Ali Baba, "The Thief" It has been over 5 years since my wife and I had lunch at the Ali Baba Mediterranean Grill. We had always enjoyed the food and service. Noticeable, a little redecorating has happened since then, both with the décor and the prices. I swear that the prices have doubled since 2018 our first visit. Fairly and appropriately up due to inflation. So significantly higher that instead of the platter we always had, we went with the more economical Chicken Shawarma sandwich. Tabouli and hummus for the sides. The sandwiches were filling. Packed with chicken and fresh salad. The pita on the sandwich and the squares for dipping were a little stale. Tabouli average and mild, but rich nutty flavored, thick hummus very good. A heavy peppering with ground sumac always brightens up the hummus and the sandwich; well, any Mediterranean food for that matter. (Sumac, yes, the same stuff that grows on the roadsides in Oklahoma.) Always ask for it. Something I forgot about, the Cardamon Iced tea. This is a refreshing, tasty drink. Ali Baba's is one of the very few Mediterranean restaurants that serves it. Try it if you haven't The service is friendly/adequate. Order at the counter. Your food is delivered to the table.

Ali Baba has slowly becoming my favorite Mediterranean restaurant in Tulsa for many different reasons. I love their combination kabob platter. Yes, the chicken kabob can be dry at times but the seasoning on their chicken is SO good. It has more of the zesty, lemon flavor than at any other places which taste DELICIOUS to me. Ali Baba has the best kabobs in the business. Ali Baba offers 6% cash back through Upside. Whenever I get food here, I get an automatic 6% discount, making the food even more affordable. The quality of their food is very consistent, at least the combination kabob platter. I had it three times already and the food was fantastic every time. Delicious kabobs, offers discounts, consistent quality...I feel like this is enough features for a 5 stars restaurant.

This is our second time here in the last week and I'm pleasantly surprised every time. The falafels are delicious, gyro/ meat is fantastic. The grape leaves and cabbage rolls are delicious. Get the grape leaves served hot. on our second trip there we got the wraps and they were beyond fantastic. I've always gotten this before for my mom and I when we had to go to the hospital for past 13 years but I've never gone in. They definitely remember you when you go in lol Reminds me of a place back home in Mpls; he made a trip yesterday from ba just to eat here! I specifically remember them used to having baba ghanoush but I guess it's only hummus now

I love gyros and have tried many around Tulsa. Time to try Ali Baba. I ordered a gyro sandwich to go. First, it was huge!! The lettuce, tomatoes, and onion were fresh and plentiful. I do wish they chopped the tomatoes for better distribution. The tzatziki was okay - maybe a tad runny for my liking, but I prefer a thicker sauce. The meat was generous -- lots of it. My issue was it was not griddled or crisped up any. While flavorful, it was all soft texture, and I like some caramlized crisp edges to help balance it out. Service was friendly and fast. I would love to have their gyros again, I just wish the meat was more to my liking.

My husband and I were visiting the area and a friend recommended this spot. It's a small restaurant, right next to a liquor store, and as someone else mentioned, it isn't much to look at, but it sure exceeded my expectations! The service was incredibly friendly, and everything on the menu looked delicious. I went with a Mediterranean platter and my husband had the kebab platter. I enjoyed it and would definitely make it a go-to spot if I lived in the area.

Ok so I was really happy w this plate. I did t kill all the rice but the chicken and beef were gone. The beef was a little on the different side but I really enjoyed it. Tender and lots of decent seasoning. The chicken wasn't too shabby either. I'd so grab it again. My friend had the pita and I'm gonna stop by and give that a shot next time!

This is probably the best Mediterranean place in Tulsa! The flavors are just great! You won't be disappointed

Enjoyed tabouli (already gone), lentil soup, and hot tea. What a great lunch on a cold day!

Gyro sandwich to go was quick and delicious!! It was $7.99. Generous amounts of meat that's exquisitely spiced and complemented with tzakiki sauce. Was kinda toasty inside the restaurant

New favorite restaurant in Oklahoma!!!…read more I've lived in the Middle East and I can tell you this place is an absolute gem for the very healthy ancient cuisine. The greedy part of me thought I shouldn't review this place because the food is so good I don't want the quality compromised by too much customer service but the food has literally compelled me to write this. Friday evening 6:30pm: the place doesn't have a single chair available, tabouli is sold out. Plan accordingly. The Mezza Platter & the Shish Kebab are winners! The tenderloin shish kebab was the best I've EVER had! The tzatziki cucumber yogurt dip was perfectly thick...not runny like other inferior restaurants. The cabbage roll was surprisingly pleasant. I liked the herb olive oil dizzle over the hummus and eggplant dip. I also enjoyed the subtle hint of charred eggplant in the background of the dip. The place is across from Natural Grocers so it's perfectly located for multiple shops and stops. Will I come back? Definitely! Honest review & not paid by anyone to write these words. Also, I'm not AI!

We're a sharing is caring group and I sampled from the other vegan items ordered. The falafel was great, the red onion and cabbage salad was great, and the red lentil soup was sooo good. The meaty meats agreed and enjoyed their vegan, vegetarian, and meat options as well. I'm glad we came in! I wasn't aware they had so many vegan items on their regular menu. This spot is going into the heavy rotation category forthwith!
