Came here with a friend after a late show on Friday and sat at the bar. The cocktails were really fun and delicious and the bar is beautiful with a good atmosphere. Service was a little slow, but it was busy and nearing the end of the night, so it was the breakdown and cutting of staff. Everything was great until the end of the night. We were told it was last call and we declined to order a round and just asked for the check. My friend was done and I had a little less than half my pint left, so we were good. We get the check, I pay, and my friend leaves to go to the bathroom. Security comes up and tells me that we have "ten minutes to get out" Now I understand it is the end of the night, but just the way this was handled felt very off putting. There were still tables sitting and a healthy number of people at the bar. We weren't just camping at the bar until everyone left. We were wrapping it up by taking turns going to the bathroom and me finishing my drink. This all transpired within a 10 min window of time from last call to check to "get out", so I wonder what would have happened if we had gotten another round. It just a left a bad feeling like we were doing something wrong and was a buzzkill for what was a chill fun night for us. I think I also just find this upsetting bc I have gone to its sister restaurant The Penrose and have never had a bad experience. So overall the drinks are great. Bar really nice. Just be aware the staff might not make this the best experience and don't stay too late. read more

Service was attentive. Great ambiance. We did bottomless brunch drinks for 25$ for 90 minutes. Worth the deal because one mimosa is $17. Food was great. I popped in for a quick drink to kill time before a business dinner. I tried to order the Lycheetini with vodka instead of gin, but I was told it was "already batched." Have been here a few times for bottomless brunch. When they had the espresso martinis it was great. Food is okay, but we were really going for the martinis. I booked my birthday there this upcoming weekend for that reason and even checked yelp for reviews making sure martinis were still bottomless. I wanted to triple check and emailed the owner. He said I wasn't supposed to have gotten bottomless espresso martinis in the past, but I showed him we had a pulsd deal and, where he had commented on someone's else's post about bottomless martinis. He claimed this is no longer a deal they are offering. While I respect the right to change your deals, I am a returning customer and asked to have an exception since I have had this booked for a while and am bringing a lot of people. He said no, so I cancelled the reservation. It's a shame since I go to brunch A LOT and would have come time after time. If this is how they treat repeat customers, I will not be returning. read more

My mom booked last minute tickets to the Christmas Spectacular show at Radio City Music Hall the weekend before Christmas. We wanted to grab a late lunch before the show and I was worried there would not be any reservations available anywhere. But luckily Albert's was in the perfect location for our plans and had tables available for late afternoon. The vibes are super relaxed so you almost forget you're in the heart of NYC. What a gorgeous bar! When I walked in, I did not expect the central bar space to be so beautiful. I was meeting up with friends and I'm glad they chose this place. The drink menu is expansive with a ton of craft cocktails. I started out with a espresso martini because I needed a pick me up. It was very well made. Colleague selected Albert's for an after work happy hour. I tried the dirty pickle martini (cause, why not?) and the lychee martini (perfection). Since we were a large group, we were able to try all of the appetizers. Everything came out quickly and so tasty! Anything on the menu would be a good pick - I loved the shishito peppers, cauliflower, and arancini. The service was fantastic considering we had 15 people in our party and it was game three of the World Series. Would definitely visit Albert's again next time I'm in the city. read more

Absolutely hands down one of the best places in town.. spectacular setting, great food, and service that is personalized but not overbearing. Let's start with literally the best chicken sandwich I've ever had... you may think it's just a chicken sandwich how great can it be? Well give it a shot, I promise you that by three bites in you'll know what I'm talking about as all the flavors come together. Sublime. Excellent beer on tap choices as well, not just your run of the mill this and that but for a person for a more discerning palate there is a Kolsch for example, not often seen but for those of us who know our beer this is a solid selection that only makes your day get a little brighter. Looking for live jazz this is the place to come to Stopped in at 2 for a bite to eat and at 3 the music started. Very nice surprise since we weren't expecting it The Mac and cheese we ordered before the kitchen closed at 3 for an 1/2 hour. Jennifer the event coordinator was incredibly helpful and accommodating to pull together our event and food/drink package on very short notice. We arrived to find our reserved space roped off VIP-style with servers ready to rock. Came here for a couple drinks with an old friend, and was really impressed with the whole experience. It's a beautiful space and everyone from the hostess to the server to one of the owners who happened to be sitting beside us at the bar was super nice and helpful. Cocktails were well made and came out quickly, we tried a couple appetizers and were happy with both, and prices were not outrageous for the neighborhood. I think they've really got the formula figured out. It's not quite as glamorous as the Campbell, for example, but prices are more reasonable and the vibe is upscale without being pretentious.
