservations they had...I did not see anyone waiting for a table at any point but that is not relevant to my scoring here. We boxed up our leftovers to give to a homeless person and as soon as we stepped outside of the restaurant, a homeless guy carrying pizza crusts out of the garbage was walking by. We gave him the leftovers and I told my husband I felt guilty for giving him such awful food; not sure what would be worse eating leftover pizza crusts out of the garbage can or that crappy food.
