I found this business on Yelp and decided to call because my A/C unit wasn't blowing cold air. I took a guess it was a capacitor and I was right. I called the business and got a recording. The recording said I would get a call within 10 minutes. I thought to myself, yeah right, can't wait to see how long I get a call back, if I get a call at all. To my amazement I got a call before the 10 min timeframe. Here's The cool part -- he and his partner were just finishing a job about 1/2 mile from me and arrive literally 5 minutes after I hung up! They were at my house for no longer than 20 minutes and replaced the capacitor, and added 2 lbs of Freon. Here's the cooler part --I am typing this to you from my very cool Family room on the hottest day of the year!! Found them on-line when our brand new heater wouldn't kick on. They squeezed us in becuase they figured it was something quick instead of having to wait a week. I finally have time to sit down and take the time to write a review of the service from Jaymon. I've been busy with moving but had time now to tell everyone about the service received last weekend. What can I say, other than outstanding service!!!!!!! Professional and friendly. I was packing up and moving and needed to have the AC unit serviced before selling my house. I knew it was low on freon. Jaymon checked and it was empty. He was able to clean the coils, change the air filter, refill about 5ibs of freon. Tested it, and it's super cold in the house. I highly recommend calling this company! Last time that we had an issue with our air conditioner, we called a Honeys air. They charged quite a bit to tell us they want to replace it with a new one. They did nothing, and turned out it only needed freon at that time. This time the AC just stopped putting out cool air, so we put off calling for a few weeks, thinking it would cost a bunch of money. We decided to try AIR MERGENCY. They only charged $40 to check it. They came the next day, and it only cost $205 in total!!! Very nice and professional! Said our air conditioner was in great shape! In August 2014 I had another repair company here (American Comfort). Long story short, they charged $238, never finish filling the unit with Freon because there was something wrong with their meter or something, wouldn't set foot upstairs, and didn't tell me about Freon Stop Leak, so when the Air Conditioner here stopped cooling again, already, I called AIRMERGENCY... The AIRMERGENCY guys are the nicest, most professional, and most knowledgable on Air Conditioning I have ever seen. They inspected the whole system, including the attic. They put 4 pounds of Freon and Stop Leak in. And the Total repair bill was $370 ($55 x 4 pounds for the Freon, and $150 for the Stop Leak and NO Labor Charge, or Service Call Charge). And the Freon is under WARRANTY so that if it ever leaks again, we will not have to pay for any more Freon. THIS IS A REAL REVIEW FROM A REAL CUSTOMER. Our AC went out during a brutal heat wave. 3 other AC companies told us our compressor needed to be replaced and gave us bids as high as $5,000. Jaymon responded right away (most wanted us to wait a few day or weeks, even). He slowed things down and actually took a look at what was wrong (another company wanted to quote us over the phone). 1 new capacitor and a few tightened wires and we have a running AC for under $300. Amazing Experience with Jaymon and his team!!! When our A/C stopped working on a day with temps over 100 degrees we feared the worst. I called and left a message with Airmergency and within 10 minutes I received a return call and they were able to schedule an appointment the same day. Heater started making funny noises last week and I am having company over for Thanksgiving so we looked on yelp and saw that these guys had all positive reviews so we gave them a try. They showed up within 2hours the same day and fixed the funny noise. They only charged me $40 for the whole service. Only $50 for seasonal maintenance. Straight forward, not pushy sales people. I called and the support representative was awesome she took all our information down and the history of the unit. Jaymon went out to our rental property he called me and told me what it needed and gave me an estimate. I had a previous company out to the rental property 1 month prior and they charge us $430.00 and still had issues. Jaymon told me that the previous company didn't put the valves on and our thermostat had to be changed since it wasn't reading anything. Watch out for this guy, if your expecting a service tech, be warned he is a salesman not a service tech. Doubt that he really knows what he is doing- that is why he is always trying to sell you a unit instead of fixing it. These guys are the BEST, hands down! They are the first a/c guys I actually TRUSTED! It seems in this business that a good HONEST a/c professional is hard to find. Well, these guys are the real deal: as honest as they come, friendly and polite from the receptionist to the owner to the a/c tech. I thought I would have to pay big money for an entire new system, but Jaymon (the owner, no less!) came out right away and on time, plugged a few wires on a gadget to my heater/a/c that hadn't worked in over 3 yrs. (in Modesto summer heat), popped up into the attic, and knew just what was wrong. He ordered two parts, they came in on Friday, Joshua (also polite, hardworking, and with excellent service) came out and installed them that day in an hour. For the first time in 3 yrs., we felt the cool breeze of a/c again!! What a thrill that was!! It's been over 3 wks. since he's been here and no problems with it at all. Jaymon explained to us why it stopped AND how to avoid that from happening again. Wow! He was spot on! It seems that the weeds would get into the condenser (outside), clogging it and making that stop/slow and quit circulating air, burning out the motor still pumping away in our attic, freezing up the lines, and the whole thing would stop. Unscrupulous a/c guys in the past would tell us to "let it thaw out", forcing us to struggle along in the heat for days. Once those lines were thawed out and all the ice gone, they'd fix the part in the attic (naturally over-charging us horribly!), bang up my walls with their ladders, never once telling us how important a clean and weed-free condenser was. Not the case with Jaymon and the other Airmergency PROFESSIONALS. Their excellent and patient advice was well worth the price we paid, but knowing we will face this summer with heavenly coolness in the afternoon, thanks to Airmergency, is worth so much more! The entire job only cost me $670 out the door! Years ago, another company (sent to me by Home Depot) quoted me $9000.00 for an entire new system including new ducts (for a 13 yr. old home??) AND another hole punched in my hallway for a SECOND filter!! Give me a break! We finally gave up until my son said, "Why don't you try finding someone on YELP?" I'm so glad I did! Try Airmergency! I was having so many issues getting my heater to work and this crazy weather going from hot to cold has been driving me insane! I could only get my heater to kick on for a few minutes at a time and it would never kick back on during the night, leaving me to wake up freezing in the dead of night.
