Environment - Coming in from outside as we had been walking around downtown Seattle I expected to be greeted with a nice cool ac however instead it was very warm had it not been for the water they had brought out I would have been even more uncomfortable trying to cool down. Food - We had ordered a pizza to share which was plenty for two. The ingredients tasted fresh as did the tomato sauce. The pizza crust on the outside was nice and crispy but slightly soft near the center which could have used a few more mins to crisp up. The appetizer we ordered meat and cheese plate was okay as it lacked a few of the pairings like mustard and picklings. Overall - overall the dining experience was good music was not to loud. Turtle our server ROCKED! He was totally awesome and super pleasant. I'm writing this review a month later so that just goes to show how great he and the spot was because I still remember what we ordered and his name! I got off the plane and came straight here with my boyfriend for a lovely date. The mood was romantic, cool, European, and artsy. The pizza was delicious and there were plenty of toppings available to choose from. Prices weren't outrageous. I would totally come back again next time I'm in Seattle. Our table had a slightly open window that had a planter hanging from it. There were fake candles lit up on tables and it was such a nice time. Wow! Usually places like this in the heart of a tourist attraction aren't great, Alibi Room is an exception to that rule. Located in the smelly "gum wall" area of the market, Alibi Room is a small joint that has surprisingly good food! We took advantage of their excellent happy hour menu which includes $6 apps and pizzas. We sampled the goat cheese, the hummus and the bruschetta for apps and all were great. The 1/2 priced pizzas are "mini" pizzas but plenty good sized after the apps. The dough was flavorful and chewy and the toppings were fresh and it was perfectly cooked! Service was prompt, attentive and friendly. Can't wait to come back next time I'm in town - in an area filled with a lot of tourist traps, this was a gem. read more

I find it ironic that one of the most touristy spots in Seattle is home to one of my favorite local watering holes. Take a walk down towards the infamous Gum Wall and you'll find the Alibi Room in the same alley. With minimal signage, the entrance is on the right and across from Unexpected Productions as you're heading down the slope. I feel like the Alibi Room is definitely more of a spot for locals over tourists - most likely because it's a bit hard to find if you don't know where to look. Low key and cozy, they offer happy hour until 6PM with a few beer, wells and food specials. A few of my must-trys on their happy hour menu include: - Spicy Mac & Cheese - I'm a sucker for mac & cheese in general, and this has to be one of my favorites. The spice adds just the right kick to this cheesy goodness! The happy hour option is definitely more on the individual-portion size. - Pizza - I'd say that most people go for the pizza when they visit the Alibi Room. During happy hour, you can either make your own mini pizza or choose one of their specialty pizzas at half the price. I think the mini pizza is the perfect size to share with another person. - Bruschetta & White Bean Hummus - Two separate dishes, but I wanted to note that these are great shareable options. :) The Alibi Room typically fills up closer to 6PM, so I'd advise going there a bit earlier to snag a spot. I was initially so excited to order from the Alibi Room because it seems so popular but the pizza honestly wasn't even that good. I ordered a custom pizza for takeout and I was disappointed. Although the toppings seemed high quality, the pizza itself was poorly made. The bread was pretty dull and the cheese wasn't melted thoroughly. Also there was barely any tomato sauce. It tasted like cheese bread. This may have been a one-off bad experience but as of now, the Alibi Room'a pizza is not worth the cost read more

Great service! Pizza came out fast and it was sooo good! I've been wanting to come here since I first came to Seattle (Oct 2020) but it was closed. I came back in May 21 for Mother's Day and I fell in love with it! It is tucked away so it is easily missed but once you find it and go in it's quite cozy. The customer service is beyond exceptional! We ordered a Margherita pizza and it came out in about 10 mins. My mom ordered a beer and I had a glass of red wine. We had a lovely time there! Came here on a Thursday night and had SO much fun! I had the Spicy Mac n' Cheese and some Stella & Jameson. The Mac was really good, not overly goopy and spiced well. Would recommend but next time I'll try one of their pizzas. The bartender was good however overworked - he could have used another body behind the bar because he was RUNNING. They are also open later than other bars in the area and serve food later, and are right in the heart of Pike's Place. I was recommended Alibi Room from a coworker that said it's a great place for local Seattlites and also a place hidden in the middle of all the tourist attractions. I came here on a Sunday night with my bf and it was just the right amount of people without being overly crowded but still lively. Those that are driving will certainly have issues with the parking as the restaurant is in Pike Place but if you're not, then take the chance to go and try it out! We came around 6:30pm and were seated right away. The restaurant is smallish and doesn't offer a lot of light; luckily it's also very suiting for the area and I loved the exposed brick walls. Definitely gives you a "hole in the wall" feeling and also away from the rest of Pike Place that it's a bit hidden. I can see why no one ventures here to eat as their top pick. We got a few drinks (and they have great local breweries on tap which my bf loved) and an appetizer and pizza to share. The tapanade was delicious and comes with a WHOLE ROASTED garlic!! My absolute favorite was the garlic (luckily my bf also loves garlic)! They didn't give enough bread with the appetizer but I literally just ate the rest of the spread and garlic with my pizza crust. It was heavenly with all the olive oil! The pizza we ordered was the fig, goat cheese and prosciutto because we wanted to try something new. I totally didn't pick up that the pizza had a honey drizzle which made it sweet and salty and just... Perfect! Never had a pizza like it before and we devoured it completely! Highly recommend this one if you're looking for a different type of pizza! Also thin crust and comes with 8 slices. We had a fantastic experience and I would love to come back! I'm sure on weekends, it'll be busier but I doubt that it brings in THAT many tourists compared to The Pink Door or Clam Chowder so... if you're looking for a hip, yet less touristy spot, come to Alibi Room! Our most recent Seattle trip landed us at my fave late night restaurant, the Alibi Room. Our server (Lo) was memorable for two reasons: 1) CRAZY GOOD service (she was enthusiastic, energetic, and gave us some good food recommendations); and 2) She had terrific arms. My boyfriend totally pointed out her athletic, buff arms. On top of the great service, our midnight meal included a fresh, crispy wedge salad, jameson ($7.50), a custom calzone ($12.50) and bud light ($4). This was my first time trying a calzone. It was so good! I would probably order this again (though, I do love me some good pizza by the slice!) Every time I come to Alibi I have fantastic service and good food, and they are open late serving great food and playing great music, which is a huge plus too! read more

