i have been a customer for over 10 years but recently moved to discovery bay about a year ago and had water service transferred from my old address to disco bay. i get service 1x a month. however, for the past several months i have put my 8 empty bottles out as reminded by the automated reminder, only to receive an email (always at the close of business) to say they are not coming! i was due for service monday and everyday since then i have called to inquire about my water delivery and am told they will reschedule for the next day only to receive an email the next day stating they will miss my scheduled delivery!!!!! customer service says they have reached out to the branch manager (someone in manteca) and have left emails, escalation emails and voice mails with NO response on when (if ever) i will receive my delivery. i have now, after calling everyday this week to plead with someone to please deliver water, had to go to the store and pay to purchase water for my family. it has been super hot here lately and all we drink and cook with is basically bottled water. no one seems to care to reach out to me, its always me reaching out to alhambra! this is so unfair to your loyal, account paying customers! while our normal delivery guy is REALLY SUPER NICE, the customer service and lack of response from the branch is wrong on so many levels. it is now day 5, 5 calls and emails later snd i still have 8 empty bottles on my porch waiting for pick up, no water delivery since last month, no response from the branch and apparently no realistic date of when, if ever, my family will receive our scheduled delivery! i know i am but 1 customer out of hundreds of thousands, but wish someone cared enough to simply communicate with us and let us know when they plan on getting water to us.... i get life happens, there are hiccups that occur, but honestly, i think i have been more than patient and honetly just wish someone at the branch cared enough reach out and resolve this with me... read more

Our normal delivery was scheduled for the 16th of August, did not happen. Received email the next day that delivery is coming the 21st, did not happen. Did not receive an email this time letting me know of a new delivery. Checked the app and next delivery scheduled for the 30th! Submitted a message online and had to call twice to speak with someone even though I was told my issue had been expedited to a mgr. Now out of water and was told I can go pick up my own water instead of waiting for my next delivery. The inconsistency of deliveries ridiculous and I was told by the rep that closed my account today that there is a new route mgr and they don't know how many bottles are needed for each customer. This is seriously the worst customer experience ever! I just signed up on 4/14 and my first delivery couldn't get scheduled till the 21st, which I was fine with. I get confirmation that my order is on the truck and in route, but it never arrived. They rescheduled for the next day. This happened two more times I emailed and called and was just told they were having personal issues but no info on when I can expect my order. The exact same thing has happened every day for a week and not one phone call or email from the company to explain why or give an update. I'm so pissed I called to just cancel today but I was on hold for so long that I finally just gave up! What the hell kind of business is this and where is the customer service? Unfortunately Alhambra had not continued to meet our needs so we had to go our separate ways. They've made empty promises back to back in regards to our water not being delivered in over 6 weeks. They billed us for service in which we never received. It's just unfortunate that it's come to this but it completely unacceptable. Been a customer for quite some time now (several years) and recently they have been completely unable to provide delivery either on a schedule or after I have called in and requested a delivery. My recent experience had me rescheduled repeatedly over the period of a month only to have my final rescheduled delivery once again cancelled. I understand that businesses are struggling with covid and employment but if your business is running so lean that you can't service your long time customers you are doing it wrong! Awful! The route manager calls several weeks after I was supposed to get a call a few days later stating I "fell thru the cracks". I should have taken that as a red flag. But we decided to give them a shot. They deliver our cooler and 2 bottles of water. We plug in the unit and put in the water and it starts making noise. We think nothing of it. The next day, there is a puddle of water around the cooler. I send several texts to the account manager to see if it can be replaced and get no answer after a few days. I call in the main number and let them know, but they only service mon-fri, so I decide that's it, I terminate service. The rep was nice, probably the best part of this experience. They simply do not care about their customers and run on their own time. Only people they value are large companies, not residents. I am a new customer and they have skipped our first initial delivery twice now... a whole month missed.. terrible first impression for a new customer. I have called and waited on them, which is a very long wait time (60+ min). I finally got on the phone with someone and they told me "they weren't sure why my deliveries kept getting cancelled but that my delivery is on its way and will be delivered to my door, and that someone will be contacting me to offer more clarity." Nope.. no delivery. No one contacted me. Nothing. Still waiting on my water delivery service and my dispenser. Such a shame. My family used them years back and really liked them. The way these guys run their business is like thieves running a circus. Horrible. 2 month of sign up and i get one delivery for 2 bottle of water and the water stopped coming. On the 30 th a delivery truck driver parked on the wrong direction of the alley flatly refused to move his truck a few feet to enable me to pull through safely....outcome scraped a pole doing 3000.00 in damage. Phenomenal customer service provided by our delivery driver Jesse! He goes above and beyond, he is always prompt and very pleasant! I've always received prompt responses and great communication with this company! I absolutely would recommend home delivery for anyone looking for refreshing clean water! I've saved so much money! If you are thinking about getting home delivery service, think again. What the sales agent in Costco didn't tell me is that there is a variable rate "energy charge" for the delivery of the bottles. That was problem 1 that I had with the service. Problem 2 was issues with delivery. One delivery was missed, another they delivered 2 bottles when I didn't order any. A third delivery they delivered 4 bottles when I didn't order any. This was because of an issue with the online account defaulting to 4 bottles without my knowledge. Problem 3 was an issue with e-mail reminders not received. Problem 4 was an issue with billing. The only correct bill that I received was the first bill. Now, Problem 5, I am unable to access my online account to receive past bills due to account status. Bottom line if you are a Costco Member, and see the Alhambra display, enjoy a glass of water but do not sign up. Pick up your 40 count case of half liter bottles ($2.99 + 2.00 CRV + $0.41 tax [Merced County]) and get 5 1/4 gallons of water for $5.40 and when you recycle the bottles, that comes down to $3.40 for 5 1/4 gallons of water. If you are getting two 5 gallon bottles per week, you are spending $12.98 for the bottles, $1.07 for tax and $5.14 for the "energy charge" for a total of $19.19 for 10 gallons of water. 2 Cases of the Costco Bottled water would amount to 10.80 initial purchase and $6.80 for net after recycling. read more

