Went to the Campus and 19th store today. It's unfortunate the current global situation regarding the pandemic of CV-19 has many apprehensive about leaving their homes in search of the essentials. While there, a checkout person (Chakee) was visibly short with me as she singled me out from the rest of the people in line. It was clear she was having an emotionally bad day as she raised her voice to address me when explaining newly implemented guidelines within the store. It is clear this employee is either new to the job and cannot contain herself from taking it out on us customers who may not be informed of the latest updates to the store guidelines OR this employee has very little to no training on customer service as she miserably expressed herself and lack of customer service skills by taking it out on the customer and openly threatening demeanor towards us customers. Effective today, we will no longer be doing business with Albertsons ( as we do 3 to 4 times a week ) based on my bad experience and other yelp reviews on this site. I will also ensure to inform higher management and corporate of this bad employee's practices. read more

Management please address your overly aggressive clerk. I believe his name is Mike. He's never helpful and never nice. It must feel awful for the other employees. You can see it! This last time was the last straw. I had never used the app before but noticed the sirloins were on sale so the nice deli clerk told me it should be easy. So as I was shopping I went and located other possible coupon items on the app. As I get to the register, I already don't want to go in his lane but had kids with me so they chose the course. I asked if he could show me where the barcode was for him to scan and he was like nope its a whole thing and in your emails. Super rude and unwilling! So I almost paid regular price at $30 or something! Luckily the next clerk over assisted me with no problem at all while he scanned my items. She was so patient and we were done in a matter of a minute. So here's this clerk who you can barely ask anything or he flips! I'm just done! This is by far the worst supermarket in Upland. If you can, go somewhere else. They consistently sell old, rotten produce and only mark it on sale if it is starting to go bad or rot. I spoke to their produce manager about this and instead of addressing my comment he proceeded to tell me that his department sells the most produce compared to all other Albertsons in the area. Same with their meats - they only mark a sale if you have to use or freeze it within one day. I was just there yesterday and bought several peaches and I cut all of them open this morning and they were all rotten - total waste of money. And they are the most expensive market out here. I only shopped here for convenience because it is so close, but no more. I will no longer be shopping here. read more

Love this Albertsons. Bigger than most stores, has a great variety of produce, meat, seafood. The meat department is one of the best I have seen. Offers a lot of variety. Carries grass fed beef, which is very good. Offers organic choices and even non meat plant based stuff. Excellent wine and liquor selection. Carries great selection of higher end wines and liquor. Shout-out to the butchers! I ordered 18 half pound filet mignon steaks for a dinner party I was hosting. The steaks were brought up to room temp and then grilled on a gas BBQ with Montreal Steak Seasoning. The guests RAVED about the quality of the meat and wanted to know which butcher shop I had used. Everyone was amazed when I shared the beef was from Albertsons. Great job Meat Department! I'll be back, so keep up the good work! read more

I am very disappointed in this Albertsons. I shop here frequently even though they are higher priced than vons and stater bros. But after another horrible experience this will be my last visit. The butcher here for the third time, continues to show a horriible atyitude and is extremely rude. I even talked to two other wmployees about this incidant and was told oh nothing we can do. Are you setious, your conworker is being rude, disgusting and you are telling me there is noone we can speak to to resolve this. After this last experience, i will not return to this location. I guess the couple hundred bucks a week i spend here doesn't matter. Oh well lesson learned. read more

Cheree is the slowest cashier ever. Items were loaded on the conveyor belt in order. Yet she still puts the chips in the same bag as the canned goods. Wtf. Okay so at first I was confused when I first came to this area there was an Albertsons then it closed and there was a Haggins ....n now there's an Albertsons again lol! I love Albertsons they always have an awesome deli selection for a quick lunch or snack, nice produce/veggies and their locations like this one always are very spacious with a lot of selection...I also like that its in the colonies which makes it easily accessible. Since it's new again it's obviously clean lol, the people this time around seem nice enough, and there's yet another Starbucks in case your having trouble waking up...I will be back to this location love the convenience ;) read more

