Four families passed the phone around poolside at the Embassy Suites and placed four separate delivery orders. This is year 10 of our annual golf trip to Myrtle Beach - most of us from NY, NJ and CT so you know, that we know, good pizza. Last year we checked this place out because the reviews were good and frankly, we nearly crossed pizza off our list because everyplace else just didn't stack up. So we tried, and they succeeded - ordered about 8 pies, 8 subs, a bunch of salads and several appetizers - everything was very good. The buffalo chicken sub was delicious but we were really disappointed in the cheese pizza. It looked like it had sat under a heat lamp for an extended period of time and by the time it was delivered, it wasn't hot and the cheese had settled and seemed dry and delivered room temperature at best. Just picked up dinner from AJs for a family of five. Two did make your own pizza, two got sandwiches and I did Brooke's Pimento pizza. The pimento pizza was a wonderful combo of pimento, mozzarella, red pepper, spinach and bacon. The order was wrong on the girls sandwiches which we returned. They were promptly corrected, comp'd and they gave us some dessert. For a vacationing family this is a great place for take out. You can get the basics or try something new. Pizza came ridiculously quick, though our hotel was only down the block. Pizza was just okay, reminds us of the floppy ninja turtles pizza. I've only had the Hawaiian pizza here and it's really good. If you like Ultimate California pizza, it's like that but with fresher ingredients. Buffalo chicken dip is amazing! Best pizza delivery for the golden mile. We pretty much do delivery here but with Meat-eaters, vegetarians and Mediterranean (white pizza) fans we've had a lot of different combinations. The portions are huge, the ingredients are great and in a beach town where a lot places are known to skimp on the flavor and bulk up the price, AJ's is a great exception. read more

Extremely average pizza. Crust is too soft and chewy but toppings were really good. Cooked perfectly and looked great but was some what disappointed because of the crust. Delivery service was prompt and courteous. It's worth it if you don't want to go out but I would try other places first. read more

We are in town for a baseball tournament and we ordered dinner from AJ's for the entire team and our huge baseball family. The young man that took our order was extremely professional and patient, even though we changed our order 10 times as people changed their minds or made additions. He helped us get the best deal for our money, suggesting specials AJ's had at the time. The food arrived quickly to our hotel room (not the lobby, which was so convenient given the amount of food and lack of hassle for us), and the very large and complicated order was perfect. One baseball member has life-threatening allergies, and the AJ's staff had marked "caution-allergies--use a clean blade when cutting" on the ticket. Finally, the food was fantastic. The pizza was great, and the wings were even better. They took time to package every order with care, too. The wings were separated with foil to keep the extra sauce close to the wings. And we ordered A Lot Of Wings. We come here every year, and AJ's is a new tradition for us. Thank you! read more
