YUMMO!! we ordered a personal size pizza with mushrooms and a personal size pizza with pepperoni and extra sauce. We've never been here and wanted to do a comparison to see if they were as good as people say they were and they were amazing. Sorry, I only got the one picture no picture of the mushroom pizza. There were lots of mushrooms on it and it was yummy. We were all starving lol We will return in the future it was outstanding!!

Our first night in Myrtle Beach and we got to our condo fairly late. So we made it a pizza night. After looking at a few handy dandy Yelp review, we landed on AJ's. We ordered via phone for pickup. Everything was ready upon arrival. Always a massive plus. The entire staff was friendly and very helpful. Great vibe all around. We ordered a Margherita pie and a Buffalo Chicken pie. And a pesto chicken wrap. Being from NJ and a total pizza snob, I jumped in with an open mind. The Margherita was done with a S.C. flair. Not exactly the correct type of tomatoes, but the tomatoes they used were VERY fresh and it worked. Had a background kick off garlic and a buttery flavored crust. The Buffalo Chicken, I enjoyed a little more. They added onions and pieces of celery, which I think was a PHENOMENAL touch. If they did a smirk of ranch, this would've been solid Pesto chicken wrap was a solid alternative. Chicken was tender. The pesto sauce was average. All in all, this is a decent, little Pizzeria within Myrtle Beach. We're here for a tournament at Ripken and we've found that most places close very early. So this is a good option if you have an evening game.

Fresh and hot! When looking for pizza for my family, it has to be good because we compare pizza chains and we have our favorites. I asked the hotel receptionist to suggest a place to buy pizza and she suggested AJ's. She was spot on! Fresh ingredients and lots of yummy deliciousness. I totally recommend AJ's Pizza! read more

Here on vacation and wanted a pizza night. A lot of coupons hag been shoved under our hotel door throughout the week, and so I got on here to check their reviews. None of them had good reviews so I just looked up delivery. I saw that A.J's had good reviews so we tried them. So glad we did! !!! The crust was great, the toppings numerous! We got the meatlovers pizza. It was here in about 30 minutes even though they said 45. Perfectly cooked, perfect pizza! We leave Monday afternoon and if they are open we are getting one for the road! read more

Had the meatlover pizza, family size house salad, and the Cheddar bread. Was delivered on a Saturday night at 9:00 in a blinding rain storm and still showed up in 45 minutes. The pizza was excellent, loved the sauce and cheese. Would definitely recommended this place. read more

Ordered delivery and the delivery man actually came up to the room instead of just calling me from the lobby....big plus. The pizza was good and the desserts were ok (Sara Lee prepackaged single pies). Total with tip came to nearly $35 for a large meat lovers and two dessert pie slices. A little pricey, but seeing as how I didn't have to leave my room, it was worth it. read more

The pizza and the subs were no better than 7 /11 not to be rude the cheesesteaks was made with steakums and the pizza had no sauce at all and the taste of the pizza was mediocre at best I do not like to give bad review but I just want people to know what they're getting and hopefully the place can get better. read more

We ordered A LOT of food. 6 pizzas simply because we have multiple food allergies. Gluten free one was exceptionally tasty and would highly recommend to others needing GF. All liked the pizzas and I heard several rave reviews about the chicken wings, extremely meaty and tasty. We picked up and brought back to our place. Order was ready on time and all pizzas made correctly. Highly recommend to others looking for a takeout pizza/wings place. read more

Ordered from here while on a mini vacation with the family. We ordered delivery. They came within the time they said they would. I ordered a cheesesteak, hubby and kids had pizza. My cheesesteak was bland, not flavorful at all. I think the kids and hubby enjoyed the pizza as no one complained so that's the reason for the three stars. read more

We ordered from Aj's because we just did not feel like leaving our hotel room one evening. HOT pizza arrived. Actual HOT pizza - like the cheese was still melty. It was fantastic (bread sticks were great too!) and such a pleasant surprise. Delivery driver was very nice and clean cut. We will definitely be keeping this one in our cell phones for the next time we are in Myrtle Beach. read more

Pizza is delicious. Friendly staff. Ordered 3 pies got back to the condo and one pizza was wrong. I called and they immediately rectified the situation and delivered another pure the way it was ordered in a fast friendly way. Plus the girl at the counter was the same one that delivered and she was cute. read more