6pm 8/23/12 Went to my local Albertson's to pick up a few items for dinner. Went through self check out since I was purchasing two items. As I was finishing checking out I grabbed my coupons (big coupon fan) and went to leave. I noticed that whomever used the machine in front of me left their coupon hanging there. So I grabbed that too. It is at this time I am confronted by a manager (balding man in a yellow shirt). He basically told me that I couldn't take those and that it was stealing, I rolled my eyes and told him that it was left there, and went to hand the ONE coupon back to him. He then made the grand gesture of letting me keep it. He did however follow me to the exit. WEIRD. I have lived in upland all my life. Never have I been treated so rudely in a store. What happened to the nice happy helpful people that used to work here? It seems like ever since the Albertsons on foothill closed all the grumpy employees were moved here. When you ask for assistance finding an item they make you feel like you are bothering them. And don't ask for rain checks! I miss the days when you could go in and the employees would ask how you were doing and also offer their assistance helping you find what you are looking for. I worked here for one day, I couldn't stand it. The deli manager is a bully, and they don't throw out food that's spoiled. When I informed them that the turkey breast they wanted me to cook was smelly (and slimy), I was told to cook it anyway. This Albertsons has a nice and varied inventory. They even have smoked bleu cheese. The store is clean and neat. Pricing can be a little on the high side but when shopping for sale items, they are competitive. Nice wine an liquor selection. read more

Casey in the deli is doing everything by herself tell me why management has an elderly woman working in a busy department on a Saturday on a holiday. That's bad management there was at least 10 people waiting in line to get their orders while one girl who is efficient is running everything. The chicken is always good at Albertsons but as far as managing the deli department I cannot say the same. From my phone call in the morning to when I visited the pharmacy later on. He was cheerful and caring as well as being very thorough in working with me and other customers as well. This review is for the Savon pharmacy located inside Albertson's. I'm so glad I transferred all of my prescriptions over to this pharmacy! Number one, they have a drive-through, super convenient! Number two, I got $75 gift certificate for transferring my prescriptions. Score! Number three, the pharmacy tech knows my face, which is super cool! I get text alerts letting me know when my prescriptions are ready and then I just drive through and pick it up! I guess the only con is that because they are a smaller pharmacy, sometimes they are closed for lunch. Also, occasionally, they are out of the prescription have to order it so I have to wait a day. But those two items are really minor! This pharmacy rocks! P.S.they do flu shots too. When you get your flu shot there, which most insurance plans are excepted, you get a temper set off coupon for your groceries! Love it! read more

Bought a 2 tier Birthday Cake from the display case. Got it home, this cake was at least 5 days old. very, very dry and stale. The top layer had separated from the bottom cake. Why was this cake not thrown away, and still for sale? Next time i will purchase a birthday cake from Cosco. read more

First crawfish and lobster claws from albertsons on foothill and vineyard and now smelly and sticky cocktail shrimp from albertsons on 19th and campus. Why cant you sell fresh fish?? Ordered numerous trays of food for a birthday party yesterday and was blown away by how beautiful the staff made everything look. The 2 fruit trays were FULL of delicious, ripe fruit. This review is for the pharmacy only. I recently had to switch my prescriptions to this pharmacy from CVS because our insurance was no longer accepted. It was a process I wasn't looking forward to, but the very nice lady at the Sav-on/Albertsons pharmacy was AMAZING! She provided great customer service while I was at the counter. I had a Rx that I needed filled that day and she called me as soon as it was ready. When I came in to pick it up (which was a couple days later than I anticipated), she remembered my last name and had my Rx in hand right when I approached the counter!!! I have been going to CVS for years and I've NEVER been remembered! So, Sav-on/Albertsons has earned a loyal customer in me! read more

How is this store surviving with such high prices? Pretty much everything here is more expensive than in other stores. A jar of Sun Butter costs $9.00?? I went across the street to Target and the same exact product was only $5.00. I guess the people who live in the master community behind Albertsons are fine paying these prices rather than drive to a cheaper store like Ralphs or Staters. I can't see this store surviving the next dip in the economy, which is coming up soon. With such inflated prices, Albertsons is just begging for Target to take over the grocery industry. Love this grocery store! Very friendly workers. There is a Starbucks inside for all you caffeine addicts! They are nice and your order always comes out correctly! They can get busy at times, esp in the am, which can make the wait time go up, but otherwise they are quick. Produce is always fresh and they have a small organic section. Would be nice to have a larger variety, but I guess I'll take what i can get for now. They even have a small gluten free section. I would like to see more items on sale here, as the prices are so high for gluten free foods. I would also LOVE to see signs for all their gluten free products that are through out the store. Would make shoping to much easier! read more