After walking around Pike plaza, we decided we were a little bit hungry :-) this was the first place we happened upon after checking out the gum wall (as it's right on the other side). The server was awesome and was quick to get us in and get our food out to us. We started with the apple and brie with focaccia bread. That was actually really yummy :-) had a couple of Moscow mules which was refreshing after our long day out. Then we split a pizza and a salad. The brick oven pizza is pretty good. And, most importantly, they have the secret special topping that makes a pizza perfect: gorgonzola. The crust isn't quite as good as Serious Pie and it isn't quite my scene - the music is too loud and not usually to my taste (although I was enjoying the Guns N' Roses I heard tonight), and the crowd is a little more... interesting... than I prefer, but the gorgonzola will keep me coming back. The Alibi Room is conveniently locating directly across the gross gum-filled alley from Unexpected Productions, the improv theater that I visit, despite the gross alley, at least once a week, and it is also the only place in the neighborhood serving food late into the evening most nights, for when I'm too lazy to cook... or am still hungry after eating what I did cook. If you like great pizza and dive bars, or eating and drinking in desperation after 9:00 PM, this is a must visit in the Pike Place Market neighborhood. read more

Loved the atmosphere and the energy in this little hole in the wall on Pike St. We love coming here because even with a packed place they were timely on both food and drinks. We stopped here before a show at the Showbox and couldn't have walked away more satisfied. They know how to turn tables making the wait easy and the service even better. Food was on point. Came to Alibi for a quick drink after work so it wasnt a very long stay. Just go towards the gum wall and you'll see the sign for Alibi Room. Wasnt busy at all when I came in, they do have some Happy Hour specials and a good amount of food options available. Pizzas seem to be a hit here. Good amount of room to sit, saw some people working on their laptops in the corner, if you need a quick break from the Pike Place Market madness, this may be a good spot to tuck into for a bit and have a drink and relax. Friendly bartender and interesting artwork on the wall I believe is for sale too. Bathrooms downstairs, so try not to fall down. This place is listed in the "dance club" category? This is a hidden gem in Pike Place. And literally it's hidden. I could not find this place for the longest. It was in the back alley. But they have really amazing pizzas. I think it was happy hour when we came so we got 2 personalized pizzas and shared. Even for a personalized pizza they were still pretty big. We got the pizza con carne and the rustic. The rustic is a must try, it's so good. Full of savory flavors and love the garlic bites. The dough wasn't too think and the crust was crispy. We found ourselves wandering around the city for some place to eat. There was a game on and most places were packed with people. Seattlens take their football seriously...and I thought Padre fans were crazy...LOL! While lost in Seattle, we found the Alibi Room. What a great find! I like the fact that it is hidden away and dark inside. Our server welcomed us to Seattle and gave us plenty of time to peruse the menu before ordering. I chose a Mule which was perfect! We ordered the dungeness crab dip with artichoke hearts and focaccia bread. This was served hot and delicious...though I thought it would've been also great with tortilla chips. We ordered the Sausage and Basil pizza. Good crispy crust and fresh basil! Nice change from the standard pepperoni I would've ordered. I then tried their signature Fresca cocktail. Refreshing and a little fruity....LOL! Overall, a great place to chill with drinks, or for a low key meal. The couple behind us were funny to listen to. First they were in love, then they were arguing and accusing each other of not being in love, then they made up and all was right in the world...LOL! I was recommended to this place by a Seattle local on the street when we asked him for a good spot for drinks, so my friends and I decided to check it out. This was a very chill environment with good beers on tap. I did not try any of the food because I came for drinks, but the happy hour menu looked good and I was tempted to order the cheesy mac. The pizzas menu was intersting, and contained interesting toppings such as blueberries. As for their happy hour the beers and cocktails were discounted. I had the pikes place Kilt Lifter, and also tried the Winter Tea Cocktail, which was my first WARM alcoholic beverage. I'm a fan of tea, and it was still pretty strong so it was very good. My friend is a big manhattan fan, but didn't enjoy theirs at all. Oh yeah, very friendly bar staff as well. We came back at night where they had a club scene going on downstairs, although the room was very clustered and with only 2 bartenders it took too long to order a drink. Terrible service - we asked for my card atleast 2 times and a very strange Elaine looking woman told me "they didn't have it". After asking them to confirm twice, my card was magically found.
