We were riding our E-bikes along Alki Beach when we spotted this restaurant and decided to stop in. My wife wanted a Bahnmi sandwich but she had also been craving pho, so it seemed like the perfect place to check out and maybe add to our list of go-to spots when we're in town. The decor was clean and comfortable--nothing flashy, just a nice, welcoming setup. It's not a huge place, but there's a fair amount of seating, especially when you include the bar area. The overall vibe is kind of a mix between a sports bar and an Asian restaurant, with TVs in the bar showing different games, which is great if you like to catch some sports while you eat. They also have a full bar, so you can enjoy a drink with your meal or just relax with a cocktail while watching a game. My wife ordered the combo pho, and I went with the chicken and shrimp vermicelli bowl. The service was excellent--Jenni and the rest of the staff were friendly and kept checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was that the vermicelli bowl came with just two shrimp on a skewer. To get more, I had to order the shrimp skewers separately, which came with four skewers and two shrimp on each. That part could've been better, but the food itself was delicious--fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. I also liked how close it was to our Airbnb, which made it a super convenient stop after a long day. Overall, great food, great service, and we'll definitely be back next time we're in town.

Salt and pepper wings I asked them to make.

Stop by to visit my friend while she was working. I had eaten not too long ago so I just wanted wings and drinks while my friend ordered pho. I had to request if they'd do salt and pepper wings since I wasn't feeling fish sauce wings close to 9pm ahaha. Luckily, the agreed to make it. The tamarind whiskey sour is delicious, love that tartness to it and the wings were sooo good. I wasn't expecting much but they exceed my expectation. The little salad that accompanied the wings were nice to have as well. I wanted rice but I didn't want to order it. Location isn't convenient if it's busy but the space is fairly large and so cute. Will definitely come back to visit.

After completing a sunset hike, my friends and I decided to grab a meal at Alki Pho & Bar since it's close to where one of my friends live. It was surprisingly busy at Alki for parking. We luckily found parking less than a block away from the restaurant. Our group of four was seated right away. It wasn't busy inside given we arrive around 8PM. There were two other groups inside. The restaurant closes at 9PM. I ordered a small Combination Pho and we shared the Sweet Potato Fries. The fries were very HOT. They were freshly made and delicious. The pho was a great meal to have after hiking in the dark!

Great ambiance and great patio for your fur babies. Food was all great, my fav was the chow mien and salad for sure. Staff is friendly and attentive. Vy's the best!

Yellow curry (I got veggies instead of potatoes) was great but needed heat and pepper.

Decided to try this spot randomly alone. The male server who helped me seemed pretty confidant and was in tu e with my needs for hot sauce and water refills so kudos to him. He also let me modify my meal a little bit to my liking. The yellow curry was good, but lacking it flavor. I had to doctor it up quite a bit. I was happy with the veggies though. My only complaint really is they had the same kinda sad song on for like the whole 45 minutes I was here. Honestly I'm right between 3 and 4 stars. They do carry my favorite tequila so that's nice, though I wasn't drinking. I really liked the ambiance with the door open and outside seating area on this beautiful sunny day.

Came here on a Sunday around 12:00pm. Got seated quick. Balcony to see view and inside seating. Got the brisket pho. Plenty of noodles and it came out hot. Taste wise was good. Meat was thin however a lot of fatty pieces more than just the meat. Got the mango juice tasted like dole juice not freshly squeezed. Overall, for price to taste it was good for a one time try.

I've eaten pho from Alki pho since it opened but always as a takeout. We finally dined there and it didn't disappoint. The food was great as always, the oxtail pho is my favorite. Service from start to finish was so friendly and accommodating. We also ordered the beef short ribs. So delicious. We look forward to dining here again soon.

Food is always delicious and always comes out quickly! The service is always great as well. I will say their peanut sauce isn't super peanut-y but that's all preference!

Delicious food, decent prices, lots of food for your buck. Service was fast and no wait time to be seated. Loved the beach view. We'll be back!

Yes we do have vegan options and vegan pho :)

Is this restaurant dog friendly?

It is, our friend had their dog with us.

Service was very quick Mala Spicy Beef Dry Mix Noodles (medium spice), 5/5, delicious!! I think the medium was the perfect spice level for me where it wasn't too little or too much and I thought this was quite filling. I was very hungry as I didn't have lunch so I finished the whole bowl but I think if you were eating normally you could have a bit to take away as well! One or two big plush noodles plus all the seasonings and oil oil oil to boot. What's not to love. Keep your loved ones close but your Tums closer with this one. The apps aren't bad either but it's a heaping bowl- I almost always have leftovers (pro tip is to boil more noodles at home and add them so the meal literally keeps giving for a while) Go early or be prepared to wait. The turnover is wicked fast here you literally order and get your noodles like 1 minute later, and it's majorly slurpable so I feel like you finish pretty quick! Also there's a nice fish tank to look at while you're seated.

