Medium Greek pizza. Look at all the beautiful veggies and feta!

Friday night dinner plans are in good hands when you order from Aleko's. We were able to pick up a medium Greek pizza and breadsticks in just 15-20 min so this already deserves a high five. The pizza was loaded with fresh veggies and smelled glorious. They did not skip out on ingredients and I appreciate that so much. The breadsticks might look ordinary but don't let that fool you. Each bite is packed with flavor and texture. Try to eat just one... you can't! Don't forget the homemade garlic dip! Second time back, we ordered the Mostaccioli dinner for 2 and that was divine. It came with Greek salad and breadsticks. The pasta was saucy, cheesy and perfectly baked. The salad was fresh and crisp, a perfect complement. Had plenty of leftovers the next day and even the cold pizza, pasta, and breadsticks tasted just as delicious. That's how you know the meal was worth it from the beginning. So glad to have finally ordered from Aleko's and will def be back.

This place is a must! The service is great. The owners are great. The pizza is delicious!! These guys know what they're doing when it comes to pizza! Side note: if they offer a breadstick, just take it and thank me later!

Alekos gets 5 stars for the breadsticks alone! Great staff and owner has always been engaging. Worth the trip from wherever you are!

Something you would see in a resort town on the water, similar to the old Weathervane in Charlevoix or Ricciardi's in Eastport. Price per plate is a bit higher, but it's not a turn off as the walleye, and Euro burger both were really good. Our server was also very sweet and helpful in knowing her menu well, and was able to assist us with deciding a little better on what we wanted. Food was served promptly too. Most menu items end up around $30 per person, as it's $1.00 for raw onion or $3.00 if you want fries etc. The cons of this trip: The burger was beyond medium well, and very dry. Our server did all she could to assist, it's not her fault. There are many places that have trouble getting temperatures right at times. She had another one right away to replace it. And it was fine after that. The other issue is sports. I'm not sure what it is with this state, that everybody seems to think everything has to be about sports. It suddenly turned from a nice atmosphere, to guys uncontrollably losing bladder control, yelling and clapping over some game on the tv. I guess we were hoping to get away from the sports bar atmosphere for a minute, and apparently there's nowhere anyone can go, including here. Maybe one day they could put Yellowstone reruns on, and we can jump up and down cheering uncontrollably when someone goes to the train station! Not trying to down the place, we think it was just an off night for us, so we'll try again in the future. They have some pretty good reviews from others and we're hoping to get there also. Everybody (EXCEPT the Pound in Brighton) deserves a few tries. It's a very clean place with beautiful accents, and the flame lanterns outside are a great touch.

Every single employee said hello, gave a smile, or conversed with us. Wow! That is rare and it felt great to be there. I was very enamored by the mugs and light fixture created by a local glass blower. Beautiful work. Space is large and we sat at the long bar, but there are tables and booths too. Patio outside for those warm days. They offer beer, cider, wine, spirits... you name it. We went with a few beers and they were great. Menu is clearly labeled with sours containing lactose. Love when it's easy to spot. Food menu has loads of vegetarian options with a small few that could be vegan. We only ordered the spent grain pretzels with mustard and they were delicious. They do have tofu or Beyond burgers to sub on the burger menu if you're vegan. Carnivores have loads of options here. While I'm not in this area too much, I will absolutely be back to this friendly establishment!

Mandy behind the bar was super helpful with recommendations. I had the cherry hard cider which was slightly tart and delicious. Next I had a cup of Wild mushroom Soup which was earthy and rich. I could imagine it being cooked in a cauldron in the woods. Lastly I had their blueberry lemonade salad. Wow! This was a treat from the slightly candied walnuts to the blueberry vinaigrette. I look forward to going back because the fried avocado tacos were calling my name, but I didn't have room for more. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Locals really like this spot, for good reason. It's comfortable, clean and service is fair to good. I placed an order for a carryout pizza and bread. With the busy bar it took a few minutes to catch the bartender to order; expect that placing an order might take a few extra minutes, so if you're in a hurry it might be best to just call ahead. I came in to grab a pizza to take home and ordered a large square ($19 for deep dish versus $17 for hand tossed) with 3 toppings (pepperoni, caramelized onions and Kalamata olives). I have to say, they have some top shelf toppings that you won't find at Jet's. Each additional topping on a large is $2.50, fyi. After looking at the menu online, I was considering ordering a 1/2 and 1/2 large but the pricing for each additional 1/2 topping was still $2.50. Maybe that was a website glitch but that would've meant that I was spending double the price to top a large pizza?! Anyway, I ordered the large and topped the whole thing the same; it was $26.50 for the 3 topping pie. I will give them props for their large squares!.. they are big...bigger than a Jet's larges (14x10), measuring 14x14. I liked that! They topped it with a good amount of pepperoni and a fair portion of the olives, but they chinced me on the cheapest topping, the caramelized onions. There were hardly any : ( Moving on, I ordered a feta bread too. They included both Ranch and pizza sauce, which I appreciate! Their pizza sauce is pretty good, the Ranch is standard but serviceable. Overall, I think it was a pretty good pie and bread for the price. I did see a ton of great items on their menu so I'll need to try them again.
