My experience is based on service I received. I make sure I am only reviewing what I experienced with a employee or a department. My experience was involved by an employee name LaBrea Othello. This is based on professionalism, attitude and people's skill. If I could rate this person a 0 I would. The care I received from this person was horrible, I don't understand how a patient could be treated with no repect or care. This was a 1st time visit and the last. I wasnt too familiar with the entire staff since this was my 2nd visit, but the treatment of disrespect and unprofessional i will not return nor do i reccomend this place no matter of the urgency. There are too many great competitors around that shows customers great customer service and attitude to deal with this type of pressure and disrespect. We made an appointment with Alfa as new patients, gave all of our insurance information with no issues however once we got to the office filled out all of our paperwork they told us they didn't accept our insurance type. Why give the information prior to an appointment if this isn't going to be verified before people take off work to make an appointment. Huge waste of our time. read more

I have been coming here for 15 years and have never had any issues. however there appears to be a change in staff within the past two years. Everytime I've gone within the two years I spend about 2 hours in which one of the hours is just waiting in the waiting room. In my last appointment earlier this year around February I went in and was asked if I had changed insurance I told the lady no I was still under the same one I've always been, She said she would verify. I continued my appointment for a cleaning and exam then was told the fillings I had just gotten done the year before had all fallen out. They said I would need new fillings, I asked the Dr how this was possible or if they only lasted a year b/c I had never had this happen before. The Dr was not able to give me a reason as to why this had happened. Later on at checkout I was told the fillings would be around $200. I said that was fine and would look at my schedule and call for the next appointment. Later on that week about 4 days later they called to let me know that my insurance had changed into an HMO plan and they did not accept HMO Cigna. That would have been nice to know PRIOR to my x-rays, exams & cleaning. They are now telling me I have to pay full price. They also did not let me know at check-out !!! I will now after 15yrs be switching dentist !! read more

Great office, every person I've dealt with has been friendly and helpful. Dr. Roper and Diana are who I normally see. My daughter has had braces here and that whole experience was very pleasant, (even the insurance/payment part was harmless) They worked with me to explain insurance and what was covered. My son actually said he loves going to the dentist! He had a hard time when he was younger with the x-rays (small kid mouth) but the hygienists have always been patient with him. (Diana) is awesome, very sweet, personable, knows what's she's doing and has you out of there quick. She does an excellent job cleaning my teeth. She's good with kids. are I've been coming to Alfa dental for They recently changed the process for cleanings and I'm not sure how well it's working out. They clean your teeth then send you back out to the waiting room to.... wait, and about 20 minutes later they call you back again for the dentist to check everything out. All of this used to be done the first time they called you back. Hopefully they perfect this process or go back to the old way. They actually forgot I was waiting out there one day and after what felt like 30 minutes they realized I was sitting there waiting and called me back quick. If your waiting more than 10-15 minutes ask they front desk. The new way is more time consuming for the patient and the reason for 1 star deduct. Over all a great office that my family will continue to use. read more

At my first visit, they would not do a cleaning because apparently that is a separate appointment. What a sham. I have always had a cleaning with my first dental appointment anywhere else. Dr Beelman is nice and thorough and so is his assistant Carolina, however, I will go elsewhere for dental care. They should be more considerate of working individuals and the time constraints to have to take off of work. After I told them I would go elsewhere they all of a sudden had a hygienist available to do my cleaning. Why not set that up as part of the first visit and avoid a new patient the frustration. Save your time and go somewhere else. read more

I had a swollen gum line/assessed tooth over the weekend and Alpha Dental help me manage the pain over the weekend and get me all set to be in the dental chair come Monday morning. They are smart, fun and professional. They do what they say they are going to do, they are always one time, they are grateful. I would recommend their dental services to anyone. read more