This is the worst customer service I have ever seen. Not only did they miss a delivery, but when I try to cancel service and pick up the dispenser and bottles, they set a date and did not show for that. I called customer service where they told me the date was changed (they didn't inform me of this by the way) and I told them the date they changed it to was too late as I am moving out of the state 3 days earlier. They then told me that the route isn't in my area this week and I will have to take the dispenser and bottles to the local branch, which is 20 miles away. I asked to speak to manager and the customer service rep wouldn't transfer me, she said the manager will call me back. It has been two days now, no call. I also asked for the direct number to the branch so I can speak to that manager, CSR said she can't give that number out. WTheck, I am not allowed to call the branch that is servicing this area? We have been trying to establish service at a new location for over a month. Sheri who is the account manager has not called back in over three weeks. Finally had a scheduled date to set up service, and no one showed up. Call customer service only to find out that they rescheduled for a week away. I asked that they called prior to delivery as the hours on our new location have not been fully established. No phone call. I've now been waiting on hold for over 20 minutes, I'm sure it will be much longer. They turn off your water delivery without notice, or make sure you have enough water till payday. LOL It's just show me the money, other than that I don't care. I'm on SSI. Moved to Tracy Amin the ago from San Ramon Ca wheee it was advertised on Costco web water delivery service the offered survive for so I trusted the service just based in having it posted by Costco but didn't do usual my home work by looking up the company and credentials and reviews , first scheduled delivery didn't show up on that day when I called the customers service rep was accommodating ai he told me he would issue the credit in the account fir the undelivered water and arrange for next week delivery Which was inconvenient but we went with it any way . I was in Dallas that week All the sudden my wife told me the water showed up two days later so that was great . Then we get another unscheduled delivery a week later so we catch the driver before he drives off to let him know we got it the week before si he picks it up but find out later we were charged and I had to call many times to just check on the credit . They Issued refund on the undelivered delivery but still shows all other ones . It's just a hassle to call it's a hassle to schedule and get it on time if you are lucky . We are canceling service . Blessed 2day Our delivery guy(at my work place)is Jesse G. This man is an absolutely 1-of-a-Kind guy. He is friendly, respectful, & extremely helpful Throughout these years of service(6+yrs) he has always addressed R concerns and/or questions before he leaves. We have never been left no answer or any on going problem. I myself have alhambra delivery services at my home & although he is not my Alhambra delivery guy, he treats me like I am his #1 customer. He has helped me with any issues or questions or concerns I may have with my home service He NATURALLY has a humble & kind heart. 2day as he delivered the water, in small talk shared how my bill had increased & I was considering canceling. He immediately stopped, got his phone out & began 2 attempt 2 help. At that moment (whether he was able 2 help or not) the fact that he stopped in the middle of replacing R empties to help me, was, wow, AMAZING. Scedualed deliveries where inconstant and now they just stopped coming at all. Do not sign ton Autopay because they will charge first and ask questions later except you cant ask questions later because customer service will leave you on hold for an hour then disconnect you. Bottles leak. The water is great and so is the dispenser but my dispenser has had nothing to dispense for over a week now. Last I heard from them is 2 weeks ago when they billed my checking account for $90. They owe me deposit refunds for 5 empty bottles. Bottle deposite = $5 each plus $15 per month for dispenser rent for a dispenser that has nothing to dispense. So they owe me $40. At least I have possession of their dispenser for collateral. read more

