All following shipments never happened. In fact they were epic cells. I called them 12 times in a two week. Only to have the customer service agent apologize profusely however, I still never got a call from the local manager or supervisor and they never got water delivered ever again, it is unfortunate but I had to break up with them. And cancel my membership. So what's happening now? There are still empty bottles sitting at my front door for three weeks now. Since Primo took over Ready Refresh, it has been a nightmare. First, they got rid of Calistoga Water (which may have been something more about that brand than Primo, but no communication). They replaced it with Alhambra which is actually good. But then, the last 2 deliveries, they delivered 5 bottles of Arrowhead which is HORRIBLE. They won't take back full bottles so I have 10 bottles of Arrowhead which I won't drink. I called twice: first time when the first 5 bottles of Arrowhead arrived, the CS rep was nice, but all she could offer me was a $10 rebate and free delivery. She placed the order for Alhambra herself, and I was delivered an additional 5 bottles of Arrowhead! UGH! Called again. Again, CS rep was very nice, waiting outside during the delivery window to ensure they delivered Alhambra (again, arranged by the CS rep) and they cancelled that order! Now I have 10 bottles of Arrowhead, no confidence that Alhambra will ever be delivered, and am going to cancel my service unless someone can fix this once and for all. Following, when I called to up my order to 2 bottles, I was told I could not get same day delivery (no problem) but that I would receive two bottles the following day (and canceled my upcoming delivery) No delivery came next day and when I called mid-afternoon to confirm it was coming, I was told the representative had both escalated my request to the manager as well as the delivery driver himself and they would call me directly to confirm No call. I've had a horrible experience with Alhambra Water Delivery service out in th Tri Valley area of Pleasanton/Dublin/Livermore. My empty water bottles have been outside since Monday waiting to be picked up. It's now Friday and NOTHING! I understand were in a pandemic so they might be short-staffed and there be a delay. That's reasonable, but what bothers me is the lack of care of concern for customers. If they were going to be a week late, they should have indicated that to me or let me know. If they were going to be a day late, they should have let me know. Also, it seemed something also screwed up with their system because I got a notification on Wednesday saying I got water delivered but I did not. I have friends who have used this service and they said it was pretty convenient so I had high expectations but, this has been anything BUT convenient! It's been a total annoyance. I've talked to 2 to 3 people almost EVERY DAY this week from the company trying to get a sense of what's going on and when my water will be here. Everytime I speak with a Customer Service Representative they tell me that "they're working on it," or that "they can't reach the branch manager who handles Dublin/Pleasanton/Livermore area," or " we'll handle it today," or "we wont handle it today," all these different stories and excuses. Today I was told by Luz in customer service that her manager named Alicia would call me back but she did not. No one called me back. I reached out via Facebook and have been waiting days for a response. It seems like they don't really care about their customers. My experience was exactly what every other review here says. LOVED my service and my delivery guy, who even brought it exactly where I needed it as a recovered from surgery. Then "the Merger". Delivery dates pushed back, half an order delivered, changed my delivery guy, and trying to call them? I consistently have bottles delivered that leak from the bottom (15% fault rate), which means Not only can I not use those bottles, but they ruined my laminate wood floors as well. Then I put it in the garage and noticed rings of calcium and lime deposits Where the Alhambra jugs sat, which means I'm paying a lot of money to buy HARD TAP water full of lime, and calcium deposits. I purchased the service so that I can enjoy quality Nespresso coffee that does not taste like tapwater, but I've had to descale my machine frequently after running what I thought was the premium Alhambra water through it. And If that wasn't enough, initially I rented the water dispenser from them and bugs came out of it. I had them replace it, and bugs came out of the replacement again and fell into my drinking cup. Gross! I gave them the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe it was just my home, but when I bought my own brand dispenser surprise no bugs! We have had Alhambra/Primo water delivery service since approx. 2021. I have always had excellent deliveries, every driver we had, was the Best! The best customer service on the phone, as well. Only 1 time we didn't get a delivery. I think our driver was sick IDK. I called them and not our regular driver, but another driver, called me back and offered to deliver 2 - 5 gallon bottles he had left over in his truck. After he was off work! I didn't want him to do this on his own time, he said, it was no problem. I told him we would be O.K. till the next delivery. I appreciated his kind offer. I used to have Bi weekly delivery for years but then all of a sudden they started missing deliveries and they didn't contact me warn me or anything . calls to them were a joke. Told the same thing, that a supervisor would call me but no one ever did. They just skipped it and when for the next scheduled delivery date. This happened many times until they just stopped delivering at all. Their reason when I called them was they didn't know when or if they would deliver. The so called Pause was "Indefinitely " I also noticed my neighbors also no longer received deliveries. I am a disabled person and rely on water delivered. I don't mind an occasional skip delivery or so but at least let me know how long the pause is or just deliver it late a day or two. A legit scam. They will drop water off on days when nothing is ordered just so you can't refuse, then will NEVER come back to pick up the bottles. I have contacted customer service probably 50 times over the past year and trust me it is not worth the headache. Awful. The delivery person is great.. Never had any real issues until this month. Our delivery is for every 2 weeks July 6th came perfect... my dispenser was leaking I called they came out that day and replaced it (7/14) my next water delivery was scheduled for 7/20 .. never came.. I called they said it was delivered on 7/14 I said, no, I received a replacement dispenser.. ok they promised water would come every day since the 20th.. today is the 28th still no water. I spoke to 6 different agents.. all were less than cordial... like I did something wrong. Completely and totally annoyed. I left the Costco recommended Alhambra when Costco went with Nestle water. The ReadyRefresh new service was poorly staffed and their water dispenser was very loud so we decided to go back to Alhambra where we never had a real problem . We also like the taste of their water better. read more