Corporate and rude! I had an appointment for an exam and cleaning and I'm a cash customer. I understand that X-rays are a great way to bill an insurance company but are not always important for the most basic of check-ups. I refused the X-rays so now they cancelled my "exam" and I'm waiting here again in the lobby for my cleaning. I am not generally a review type of guy. Both my wife and I are patients of Dr. Roper. Having had bad experiences with dentist's in the past, the opportunity to stumble across a very good one is much appreciated. In the past we selected a dentist that offered sedation dentistry across from Baylor Hospital. I seemed like the perfect choice to both care for a wife that has fear of dentist procedures and be close to a hospital if anything was to go wrong. Every crown placed in my mouth and every crown placed in my wife's mouth either fell out or the tooth required extraction. There are bad dentists out there !!! Dr. Roper utilizes state of the art dentistry, is understanding and has calmed the concerns of a very difficult patient in my wife. Having successfully satisfied the concerns of my wife would be ground enough to recommend this dentist, but there is more. Doctor Roper is not satisfied to rest on his laurels. He is constantly reviewing state of the art dentistry offerings and incorporating them into his practice as they make sense. Xrays are digital. My last crown was generate in a mill at the office and placed in my mouth the same day of replacement. impressions of the crown were digital, changes to the design of the crown occurred online and milling occurred in relatively short order. To answer you next question, at what price is this being offered at. A very reasonable cost that was less than that of my last two dentists. An addendum to above. No dentist is complete without a supporting staff. All of the members of his team have been professional , competent, friendly and personable. They may be busy, but they certainly complement a great dentist. Highly, highly recommend this office and dentist. Throughout my long years (and I am almost 65 years old) I have never had a more capable dentist that I hope to retain long into the future. The only personal problem I have had, is that for the many years I have been with Dr. Roper, I have changed from bushy brown hair gentleman to a gray thinning haired patient. I've been coming to this dentist since before I was 12 years old. Lately I've had issues and they've referred me to have my wisdom teeth pulled from Dr. Weinstein. I would vow that he's the best surgeon for pulling wisdom teeth but I'd be lying. Other than that wrong referral I love the staff. They are all so nice. Dr. Roper is coming up on the latest finds to stay in tune with his specialty and you really cannot ask more than that from someone you trust with the first thing most people see - your smile. I like how they are willing to work with you to get the best health procedure needing done. They offer whitening and all the basics. You're not waiting in the waiting area long which I love. Voice your concerns and they listen. They're not trying to get you in and get you out. This has been a great Dental experiance with Dr Kehl. I have multiple issues going on in my mouth. I had a long absence of dental care after some not so favorable experiances. I was pleasantly surprised at the professionalism and care taken by both Dr. Kehl and his assistant while getting a root canal and crown. They were patient and took great care to make sure I was never in pain. They keep you informed every step of the way, letting you know exactly what is happening next eliminating any fear of the unknown. The staff is very professional and organized. I never had a long wait which was just a bonus. I am now going back to have a second root canal and some cosmetic work done on my front teeth with complete confidence in my doctor and his staff. read more

I love Dr. Roper and have been going to him for years. If there was a Wizarding World of Hogwart's class for Dentistry, he would be the professor. To be honest, I am not the perfect dental patient. Okay, I am FAR from the perfect dental patient. I get nervous, flinch, hate pain, and if I were him, I would have declined to keep seeing me years ago. He is tougher than he looks. This is one of the reasons I know he would be the professor. I have been wearing a top denture for the past 8 years that he fitted for me. This is some of his best stuff. I broke a front tooth once and he went to a "back room" and made me one. It looked amazing and I did not have to lock myself in my house waiting for the lab to fix it. I just got a new top denture and I never had to go have it adjusted. The fit was perfect the first time. The color is great and when I told someone I had known for years that I wore top dentures, they thought I was kidding. They look natural and fit well so that they are un-noticable. Even the old set was great until I wore them out. The support team group he has are amazing as well. Love them all. I can't recommend him enough. read more

Let start off by saying, Dr Wood is a great dentist. The problem that I have with this company is the people working at their front desk. They are 100% no question the most disorganized dentist office that I have ever seen. After every visit they told me what I owed and I paid. Then I would come back on my next visit and they would try to collect again. After advising them that I already paid, they had no records and told me I had to wait until Tiffany got in because she was the one working on my file. Why isn't this information in the computer for all staff to see and understand. They tell you one thing will be done on a visit then later split your work into two visits causing you to take off work twice. When you try to go over payments made versus what was charge none of the numbers match it's just a mess!!! I decided to go else where and cut our loses after Tiffany insinuated that the problem was me. Clearly this couldn't be when all I did was hold them to what they said, paid what they asked and refused to let them double bill me. I wouldn't recommend that anyone go here. This is too bad because the facility is really nice. I'm surprise that their book keeping and front desk are in so much disarray! If you need a lot of work done, go somewhere else because they cannot handle it. read more

I've been looking for someone to handle aesthetic dentistry for over 8 years. I have seen 5 or 6 dentists over that time, mostly in California, and NONE of them holds a candle to Dr Roper and his Lead Assistant Sarah. This team is absolutely amazing. They are relentlessly thorough and share genuine pride in their work. They care. And Diana, my Hygienist, does as well - she is the best I've ever had. Rarely do I leave reviews about service oriented businesses because of how subjective they can be, but I cannot imagine anyone having a bad experience at Alfa. Called to make 3 appointments for myself and kids and was left on hold almost 10 minutes, shuffled between 3 people whom I had to explain to each of them why I was calling. So bad that I even asked if I should call back because I definitely felt I was an inconvenience. Short and rude. I ended up calling back and canceling appointments. I have a special needs daughter that needs major restoration and was looking for ortho for my other 2 kids. No way I'm spending 20k here. read more

They will rip you off - they don't do everything they charge you for - which is fraud. Also their work is inferior - they don't do root canal right and they get infected. Then they say too bad and you suffer with the pain. read more
