My first time trying drinks from Aiyu Cha so you know I had to order one of their more popular drinks! I usually don't lean towards these types of drinks but I got the Lava Green Thai Tea because it was on their top 10 menu. The drink was really good! It had a good balance of tea flavor and the sweetness was perfect. I can't really say the same about the boba though. I'm not sure if it was the last of a batch or what but my boba seemed a little overcooked and some of it was mush at the bottom of my cup. I'm sure it just happened to be at the time that I went though because I would definitely want to come back some time!

I stumbled upon Aiyu Cha for some pick me up on a Saturday afternoon. The ambiance felt chill with some nostalgic items on display. I ordered a Strawberry Yakult Tea with Aiyu Jelly. (Of course I wanted to try their aiyu jelly as they're living up to their name). My order was ready within 5 minutes. I really like the natural Strawberry flavor, paired with a slice of strawberry and the chunks of chewy aiyu jelly. Adding $1.10 for toppings seemed a bit pricey compared to other boba shops. The taste was almost identical to Ding Tea and Yifang (which is a compliment) because it the flavors were natural and authentic. Next time, I will opt to try their milk teas, Twilight Taro milk and slushies with soy milk. Thankfully, they offer dairy alternatives such as soy and oat milk (for $1 more). I'll for sure be back again at Aiyu Cha on my next visits in the OC.

Needs some sugar and caffeine for pick up. Was in the plaza and so this place so checked it out. Easy parking since big parking lot. Nice abs clean store, easy to read menu with plenty options, well displaced for what availability. Great service (new staff) and not bad for turned around since she was learning on how to make the drink. You got options on level of sweet, and so forth. The drink is great, perfectly hitted the sport. Perfect on making the good drinks.

Rose green milk tea, 75% (regular) sweet = too candy-like and tasted heavily of creamer
    Laura H.

Rose green milk tea at regular sweet (75%) less ice was ok, it kinda just tasted like a milk candy. It tasted heavily of creamer, and I wished I had gotten 50% sweet just so I can get more tea coming through each sip. I did taste a bit of a floral flavor, but it's too subtle when the sweetness drowns it out. Maybe it would taste light and refreshing at the lowest level of sweetness, but I don't think I'd come back to experiment with that, or even to try other drinks. I ordered at a kiosk, but you can also order with the barista at the register. My drink took some time to come out, but there were a few people ahead of me, and there was only one guy doing everything. He was flying at 100mph taking orders, making drinks, and checking up on things, going through the motions like a robot haha. I was hoping he washed his hands in-between tasks, cuz I didn't see him wear gloves. If I'm unsure or uncomfortable about it, it's another reason why I wouldn't come back. Inside has some chairs, and the shop is located at the Pavilions Place plaza. Parking is free, and the renovations to the lot made it much better to navigate around there.

Amazing little small Boba spot. I decided to give it a try for a nice cold boba tea instead of Starbucks full of sugar next door. I recommend it! It allows you to choose your own choice of sugar level on drinks . The menu doesn't show pictures but the self order kiosk does show all variety of photos of each drink. Love it !

Tried the Crème Brûlée Thai Tea at Aiyu Cha this time and it was so smooth and delicious! Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of their top 10 drinks listed on the screen. You can fully customize the sweetness and ice level, and they offer lots of topping options ranging from $1.10 to $2. Staff were friendly. Fun fact I learned from its website that the oolong and tieguanyin teas are sourced from Taiwan, and the purple yam comes from Hawaii. Definitely will come back! Nice boba place to drop by after shopping! We got the strawberry snow with Sakura boba. The Sakura boba complimented the snow well, and was a cute color too! Service is quick and nice. There's a little bit of seating, but not really any tables.

Kinda ridiculous ngl. I totally get lowering the volume when ordering no ice, but this is (at most) 75% full including boba. Tastes good tho

Steep Thoughts: Florence's Quest for (Her) Perfect Black Milk Tea Black milk tea: 1.5/2. I got the black milk tea, 50% sweet. This milk tea is pretty standard but in a good way. The drink is smooth, creamy, and slightly caramel-y with a nice black tea flavor. Other drinks: 1/1. A mix of fresh teas, milk teas, fruit teas, slushies, and even coffee drinks. The milk teas are made with non-dairy creamer. Ambiance: 0.5/1. Cute decor with some plants and display cases. Limited seating, mainly to wait for drinks. Not really a place for getting work done. Service: 1/1. Order at the counter. There is a rewards system through Fivestars. Drinks come out quickly. Total: 4/5

Lava green thai tea - ordered 50% sweetened but drink was still very sweet, green thai tea was strong but drink was definitely on the watery side. Service was friendly and super quick. Easy parking. Shop with general seating for waiting for drink but didn't see tables set up.

Craved milk tea and decided to try a new place. The service is super friendly. The manager Helena was so nice. We ordered the matcha milk tea and tiramisu milk tea. For the matcha, we did 75% sweetness but it was so sweet and the manager very kindly remade it. The inside is cute and they also sell macaron ice cream.

I ordered a boba drink at 25% sweetness, but it still came out extremely sweet. I'm very sensitive to sweetness, and even my kids -- who usually love sweet drinks -- thought it was overly sweet. I hadn't been back in a while because of the inconsistency with sweetness levels, and I decided to give it another try. Unfortunately, it was disappointing again.

However, I am assuming that the name was just replaced with their brown sugar boba creme brulee milk which I did try before but it was more watered down than I remember. If you like texture and chewing on something while drinking on a sweet and tart drink, then I would definitely recommend this! As for the blueberry yogurt mochi milk. It was good, but basically just tasted like yoplait blueberry yogurt. There wasn't anything that stood out about this drink. Because it had the name mochi in it, I assumed that there would be more mochi in the drink, but instead it was mostly just blueberry yogurt smoothie. In addition, for the purple rice yogurt, in the description, it mentioned smoothie, but in the blueberry yogurt drink, it did not have any mention of smoothie so I assumed it was just blueberry milk with mochi. However, it is in fact a smoothie. Lastly, I wish they had an option for 70% sugar as opposed to just 100% 50% 25% and 0% sugar level.
