I was looking for someone to replace our makeshift…read moreend-of-line cleanout with a proper one, and Jose came out on a Saturday to give me an estimate - super fair pricing and great work done quickly on the next Friday. We ended up telling him about our crumbling cast iron main sewer line under our slab foundation, and a belly in the garage that's been causing us problems every year, and Jose offered us the CIPP + robot cutter trenchless solution so that we don't have to dig up every connection in our house, and it was at a fair price. Since they did a great job with the cleanout replacement, we decided to do the whole sewer line CIPP and dig up the belly too. Jose and crew arrived promptly at the scheduled time to start the work. They dug up a trench in the garage and replaced the section of the pipe with the belly on day 1. After the belly was replaced with new pipe, there was still not enough slope for the new section to properly drain, because the two end of the existing pipes were just at the wrong height and simply replacing the belly was not enough. Jose communicated this to us and proposed another solution where they would pipe burst under the current pipe for the section that's too high to my front yard clean out so that the whole section would have proper slope, at no extra charge. Meanwhile the crew in the back were working on the CIPP in parallel. They measured out where the openings were and carefully marked the linings with the measurements. Inserted the linings, cured it, cut it, then used robot cutters to reopen the connections. After everything was done, they patched everything back, and cleaned up the whole place. When they patched the concrete in the garage back, they made sure put in rebar to support that small cut out section of the concrete. We saw the final result together in the camera inspection and the pipe looks great - no more bellies and one nice sewer line with proper slope and smooth lining. I'm so glad I found this company and Jose who I know I can trust to do high quality work and do the right thing when there are unexpected hiccups that arise. Throughout the process, Jose took time to explain to us what will be done and how it will be done so we were never left in the dark. I really appreciated the clear communication. Jeremey came and did the test and right away, he was able to identify the leak. So we spent $2500 open up the concrete and replaced the skimmer. It took about 2 days. And he has someone else over to do the repair. Then he came back to retest it seems supposed was cleared. However, I noticed the water level dropped unusually fast so I know something is wrong and asked him to come check again. His policy was retest will be charged $150 instead of new test of $550. Anyway, he suspected another leaks on the return which will cost another $1000-2000 to open up to determine where the leaks were. I was concerned, because I didn't want to open up and turned out it may be somewhere else. He then did a dye test and was able to identify the leak and plugged it instead of open up and replace the leaks. Which worked and saved me $1500. Looking back, the original leak could be at the return. If he used dye test on all the return, we may have identify that leak and save a lot of money. Anyway, leak was fixed and he ended up didn't change me for the retest and plugging the leak. So that was nice.

Teodor, our project manager, did a great job assessing our home and specifying the system. The installation crew, Azamat and Val, did excellent, careful work removing the old system, running new ductwork, and installing all the new equipment. The install took about 7 days. Communication was great throughout; scheduling, installation, and permitting all went smoothly.

Fuse came in significantly lower priced than everyone for a superior system. We wanted to add an additional vent on the main floor, and some dampers for a few of the vents and everything went like butter. Lex and Maxat were the nicest people, arrived on time, left at 6pm each day leaving the house clean. It was a 3 day install and they finished on the third day. Beyond what they needed to do, Lex walked through things that would be checked by the inspectors even on work they didn't do (GFCI plugs close to where the old unit was), and walked me through why they did some of the things they did because I was curious. We're 3 days in so far, but the installation experience was great, and the daikin system is cooling the house great (and I can already see from the energy monitoring systems we have, it's so much more efficient!).

I am letting everyone know visiting this website about ALERT Plumbing Company in San José, CA. ALERT Plumbing is a family owned business of approx 10-12 Family Member with great integrity, super customer service and excellent workmanship. ALERT Plumbing has become my company for Life! Do they plumbing work yes, when I asked them if they could repair my garage door, build a new fence door and install an outside water heater housing - yes- they did it to my absolute satisfaction. I met ALERT Plumbing in 2006 - actually, I followed their white ALERT Plumbing truck down the El Camino in Sunnyvale to copy their phone number off the truck. At that time, I did not have a pen in the car so I used my lipstick to copy their phone off the Truck. I contacted Ruben, the owner, for an estimate to replace my entire sewer system: not a small job I must say. Four hardworking Alert crewmembers showed up, polite, professional, and hardworking and within 3 days, the job was done. The landscape was nicely reinstated - a fantastic job. I believe when they left we had already become friends. Over the years, I also called on them for smaller jobs to change faucets in the house and outdoors. In Spring 2012, it was necessay to replace all of my plumbing under the house Which eventually lead to having to replace the bathtub, toilet, and sink, all of it. It turned into a brand new bathroom. They installed beautiful marble tile in the bathtub area, laid new flooring did a great paint job and installed sink and cabinets. The Bathroom remodel is absolutely TOPS! Everyone is so multi talented it is impressive. Nov 2012: ALERT is back again: THIS TIME REPLACING OUTSIDE WATER HEATER AND INSTALLING an outdoor casing for the heater. I have used many plumbers over the years, but none compare to Ruben Ochoa and his team at Alert Plumbing. Alert Plumbing is extremely professional and does things by code and the right way. The prices a fair and service is awesome . My Elderly parents used Alert Plumbing or a big plumber issue and Ruben was extremely patient, polite and answered all their questions and concerns...along with a super great price. My main sewer backed up and with in 20 min Ruben was at my house and cleared the blockage. Ruben used an optical snake to make sure there were no other issues. It turned out to be a larger issue from a previous Plumbing company whose snake broke in the sewer line. They took care of me, at least (3) times so far. Once at my home, and the other times at another property. They got the plumbing issues done for me. One was a in-the-wall drain leak which was pretty complicated, but they employed a creative solution to solve the problem. This most recent time, they coordinated directly with the tenant, even made a trip out to investigate and put eyes on everything first to provide the quote. All in all I'm happy with the results. They are also able to provide a professional invoice for my accountant. I can safely recommend their plumbing services. Our large very old house is experiencing many of the problems of old age. One day, all the toilets backed up. On another day, leaking gas was smelled by our pool service technician. Both times, Alert Plumbing responded within a few hours. Both times Alert Plumbing utilized its arsenal of modern devices to detect the underground plumbing lines and isolate the gas leak. This is a small business plumbing company who are all brothers that will even do 24/7 responses. Our hot water heater wouldn't light (the pilot would light but constantly go out after 10 minutes.) We called our home warranty company but they never responded. I called and alert plumbing was out the same night even at 9 PM to try and repair the pilot light. It turns out that the water heater was 18 years old and the part likely didn't exist so we went with a new Rheem water heater. Danny was great. Eventually, he discovered the real problem: a cup lodged deep in the drain line that was causing the backup. He cleared the obstruction, installed a new cleanout next to the exterior wall to make future maintenance easier, and even replaced a shutoff valve that had been leaking for years. Everything was explained clearly, and I never felt pressured into unnecessary work. What impressed me most was Loi's honesty, professionalism, and integrity. They told me right off what they estimated the cost would be and asked me if I would like to not have it done and send the refrigerator back and buy one with a factory installed icemaker. I gave them the go ahead since the refrigerator I purchased was the only one available from all the appliance vendors that met my requirements.