AJ's is awesome! There aren't enough stars here to rate them properly. I have had pizza, wings, tried several of their pasta dishes and the chef salad ( its huge) and everything was amazing. I have eaten with them at least twice a week for the last month (when I discovered them). The customer service is excellent and they deliver, what more can you ask for. I'm local and this is by far the best pizza place at the beach! read more

A classic hole in the wall gem! Pizza is fantastic! And the service was great - Arionna took really good care of us. We ate in, although there are only 2 tables in the entire restaurant. This is hands down the best veggie pizza I have ever had. I am lactose intolerant so I ordered my half of pizza without cheese. The bread was honey wheat, which I really enjoyed. The woman who helped my family and took our order was the owners daughter and had wonderful customer service skills! She was extremely polite and accommodating. AJ's pizza is a pick-up and delivery only place, however no one was in the store when we got there so she helped us put the tables together so we could dine in! I would recommend this place to all my family and friends! Definitely highlight of my trip to Myrtle Beach! read more

Was very impressed. We had an awful experience with a different pizza place last year. It took two hours before we got our pizza and they did not apologize. AJ was different. They had very fast delivery (within 20 minutes ) The food was hot and very good. I would definitely recommend AJ pizza! read more

After reading reviews was expecting an awesome pizza, not the he case. I own a restaurant n pizza shop from where I live and the pizza crust was well done and they used canned mushrooms and I would not order again we had dominos couple nites before and it was way better and not trying to bash them just being honest that's why I did 3 stars not 1 and cheddar bread was not worth eating maybe better fresh but tasted like it was made day before read more

Focaccia sandwiches are on point, I tried the Cuban which was made with chicken and ham instead of pork but it was very good chicken so no problem with the substitution. And that Focaccia bread? Near best bread of any kind ever definitely best Focaccia I have ever had. I also got a cheesy cheese pizza with Canadian bacon on it and those 5 cheeses are good, sauce good, crust crispy perfection on outside , soft amazingness on the inside. Definitely reccomend getting one 2 liter instead of 20oz bottles, one 2liter is $2.75 and one 20oz is $1.99. I made mistake of getting 2 20oz bottles for 4 bucks, oh well that will teach me to read menu more thoroughly. Also worth noting there are only 6 chairs in the whole place so if you want to sit and eat come at an off time, I got here at 1pm ish on a Saturday and nothing was going on. read more

Our order was, unfortunately, delayed. However, the driver was very apologetic and followed up with a phone call to make sure we were happy with our meal. We also received a call from the restaurant to make sure we were satisfied with our order. The food was very good and still arrived hot. Good customer service is hard to find and I commend AJ's for putting the customer first. read more

We were traveling and saw all the favorable reviews, so we decided to give AJ's a try. All I can say is people must have a pretty low standard for pizza in Myrtle Beach. There was nothing wrong with it, nor was there anything right. On par with Little Caesar's and much less quality than you'd expect from an independent parlor. It was some blobs of ricotta, didn't look like any mozzarella and then of course the crust. You'll see the pic. They said it was awful. Then my son in law ordered a Bloody Mary which he waited and waited for. The bartender was busy cleaning glasses. The waiter had to tell the bartender... let's go. The waiter knew they were unhappy and they decided not to order anything else. The waiter did give them a free cannoli which they enjoyed. Makes me super hesitant to go back myself. I absolutely loved the place the times I've gone and always recommend it to other people. Please, please tell me this was just a really bad night?! The only reason they got a 2 star is for the fact my daughter said the waiter seemed to have felt bad.

This is THE pizza spot in Myrtle Beach. We picked up dinner from here twice over the past 2 weeks. Large supreme and large pepperoni and wings- loved the Thai chili and mild wings! Thin crust but not too thin and perfectly crispy with the right amount of toppings, not even that oily or greasy my 6 year old loves AJ's! Very friendly young ladies on the phone and MOST IMPORTANTLY they are taking COVID precautions- everyone wearing masks -they brought the pizzas out put them in the trunk and treated me with a true sense of gratitude and appreciation- thanks for that! (Except for AJs we had to stick to corporate type restaurants like Carrabas and Bonefish as hardly any local businesses take the pandemic seriously down here!) Anytime we come back to Myrtle Beach we will look forward to pizza and wings from AJ's! read more

I think I have found my true pizza love...and the wings....wow. I have had wings from many a place but never as perfectly cooked as these. The pizza dough is cooked perfectly!
