    Beef Tendon Skewer
    Sandy C.

This is one of those no frills Chinese Skewers place. Bring cash if you are coming, they give you free 1lb crawfish if your party spends more 88 dollars and paying with cash. All the skewers were delicious, especially the pork and the lamb. Perfectly seasoned and cooked to the just right amount. We ordered many other things including octopus, chicken cartilage, and gizzards. Everything tasted good. They also have other entree and sides, including rice noodle soup, grilled cold noodles, and enoki mushroom in tinfoil. Those are great as well but the seasoning is more sweet and sour rather than spicy. The place is rather small so I think that's why there is only one waitress. She is kind but always busy. However, the major ordering is done through the QR code scanned webpage so the ordering shouldn't be an issue. Parking is quite difficult during the rush hour since the parking lot is small too. Overall it's a restaurant that's best for small group of friends gathering on a weekday.

They been here for years. Great flavor. A hidden gem for skewers in San Gabriel. Would definitely come back again and bring family and friends.

Food was so good we were blown away. We ordered a combo for 3 people and it was a perfect amount. We really liked the pork skewers and the honey bread (all the skewers were amazing) the grilled cold noodles were alright. the wall art was super fun Would definitely come again!!!

Very good food and Very good service . Love this family style kitchen. It's my favorite restaurant in Los Angeles on this trip .

Absolutely delicious. Take note of the skewer can!

Despite the other reviews... I'm ranking this as my number one spot for skewers. The staff was very friendly. Ambiance is homely. I haven't been to China yet, but it reminds me of various little diners in Vietnam, and to me, that was more comforting than any fancy or dimly lit diners that are a major thing here in the US. The food was great. We ordered a ton of lamb and intestine. Despite it being a a near 4 hour round trip to get there and back. I find it to be insanely worth it. It's also located less than a mile from the Tesla Superchargers, which is a huge bonus for a quick pitstop for Boba in that parking lot and using the restroom before heading back. If I lived closer, I'd be here once a week. No joke.

Food is pretty good, and it had a deal during the time when I visited. The service is okay. Had ordered a combo and 2 people ended up being full full

Ordered about 50 skewers, half Beef and half Lamb. These were honestly really good, a bit juicy and not drying. But the amount they give you per skewer, literally only half the skewer was filled... On top of that the pieces were so small. I would get if they fill the skewer half way if the pieces were larger but they're so itty bitty which made us feel like we were cheaper out for what we paid. Also got their beef rolls and this was literally so small... Portion was probably for one person, when one order of beef rolls at other place could feed about 3-4 people.

One of my fav things to eat are hot and steamy soup dumplings. Their soup dumplings were some of the juiciest and soupiest I've ever had . Qin's is a famous chain originating from Wuxi, China and this is their first North American location!

I was not impressed. Over-priced in my opinion. The skewers were dry and dead salty, not much flavoring other than salt. Do not recommend. Service was quick and fast. We ordered takeout and the lady was really nice and everything was packed nicely. I just didn't like the food.

Ordered delivery from here since we were craving some good skewers and after looking at some photos and their menu I was highly interested in trying Qin's. We ordered the beef, bacon wrapped mushroom, pork, potato slices, and flour ball skewers. The seasoning is very delicious on these skewer choices. I really liked the beef it was cooked perfectly and the pork and bacon wrapped mushroom skewers were also very delicious I highly recommend trying these. Every meat was juicy and had a nice crispiness on the outside. The potato slices were cooked until soft and also had the right amount of seasoning on them. The prices aren't too bad either and is enough to leave you feeling satisfied. I'll definitely be ordering more from this place in the future.

On my way home from work I decided to stop for some Chinese food. I originally pulled in to try the Chinese restaurant but they serve their food cafeteria style, which is not my thing, so I walked the plaza and entered the door under the 'Lucky Noodle' sign. Wow was I surprised! We have ordered the duck tongue(fabulous!), pork stomach, lamb testicles, and spicy pork rice noodle soup. Initially I lost all ability to breathe when I accidentally vaporized the spicy broth and inhaled. Once I recovered, I tried everything and it was GREAT! I am planning to come back as soon as possible! I look forward to coming back here often!

Hmmm, I LOVE THIS PLACE!! The only way you can get skewers is the Asian street fair, and that doesn't often happen because it's only on the Chinese new year. Chinese new year is once a year, and that's when all the street fair happens. Qin's Garden is where you can find your long lost skewers. The skewers here taste amazing, and they cook for you in the kitchen, so you don't burn yourself or do anything. Qin's Garden doesn't not only serves skewers by crawfish, hotpot, noodles, etc. They have many options for Chinese food. The price here is in the middle range because it depends on what you buy and want to eat. I would recommend getting the beef tongue, lamb skewers, beef skewers, and scallops with vermicelli. Those are my top picks when I come here and eat. The restaurant is pretty small too, and it could only fit like 20-30 people at a time. The parking space here is small, and it's crowded all day long until1 am, so you might need to park at the sg supermarket.

The shrimp in the honey walnut dish were large prawns. They were moist, succulent and tender. It had a rich flavor because of the mayo. The chow mein was full of chicken, shrimp, squid and octopus. Good Alley does the Kaifeng-style guantang bao (soup dumpling) with a thicker wrapper that somehow holds an almost obscene amount of rich, collagen-packed broth inside. The bread is a flaky, thousand-layer pancake -- so much better than the typical baked bun -- and the beef filling is well-seasoned and satisfying. We visited during the dinner rush, so the wait was longer than expected. Fortunately, they have a digital waitlist system that made it easy to track our place in line, and we didn't mind the wait too much. Once seated, my husband and I were pleasantly surprised to get a spacious corner booth despite being a party of two. It was comfortable, gave us plenty of room to enjoy our meal, and, of course, allowed me to take all the food photos I wanted without feeling rushed. We ordered the beef rolls, Wagyu beef Chinese burger, Kurobuta pork and crab soup dumplings, braised beef noodle soup, and Japanese scallops. As a huge scallop fan, I expected the scallops to be my favorite dish of the night, but they ended up being a little too salty for my taste. Everything else was solid. The standout dish for me was the braised beef noodle soup. While I've had stronger versions elsewhere in the SGV, this one was still flavorful, comforting, and the dish I found myself going back to the most throughout the meal. What truly surprised me were the drinks. Unfortunately, I forgot to take photos, but they ended up being one of the highlights of the evening. The menu is extensive, and I could easily see myself returning just to explore more of their drink offerings and try additional dishes. What really elevated Good Alley, for me though, is the service. Despite how busy the restaurant was, the staff remained attentive, friendly, and efficient. Our food arrived surprisingly quickly, and we never felt overlooked. Great customer service can make a good meal even better, and that's what stood out to me most about this experience. Overall, Good Alley offers a comfortable dining experience, a large menu with plenty to explore, and service that goes above and beyond. I'll definitely be back to try more of what they have to offer. :)
