If other plumbers cannot fix it, Trieu CAN! I have had this kitchen drain clog issue for 5 days, consulted ~10 plumbers majority told me they cannot do it, and a few gave me ~$1500 estimate. My kitchen is on second floor and the drain cleanout is located in the basement. Snake did not work at all because it was all grease clogging. All the previous plumbers consulted either does not have hydo jetting therefore cannot do the work, or cannot do hydo jetting from the basement (will cause a lot mess in the kitchen therefore they claimed a very high price). Trieu is very experienced in solving clogging issue for multi story townhouse. He's got so many advanced tools and he was able to do hydro jetting from basement. I just had to write another review for Trieu's work done at my parent's place on new years eve. Not sure why sewage problems always happen to me near the holidays this year, but the last time Trieu came out for my place was only the day before Thanksgiving (see my previous review). My parents place is very old (1907) and the plumbing was original and weird due to additions. My dad tried to snake it himself and finally declared defeat around 3pm. I called Trieu and was so happy he had time that day to come take a look. His estimate was 2 hours, but he was over in 1. I met him at my parents' place just in case of a language barrier. Trieu ended up hydro jetting from the roof vent and after the clog was cleared, sent a cam down to see what the problem was, all with my dad on the roof with him, explaining everything patiently to my dad who speaks minimal english. Trieu is very curious and wanted to get down to the root of the problem. He was not satisfied with the cam images showing a dip in one of the sections. He used his detector to figure out where the pipes were, went down to the crawlspace (with my dad) to locate more of the old house's strange piping. While he was down there, they found a cracked pipe that was leaking and provided the tools for my dad to fix it at no extra charge. All in all, Trieu went over and beyond for the service that he charged us for, which was just for hydro-jetting. Thank you so much!! Drain Assist did an excellent job unclogging a bathroom toilet yesterday that I share with another tenant at my place. Beforehand, I tried three different plungers with no success (I usually do unclog a backed up toilet myself.) It was just one of those days with bad juju, that I had to miss work after trying home remedies and watching multiple YouTube videos; At this point I said okay, I'll pay a fair price for anyone nearby who can help me on this. If I had called anyone else this would have been a huge ordeal. TL;DR my sink is a stupid design and there is no clean-out... because my house is also a stupid design. Drain Assist wasn't daunted by the stupidity of my house and got my super clogged sink working again for way less money than the multiple plumbers that probably would have had to come out. The solution was to hydro-jet my pipe from the roof vent on my 2 story house. I called at 7pm last night and Trieu was here at 10am the next day. Clog left our pipes at 12pm and we all cheered. My kitchen sink got clogged yesterday and I tried to unclog it as I did many times before but it didn't work this time. My wife called "Drain Assist" and Trieu showed up in 20' later. Trieu look at everything and tried to find out where it got clogged. He tried the easy way first by using his professional air gun to push down the clog from the sink. but it didn't work. He checked clean out and couldn't find the clog there and he suspected that the clog is in the horizontal pipe that connects the P-trap and the big vertical pipe in the wall. He is right. As he un-assembled the kitchen pipe connectors and don't see much clog in the P-trap but the horizontal pipe totally blocked the water flow w/ grease/food traps over the years. He use big snake tool to pull/push to clean the inside of the pipe. I could see how tough the clog was, but he has all the professional tool to do the job. He also ran the hot water to clean the grease inside the pipe to make sure it clean well. After that, he assembled all plumbing back then tested the water flow and checked for any leaks. Trieu works w/ his heart and tries to bring the best outcome for his customer. You can't be wrong to call him to help when in need at your house or your business. If there have 10 stars, I will give him 10 here. He came and spend over 30mins to check where my ceiling was leaking on the 1st floor from the 2nd floor. Excepting to cut a few holes to check where is leaking place on the ceiling on the 1st floor, he has a better suggestion to fix the toilets waxing instant. And then wait for a few days to see if it is continuing leaking water on the ceiling. However, for the safe side, I hope he could cut the ceiling and check whether have any mold inside of the ceiling where the leaking water place is located on top of the pendant light. and whether the pendant light's electrical wire is ruined or not which may cause a fire. Trieu was extremely professional, transparent, and helpful when I needed to get roots cleared out of my old pipes. Literally, this is who other plumbers call when they need an assist. After another plumber was hesitant to clear my root intrusion bc of my old pipes, he recommended Trieu bc of the specialized equipment Trieu has that could clear my root damage with less risk to damaging my old, iron pipes. Trieu came out and had the roots cleared quickly but spent an extra hour at least running his camera through my pipes and removing any other debris he found.
