Food tasted great! Enough food bang for your buck! Many great beer options, including a Hard Cider :) my favorite. I had the small portion of Ribs. Awesome tender flavor, and the garlic mashed potatoes were yummy too. I loved them so much, I practically ate the plate too. Good vibes, pool table, bar, etc. But def nice enough of a place to bring a date because it is an actual large restaurant. Very packed, but we were seated right away. We did have to wait a bit for our waiter to become available to take our order. Next time I'm in town, this hoppin' joint will be first on my list. read more

Pleasantly surprised by this establishment. I would give them a higher rating but will reserve that for another visit. The welcoming hostess, friendly atmosphere and courteous wait staff all deserve it, however a couple of flaws out of the kitchen cause hesitation. They were resolved without question, quickly, however it should never have left the kitchen. The meatloaf, mashes potatoes ans gravy was delicious once I was served a fresh plate unlike the first that had hard corners. Not dry or a little over done but knife knocking hard like a rock. The vegetables medley was cooked exceptionally well, none of them were soggy or overcooked, and the flavors were exquisite. The hamburger is great. Other food I've had not so good. The meat in the Rueben was tough, sliced thickly and stringy. The meatloaf was spicy and dry. Guess I will stick with the hamburger. The drink and beer selection is good and tasty. The staff is good. read more

Wow wow awesome place. Service was outstanding. Amy's knowledge of beer was brew masterish. The flight of Palisades Love was her recommendation and she was spot on with the variations in flavor. Recently moved to Junction and had heard great things about the Ale House. Stopped in yesterday for lunch and say at the bar. I loved everything about this place. Great location and food and incredibly friendly service. I had a chicken sandwich with Brie and sautéed apples, which was quite good and had a Lucky U IPA, which was a nice hoppy IPA. My friend and I are heading back to the Ale House this evening for dinner. This is a really great place, particularly for a town of this size. Highly recommended. read more

Four of us went for Happy Hour & Dinner. It was a new for two of us. The food was great. I had beer flight of IPA & it was a good assortment. We tried the Ahi Tuna, Artichoke Dip, Meat & Cheese plate, & Nachos & Cheese. We all enjoyed our food! Our waitress was very attentive. My only issue was trying to make online reservations. It just sends you into a loop with the yelp app. Reservations can only be done by phone. Perhaps take the feature off the Ale House website. The inside is homey and the outdoor patio is magical! The staff is energetic and pleasant! We came in as a group of 6 and waited less than 15 minutes to sit outside instead of being seated right away inside, which was well worth it. There are plenty of tvs inside and quite a large bar area. The food was out of the ordinary. We enjoyed smoked wings with BBQ sauce to start and then the table ordered elk meatloaf (this girls favorite, she doesn't even look at them menu anymore), elk burger (he was weary about the jalapeño onion jam, but ended up loving it), the smothered burrito (a couple spit it and still brought home left overs), and I had the shaved steak dip sandwich (in my opinion there was too much horseradish on it and I love horseradish). Everything came out hot and fresh and amazing. Our server was Madison. He was on point with service. My mom raised 5 kids on a waitress income so I have been exposed to the hospitality business my entire life and have pretty high expectations. The food was cooked perfect to order, our drinks never went empty, and answered all the ridiculous questions my friends and I had gladly. They make a wonderful margarita, however I was bummed when I ordered my favorite, the pork and grits. I got a way different cut of meat than i usually got in the past. And when questioning our waitress of why, she said they were out of the regular cut but she was suppose to say it was a "better cut of meat" when in fact is was terrible. I do not recommend this place because of how I was talked to over the phone. I'm having surgery next week so my mom went and got me food because I'm not supposed to go out into public. I called and asked if I could talk to a kitchen manager to make sure that my food didn't come into contact with mushrooms.