Damned I wish I read these reviews before I signed up for this service. We normally would go to a store and fill our own 5 gallon bottles of water for a dispenser we owned. I signed up for this after we had a number of surgeries in the family and needed convenience. What a mistake. First delivery was fine. Second delivery they delivered wrong water. 6 contacts with customer service later where they said they would resolve the issue I was finally told that the wrong water would be switched out for the right water we actually paid and it would be done in my next normal delivery along with delivering my 4 new bottles. Got the auto phone call and email saying my delivery is on the way and it never came. So now I'm out of water and have to go to the water store which defeats the whole purpose. Now I'm told they will come pick up the 4 full wrong bottles of water and the two remaining empty bottles and then give me a refund. I've canceled my service. How does this place stay in business. If my refund is not processed, or they charge my account ever again straight to the better business bureau I will go. read more

Do not use this water service, I have not had my water delivery since October and have cancelled the service, however cannot get anyone to come to pick up dispenser and empty bottles. When you call their customer service, the hold time's are ridiculous long over 30 minutes and the staff say they message the office, but nothing happens. There is simply no rhyme or reason to their delivery schedule. I have been trying to get a delivery and two replacement water coolers. When I call customer service, they give you rote answers and reschedule deliveries but then no one every shows up. I have asked to speak to a supervisor, there is never one available. I have asked for a supervisor to call me back, that does not happen. Whenever they call the local branch or the driver, there is never any response. I just keep getting rescheduled, only to have to sit around all day and wait for a delivery that never comes. I'm unclear why they cannot make the delivery or at the very least give me an accurate delivery date. Looking for a water delivery service minus no deliveries you've come to the right place. I've had Alhambra for about a year now. The water was great. I liked the drivers, they were nice and pleasant but recently it's been so unreliable. Like most recent reviews it was fine until early July 23' I have been skipped about 10 times now and the app keeps changing my delivery date and it finally stopped scheduling. I have had no deliveries for 3 months straight. I've called customer service numerous times. The first one saying they were going to forward my concerns to the branch manager and they were going to call me. I never received a call (shocker). I asked how we can resolve this issue. She said we need to continue "putting pressure on the branch ??" and the most recent call they didn't have an answer for me. Hence me writing this review. I've been very patient but now I'm lost at what to do. I've even offered to drop off my water cooler and bottles. Run away from this horrible company. As of writing this review, they have 767 reviews with an average of 1.2. Keep in mind that you cannot give a zero which is what they deserve. by default the lowest you can give is 1 star which means the real rating is 0.2 . This is by far the worst of any company I have ever reviewed and they deserve that honorarium. We had the service for 6 months and every single delivery, we demand that they call or text prior to the delivery so we can open the door and they can take the empties. Not a single time did the do this although every time they promise to do so. Now we have 20, yes 20 empties and keep in mind every time they dont pick up the empties you are charged a deposit for it. Finally this morning we told them that we have had enough and if they don't contact us today we will cancel the service today. Once again they said this was escalated and we will definitely get a notification but sure enough they did not. So we call to cancel and they say they cannot pick it us till April (we are in March) and that the 6 bottles delivered today, cannot be credited . Multiple emails sent to customer service with no replies. calling is impossible, I have tried several times, each time on hold for over an hour, with nothing. one time just to see how long it could go, i was on hold for 2hours 45min. This entire company is a joke! they can not do anything right from to customer service to delivering water. ALHAMBRA, YOU HAVE ONE JOB TO DO-DELIVER WATER! I loved the service, but I had to discontinue my service. Once I stopped they shut down my online account. I tried to pay my last bill and I couldn't log on to save my life. Changed passwords etc., nothing. I kept getting the bills in my email but couldn't log on and when I call I'm on the phone for close to an hour. I usually have to go to work or something- can't wait longer. If you press # that is for new clients they answer sooner but are aware of people trying that so they put you back in the que without helping. Just take my money please!!! Had a great experience with Alhambra (Primo) for nearly 8 years....until July '23 when we stopped receiving deliveries. Called customer service a dozen times, deliveries rescheduled and missed. Finally gave up after two months and canceled the service. Now I'm trying to get them to pick up the equipment they bill $3.99 a month for. Multiple missed pickups and more calls to customer service. I'm convinced this location has either gone out of business or has otherwise derailed. Highly recommend you find another option. read more