Since my last review the restaurant has closed and reopened, and expanded their menu, to now include more dumplings and varieties of noodles. They also now have a very handy duo of ordering kiosks, which you order at prior to sitting down. I found their kiosks easy to use, which isn't always a given. This being my first visit back in a while, I had to get the spicy cumin lamb biang biang noodles. However I had to try some dumplings, so we shared the lamb dumplings, while my dinner buddy had the spicy cumin lamb rice noodle soup (the same kind of noodles you'd get at a ten second yunnan noodle type of place). They also now have a complimentary side dish bar that has seaweed salad, peanuts, and kimci, as well as some condiment type things like scallions and minced garlic. I helped myself to some seaweed salad to nibble on while waiting for our food, and it was good although food comes out quickly enough that you don't necessarily have to rely on it unless you're really chomping at the bit. The spicy cumin lamb biang biang noodles are just as good as I remember. The biang biang noodles here are perfectly chewy, and the rest of the dish has a lovely flavor aside from just spice. They're generous with lamb and cabbage which add a lot of textural variety to the plate. The lamb dumplings were the sleeper hit of the meal, filled with juicy, tender hunks of lamb surrounded by toothsome clearly hand-rolled wrappers. Absolutely do not skip the lamb dumplings. My dinner buddy really enjoyed her rice noodle soup with spicy cumin lamb, which I think would be a great option on a cold day. Everything is pretty much self serve here, so don't expect full service -- although they did stop by to refill our water once. The food here is so good, though, and prices are so reasonable, that I truly do not care that the experience is pretty bare bones otherwise.

I had ordered the regular spice, but for me, I would've chosen the spicer one as I like spice but wanted to be safe. There was lots of really good flavors. The overall space and bathroom was very clean and a great spot for lunch!

My friend and partner received their food and I got something I didn't order (tofu skin on rice balls) so my partner got up and asked the cashier about if this was included in the Tsukiji combination that I ordered and was told yes. We checked several other times about the order after two of my other friends who ordered after us also received their orders along with many other people in the restaurant also getting their food who arrived way after us, and the waiter said 10-15 minutes multiple times. Over 1.5 hours later I finally got my food after I asked to have it to go and if we could have one entree for free since I had been waiting since 5:35pm. The cashier said sorry and that they wouldn't charge for the correction. The rice balls that I didn't order and were given had undercooked grains and were not good. I was really disappointed and sad (and hungry!) because I came here for a special occasion because I have liked this place, and was among the first to order right when they opened and didn't get to enjoy food with my friends. It was frustrating that we checked multiple times and it took them so long to figure out they had made a mistake and then took so long to remedy the situation and they still charged us for food we didn't order. I give a star for the waiter who eventually did try to figure out what happened with the order and who seemed genuinely apologetic, and who gave us plates for my bday cake. Thank you! The cashier also said they would not charge us for my food, but we were charged for the wrong item and it had undercooked rice grains :( Atmosphere is cute and authentic. Food got 1 star because other people in my party got their food and seemed ok with it! Sad that I won't be going here anymore or recommending this place to others anymore based on this poor service and food experience. We had previously Introduced many of our friends to this place.

This place is a true gem, serving satisfying, delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere at an affordable price. The restaurant looks small from the front, but space is used efficiently and they manage to fit quite a bit of seating into not that large of a dining room. Tables are mostly four tops, quite spacious at that, and surrounded by sturdy wooden chairs. I came for dinner on a Friday evening and there were a few other tables at any given time. Service was quick and our water never ran empty. We had the wontons in hot oil, topped with peanuts, I had the beef chow fun, and my dinner buddy had the pork with hot sauce noodles. The wontons are very very good, stuffed with flavorful pork and swimming in a sauce that sits in that perfect spot at the intersection of hot and sour. The peanuts and scallions add a delightful crunch. Their beef chow fun satisfies every bit of childhood nostalgia I have for this dish, with lots of wok hei, bouncy noodles, and the most tender of beef. I think my favorite beef chow fun in the city still lives at A+ Hong Kong Kitchen, but this is a close second. The portion here is also huge. I am a human vacuum and I actually brought leftovers home, which is rare for me. The pork with hot sauce noodles is seemingly a fusion of zha jiang mian and dan dan noodles. My friend really enjoyed it and actually finished the whole thing, which is saying something given that she doesn't usually eat that much. When we went in, it was pretty empty. We were immediately sat, and ordered. The hot jasmine tea quickly followed. Our Calamari came out quick and was delicious to the point I nearly had to fight my son for the last piece. I quickly surrendered as he does stab people...see above...he parried my fork and stabbed the last piece before quickly finishing the move. Our mains came out shortly after we finished the calamari. The 14yo ordered beef brisket noodle soup. He said it was delicious, but too spicy after he added too much chili oil. The wife scoffed at the idea that there's such a thing as too much chili oil and ate some of his soup. This was after she dug into her hot pot. I did get a chance to sample the delicate pork pieces and the flavorful rice. The slightly crispy rice at the bottom of the pot were so delicious. I had the Singapore style fried noodles. Really tasty. The noodles had so many flavors from the vegetables to the meats (shrimp, chicken meat & egg, and pork) and the sauce. I enjoyed the meal, and look forward to discovering more dishes to try on our adventures trying to find parking. JuFeng, thank you for the delicious meal!
