I asked a lot of questions too but there was never a time where she was rushing me. All the people that are eating around us looks so satisfied with their meal. The Decorations in the restaurant were minimal but classy. I heard it was from Vietnam. The detailed silverwares and the sauce containers were pretty. Other Pho restaurants just have their sauces in a bottle but they took their time to put it in a little container for the aesthetic. Im all for pretty aesthetics! I ordered "Pho Xe Lua" and my mom ordered their "short rib pho." Both were enough to fill us up. The meats on the bones fell right off. Super shocked by that! Super tender and juicy! The broth was super flavorful. I thought Im going to need sauce but I ended up not using their sauces which is a good thing. To add onto that, they give you free noodles if you choose to want more ! Usually theres charge but in this restaurant its FREE! My mom ordered the herbal tea and I order the Matcha Coconut its so refreshing. Our server brought us the wrong drink. We had to flag him down to bring the correct drink. He also gave us a new bowl of pho broth that was hot. The second batch of noodles were cooked just right, al denté. The beef bone was really good and so is the other meat. That's the only positive aspect of the food. The pho lacks taste that I had to add some hoisin sauce to it. I usually don't add anything to my pho soup but I had to do it on this one. The fries were overpriced and not much difference in taste as regular French fries. There was a lot of people though on a Saturday so they must like it. The parking was also challenging and had to walk a long way to get to the restaurant. The service was efficient although we feel rushed since there were some people waiting outside. First place coming here and will be going back! We went on a Saturday around 5 pm and were surprised to be seated right away. I guess we got lucky! From the start, our waiter was super attentive. I believe his name was Adrian. Within two minutes of being seated, he brought water for our table. Once we ordered, our drinks and pho were brought back less than 10 minutes. I got the pho chin, and from the first taste, I fell in love. A friend of ours never had pho, and she was also enthralled with it all. Despite getting different orders, we all were pleased with the taste. In all, for all four phos and drinks, it was $85 (not including tip). With tip, it was about $98. I had the phò xe lùa, described in their menu as "a combination of thinly sliced beef belly, beef heel, beef tendon, meatballs, braised brisket and flank, one short rib and ox tail for a variety of textures and flavors." My goodness!! It was my first time here and it was amazing. Already walked in and loved how the restaurant was designed. Got some friendly service!! We ordered the food and was waiting patiently. Apparently they got our order wrong, but they still let us keep one of the bowls since we didn't want to waste the food. After fixing the boo-boo, we got our bowls and grubbed.