This is descustin, so we normally buy our "clean" "drinking" water from home Depot at Turlock on countryside and Monte Vista We buy our water twice a month, five bottles of five gallons of alhambra bottle water, but this time we noticed that the glasses and cups where we drink water from had a bad smell after we pulled them from the dishwasher, we checked the dishwasher and we run the dishwasher again, but the smell was the same when we drink water. So we find out that the smell was from the water Inside the bottle water was mold growing. So is up to you if you want to continue buying water from them My wife ended up on the emergency room and I just feel weird. read more

I thought I should post an update. Since my last update, I called the main office and was on the phone for close to an hour between the call back and being put on hold. I had switched to Costco and canceled my original service. I was told that this would be taken care of and that I would receive a delivery on the 28th (old account) and one on the 2nd under the new account. No surprisingly, no delivery on the 28th. Today the 30th, I got a email saying my delivery was on its way followed by another one stating it was delivered. Well... My empty bottles are still at the front door and nothing was delivered. I truly can't make this up! I tried to reach out to the manager through yelp as she responded to my post but it just errors out. I would of thought she would listed her direct office number to call. I receive an email this afternoon saying that I will have a delivery on the 2nd. I can honestly say if this doesn't happen, I am canceling my service and letting Costco know they have a service provider that is not taking care of their customer. I always try to give the benefit of the doubt but this service is totally unacceptable. read more

I have been dealing with Alhambra water for about 8 years. We have had the same delivery driver the whole time, we moved about a year and a half ago and have a new driver, things changed dramatically...we have had bottles delivered broken, no deliveries at all, and when I confronted the driver he was pist off and wanted to argue with me. I called customer service and complained . They said they would have a route manager call me, well it's been a year and a half and still hasn't called ! We also have service at our business and our driver was relocated to a different area...so in the last couple month I have had 5 different drivers, and none of them friendly, I guess it's time to find another service ! read more

