Went in this morning the cook was very rude not nice at all I said good morning and all he did was go on his headset assuming I was wrong I went outside and saw that the drive thru was open 24 hours so I went back into ask what time the inside opened up the same cook was there and I asked are you open ? He got back on his headset and quickly said yea but was still very rude another guy came up with glasses and blue shirt I told him that the cook was rude as heck he didn't even seem to care I said it again and just walked out I have been here before with an older lady at night she was very sweet but after this I will not be back. My favorite after work place to get food ! It's so convenient because it's off the freeway on my way home and the food is so good !! I get the Cali burrito (cypress) and red hot sauce . And the people who are working, the drive-through have always been in good spirits. No matter what time I go in to grab a burrito to go, it's never done me wrong. actually really good birria tacos for the price! the meat is always super tender, juicy and they do not skimp on the cheese for the quesabirria at all. every single time i order they always follow through on the accommodations i have. the veggies are always freshly cut and i recommend asking for their pickled onions, they are so good (i suspect they're the costco brand but idk they are so yummy and crunchy) now i would say that every single time i ordered the birria there is always bones. me personally i don't really mind but i would tell others to be mindful not to hurt their teeth, it's almost a 1/3 chance every time that ill have a bone in my mouth. but it's so good and priced reasonably i can't even complain! also their drive thru worker is very kind!! read more

For a large chain of mostly mediocre food (they have at least 5 spins on the name in the region), I always wonder why they're so insistent on pushing their pico de gallo as a catch-all topping and filler? Across town, at another location, I once got a nachos that failed to have melted cheese and was smothered in spoiled pico de gallo. Anyhow, I hoped for a better outcome one day not long ago at this newer location just off the 60E Freeway. I like the huge tortillas they use for the burritos, but I felt a little let down by the lack of filler in the carne asada I ordered. The meat was a bit tough, cool, and really didn't have any dominant flavors. The hot sauces are now available in sealed packaging, which is pretty cool. Again, however, I wasn't wowed by either the red or Verde. Perhaps I should have asked if they could add rice and beans? I went through the drive-thru to order for someone else so as I'm trying to make sure I had the order correct, the woman who was taking the order was rushing me. There were no other cars behind me the entire time. So I ask her to please hold on. She replies "I'll just see you at the window." I asked her to change the drink option for 1 out of the 2 drinks and she said okay. When I get to the window to pay, she didn't even charge me for the second drink nor did she include it in my order. I didn't get the correct size, and she was completed rude. Also how is someone allowed to work around food with super long fake nails. On the regular size so you may not want to share this one. Also tried their rolled tacos nice and crisp hidden under the generous topping of cheese that slightly melts as it sits. Salsa bar with individual green and red sauces. And pickled carrot jalapeño mix along with limes and cilantro onion. All kept nice and fresh on a bed of ice. Service was great! Received our food quickly and everything tasted so fresh. Inside tables, soda fountain, nice and clean. Well maintained. Kitchen was open and looked well organized and also very clean. It's a pretty popular place as the line started forming once we were heading out. Conveniently located right off the 60 fwy Main st. Exit. The menudo is very good and possibly the best in riverside its $10 per large bowl , and OMG the menudo is available everyday !!! Its soupnis just right and the tripe is tender, highlyvrecommend. Popped in and ordered the mandatory bean and cheese burrito. I always try out a bean and cheese before I eat anything else, it kinda gauges how the other food is there. Anyways it's $5 and some change, not bad! It was heavy and packed! They give you little green and red sauce packets on the side. I didn't really care for the green, I didn't try the red. Super Fries are AMAZING. The carne asada is bomb. Beans, rice, and carnitas are decent. Not great but not bad. Most of the stuff I've tried here is pretty good overall, but definitely the Super Fries with the carne asada are the best thing I've had. 5 stars for those. However... the fish taco is total garbage. The shell is a good size, but the fish inside is a glorified fish stick. Oily and thin, with not much meat. It was way overloaded with cabbage and ESPECIALLY overloaded with pico de gallo.... Which was 90% onions with a hint of tomato and cilantro. I have an onion intolerance but I hate ordering things "special" so I would usually just scrape it off to not make things harder on the cooks. But there were SO MANY ONIONS I ended up just dumping my entire set of toppings off and scraping the fish so I didn't have to waste time picking through them all. I'm sharing a pic of both the fish and the "pile" of onions I first tried to pick out/scrape off. I don't know anyone who actually wants that many onions on their taco, even if they don't have an intolerance like me. I think overall there are one or two EXCELLENT options here, plenty of decent options, and at least one really terrible option, so I'm rating it 3 stars overall. read more

The food is pretty good, portion sizes are great, everything comes with way too much lettuce guacamole and pico de Gallo though, always turns into a bad salad at the end of the meal even when having a bit with every bite. My biggest complaint though is how they apparently don't know what fajitas are and I frequently am given salsa Verde when asking for salsa roja and vice versa. However my quesadilla & fries that I ordered was not good at all I'm sorry.. The chicken pieces were giant chunks, it was falling apart, I could not bite into the quesadilla without it falling a part. I cannot believe there is an Albertaco's in Riverside! We always make a drive out to Cypress whenever we crave it, but now we can have it without the drive. The cashier is awesome!
