Wanted to try a new place in the area and saw Alki Pho & Bar. Nice, modern, clean and cozy restaurant with a bar. Not something you see everyday when going to a pho place! Great customer service. They had a nice selection of cocktails, wine and beer. I went with coconut juice though and it was the best I've had in a while. My partner ordered a couple different cocktails to try and the drinks did not disappoint. Combo pho was delicious! Large size was big enough to share. Enjoyed the yummy beef ribs plate too, again big enough to share. We ended up ordering golden chicken wings to try and that was also really good! read more

First time coming here since it opened a couple months ago, highly recommend! This is definitely one of my favorite pho places in west seattle alongside my childhood favorite pho aroma. The staff here are incredibly sweet, we were checked on multiple times and my friend was able to add mango to her ice tea easily upon request. We both ordered pho and it came out within 5 minutes, even before our drinks which came out shortly after! We sat outside, but the indoor dining looked really nice so we'll have to try that next time. The menu has a lot of options; I saw fried rice, pho, vermicelli bowls, banh mi, etc. The pho was maybe a bit more expensive ($16) than what I normally pay for pho but it's worth it. read more

I think fish balls that were cut in half and they were kind of weird but I did like the taste. The menu here is pretty focused on pho (surprise!), which is usually what we come for and it never disappoints. There are a handful of other things on the menu (mostly Asian-themed like teriyaki or noodles), and everything we've tried has been really good. I always judge a place by how quickly they greet you with a friendly smile, seat you, give you a menu and a glass of water and they did all of these exceptionally well with an awesome attitude! Came in yesterday, really clean and big open space. Was 94 degrees but wasn't that hot sitting inside. Bathroom was clean. The food was great, ordered a large combo pho and passion fruit ice tea-- a great amount of meat and noodle ratio. The broth was really nice. My friends ordered a banh mi and it came with waffle fries and the chicken vermicelli bowl, and let me tell you those were the best waffle fries i've had!! Super crunchy and well seasoned. Can't speak for the bowl and banh mi but they also said it was really good. The tea was very refreshing and nice to have since it was super hot out. The serving size was super nice and reasonably priced. The employees were very welcoming and attentive. Overall great food and experience. My son and I got there at 11:55 and ordered right away. Two bowls of pho and fried egg rolls. The egg rolls came in short order and were good. We waited for 30 minutes before we got up to leave because it was a lunch HOUR. The pho wasn't anywhere close to being presented to the table. The waiter was as accommodating as he could be, but we had to get food somewhere and eat it before he had to be back to work. We probably won't be back because it shouldn't take that long for food at lunch rush. read more

Welcomed restaurant on Alki! My daughter and I were promptly seated. It was half full for lunch & our server was great. I really enjoyed to food and so did my daughter. I ordered the pork fresh rolls to start & the papaya salad w/steak, I wasn't disappointed. My daughter had Pho and asked to modify w/more veggies which they gladly accommodated. The food is a bit pricey from other Vietnamese places but they do have to pay the bills for a spot on Alki. They also have a full bar and the place looks great. Oh, Alki Pho! This is thee spot for pho. I've tried most of the menu items here and I have loved it all. My favorite bowl of pho is the Short Ribs.. my goodness! Meat falling of the bone, perfected broth, noodles of the right consistency, and photo worthy! Sandwiches are excellent and the rice dishes are great too. The alki sampler is a go to appetizer dish on date nights. The restaurant is kept clean with plenty of seating options. You can grab a table with beach views or a booth inside for comfort. Food was below average, not much flavor in the pho, also condiment options were limited. The limeade was good but not worth $6. The service was okay, they took along time to bring the food despite there only being a few people, the two people I came with had their food come out 10 minutes before mine. They also forgot to give us our check and if we hadn't paid ourselves they would have let us go. I also saw one of the servers make a customer a cup of coffee and used instant coffee powder and opened the packet with her mouth. Ambiance was okay, but the music was horrible, a lot of horrible acoustic covers of songs. Food was over priced and not that good, most likely won't be back. read more

Let me start off by saying I really like this restaurant. I like the food -the location, the drinks and the staff. So much so I'm thinking about getting a credit card to the place ! I am not a restaurant critic for the SEATTLE TIMES so I know I do not carry much weight. However -I still have an issue which I have mentioned before. That is - all the beef dishes come with a fair amount of gristle still attached. The trimming of the beef leaves a lot to be desired. I think it is a quality control issue and I think the prepping chefs need to be held accountable for this. on my last visit- my extra plate held quite a bit of gristle. not the way to do things. I think this is a very good restaurant that could be an excellent restaurant if they paid a little bit more attention to detail. One final note, I think business would be increased,and the ambulance would be increased if they put an awning from the front of the building out to the railings that encloses the outdoor seating. Been in Washington for a year now and this is the best pho that I've had thus far not to mention their prices are reasonable too! Service was great and fast! Food came out a lot faster that I would have thought. It's a nice ambiance across from Alki beach.