As a company these guys are a zero. My delivery person is 5 star. Paid online. Took them 8 days to acknowledge and process so I emailed them. They claimed they couldn't find my account and asked for all sorts of info. My reply back was that I was replying to their email and they should already have my info. I suggested that I should look for a company that wanted my business and had their act together. They replied and said they suspended delivery for 30 days and were sorry that I was cancelling my service. What? Terrible business practices. Incompetent management. I made a safe & legal lane change, apparently he was not pleased at all. As he passed me by he made sure to wave hos displeasure. I love Alhambra delivery services. It is a convenient service to have. No more buying cases of water, storing them, then storing empties and taking them to recycling. I would highly recommend. I also wanted to recognize my delivery representative, Jesse G. He has been my representative for a few years now and has always delivered exceptional service. Many times i forget to leave my empty bottles out or give direction on what is needed during my scheduled delivery. Jesse always reaches out to me directly when this happens. He is always efficient and prompt in answering my questions and does so in a friendly and professional manner. He is one of the reasons I continue my service with Alhambra. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE COMPANY STAY AWAY!!! I signed up to Alhambra water through Costco services. The contract you sign up with is not one that Alhambra will modify or allow you to change. In my opinion, Costco should kick them out of every store and never allow them back in! You are promised a phone call back within something like 2 business days. Never happened. Finally after more than a week I called them. They told me it would be longer than 10 more days, so about an entire month from the time I signed up, before they could deliver equipment and water. A few days later I have a knock at the door and it is them to deliver the items, no phone call nothing advance notice. This company, Alhambra Water, is one of the worst companies I have ever done business with in my life. I found I was having to much water delivered. The driver said he would modify the amount being delivered. My information was never updated and was still being charged for the water. I had 5 of the 5 gallon bottles on hand and they wanted to still deliver 3. I later found that given the "Costco contract" the driver was not allowed to do this... Why do they say they will do it then. I tried to cancel the contract as I could not use the amount of water I was receiving every month and they would not modify it. I specifically told them "I want to cancel the service" They would not deliver the water if I did not have the bottles outside on the date that they were going to deliver the water. However they would still charge me their fee for the water and the delivery, despite them not providing the product... How legal is that? How can you put the bottles out if you are not in town? As they were not delivering the product, I assumed they had cancelled the service, bad way to think because all they are doing is charging you for it but not delivering it. I finally realized what was going on and called Alhambra up. I was informed that THEY would not work with me as they decided to send it to collections and it was done the day before. This also is not correct as any debt I have is with them not the Collection Agency. They never sent me notice of this action, how legal is this? I was told by Alhambra that I had to drive and return all equipment to them or I would be charged for it. I was moving and despite the fact they have trucks driving down my street they told me that if the driver picked it up I would still owe them the money for the equipment. Once again how legal was/is this? After 6 weeks, I still have not received even notice from the collection agency in the mail. The collection agency says it is because I moved and that is the reason. I have forwarded my mail and despite this I still have not received anything. I drove the 70 miles each direction to return the equipment. I believe that it is something they are required to reimburse me for but not worried about it. Received bill last week showing amount owed $0.00. Today received phone call, still no written notice from them, from the collection agency stating I owe them over $150.00. How can this be if Alhambra shows me a bill of $0.00. Collection agency says it is my responsibility to contact Alhambra myself, remember they told me they would not work with me as they sent me to collections, also the collection agency is working for them and not me. Looks like we might end up in court over this one. read more

The worst service possible. I have been with them 10 years. Made the deal with the driver. He said you get a water machine a 2 5gal of water for 15.00. Then all of a sudden it was 19.00 for the water machine alone that didn't work. For two bottles of water they went to 4 and 5 a month. I had 15 bottles of water. They had my credit card on file. I called them and put a vacation hold on my acct because I had to many waters. I still got a call every month saying to put the bottles out so I did. I call today to start service again and find out they sent me to collections? Mind you they had my card on file to bill??? Not to mention they were still picking up my empty bottles per month ??? They gave me a collection number I called them they said they no nothing about it. I call Alhambra back. They say they no nothing about it ??? I. Hope someone that runs Alhambra see's this and dose something about it. Do not believe the salesmen. They are nothing but slimy sales people. If you call the office make sure it's someone that knows what they are talking about. I plan to put this all over social media. It is the worst. I never really had any problems throughout my first two years of service with Alhambra, but in the last few months it's gone downhill. I'm always on hold for at least twenty minutes when I try to get a hold of customer service unless I call right around 8am. I've had to cancel their services last week for personal reasons and was told they would come by earlier this week for the tower, etc, but no one ever showed up. I called first thing in the morning to try to find out what time I could expect them and although they said they would get back to me, they never did.
