I bought my new 2012 Ford Fusion out of state, but decided to bring it to All American Ford in Paramus for service - a garage attendant broke one of my mirrors. I have never experienced such incredible service from a dealership. Pete and the rest of the gang couldn't have been nicer or more professional. The waiting areas in the service department are very comfortable with wifi and hot coffee and bagels. When they told me my car would have to stay overnight because they had to order a part, they drove me home! All American Ford has spoiled me and I will never go any place else. read more

I've had my vehicle serviced a few times at All American Ford- the service and experience has not deviated from being worse than the insulting, rude and maddening experience at the DMV. I will work hard to avoid any further interaction with this establishment- I value my time and sanity too much. They have a new reservation system for service- I made a reservation, arrived 15 minutes early for the appointment; the cashier lady gave me attitude before telling me I had to talk to one of the service agents. 2 guys are hardly working, one of which went missing for about 10 minutes as the line piled up; finally I have the opportunity to talk to an agent- and tell him I have an appointment, he basically scoffs at the idea that I'd want to wait b/c it's going to be 2 or 3 hours. It's clear that his goal is to give me bad enough news that I will jump out of cue and get out of his hair- I obliged. I was banned from All American Ford Hackensack and Paramus for writing a bad review. I just got my car fixed in under 30 minutes at a different unaffiliated Ford dealership. Wow! I like the vehicle I purchased a lot, but I was stunned to find out they either sold or shared my contact information with a third party. I am getting repeated phone calls on my cell phone from telemarketers from SirusXM Radio to activate the service in my new vehicle. Now how the hell would SirusXM get my cell phone number? This a frightening violation of trust. I WILL NEVER do business with them again and I wanted to warn folks of this violation of privacy that occurred both without my permission and certainly against my will. There are many, many other options to purchase a vehicle. I am very, very disappointed in this unethical behavior. I am leasing my car from All American Ford in Hackensack. This is my 2nd Ford. I had no problems with the 1st dealership but I learned that this one offered a free loaner car when your car is in for service. I found this to be a great perk since we are a one car family and I need mine for work. I tried twice to have it serviced but was told I can't get a loaner. I can't be without a car & I shouldn't have to rent a car because I need a few things fixed on my car. This is not standard maintenance. There are problems with the car that should all be under the warranty. The main issue is that the car will just shut off when I sit at a light. It has happened 3 times. My daughter shouldn't have to deal with this driving home alone at night. I spoke to the service department and got nowhere. I was told this is because of Covid. If you can spray my car to disinfect it it you can spray the loaner car. If I can rent a car you can rent me a car. I also emailed the general manager Joe Fisher a week ago and got no reply. I purchased a commercial van from these guys back in November 2011. Part of their pitch was that Ford was offering a "commercial upfit" credit up to $1750.00 on the vehicle. All I had to do was buy the van and install some commercial racks, toolboxes etc. I had a glass rack installed and submitted the paperwork totaling over $2000. in equipment. The fiasco then began - we faxed over the paperwork 4 times because they claimed not to have it and have made over 22 phone calls to date with countless promises to call us back and still have not resolved this. Now going on close to six months and nothing from them. I would never purchase another vehicle from these guys because they have forgotten completely about this customer after the sale. read more

Besides having a wonderful staff when you are buying a car if you get denied it takes you FOREVER to get your refund of whatever deposit you left. I have already called 3-4 times and left 2 voicemail's, even went in to the store to get my deposit back and have been given the run around ever since. Would NOT recommend doing business here if you don't have great credit, because once denied they will make you wait weeks. My service advisor, Steve, was super helpful. He was prompt to keep me updated on all the progress of my car, and he was very considerate of cost. I had a great experience! I'm usually impressed by All American Ford's exceptional customer service but I wasn't exactly pleased after my last service appointment. A few days after having my car serviced, I noticed that my GPS device was missing. I always lock my car and I'm the only person with a set a keys to my car. I sent All American Ford an email as soon as I realized what happened. The service adviser at All American Ford was nice enough to call me the very next day. She said that she would pass the information along to a manager. It's been over a week and I never heard back from them again. I'm guessing that they either don't believe me or simply don't care. read more

I leased a Ford Escape for my daughter. Experience was easy and price I got was great. This is the 3rd car that my family has leased from AAF and we will keep coming back. Joe Fisher was very easy to work with. I had some issues with some rear 1/4 panel on her old Hyundai Elantra that we were turning in. We got a very fair price for the repairs and probably saved a bunch of money doing the repairs through them. This will not be the last car I or my family leases from All American Ford! read more

My wife and I purchase a car back in June of 2015. I went through TrueCar and received a certificate for a vehicle guaranteed in stock, by VIN. I arrived at the dealership and was immediately redirected to different vehicles and was told the vehicle I wanted wasn't in stock or didn't have the options I had listed. I spent THREE AND A HALF HOURS "negotiating" for what was listed in the TrueCar certificate. I was owed a remote start that needed to be installed by an outside vendor. Coordinating the install was another nightmare. There was an active resistance to provide a loaner car which resulted in constant postponement of the install until my wife finally had to commit a day to sit at the dealership and wait for the work to be done. Additionally, when I got home, I realized the '"all-weather" floor/cargo mats were missing. I called the salesman right away and he told me it would be rectified when we came back in. Trusting that the dealership had made the necessary arrangements and had an interest in providing quality service, my wife showed up without a written IOU for the required work. When she arrived, the salesman was not working and the service manager was belligerent and rude. The service manager said, "I'm not doing anything without a "we owe you" and "it's not our fault you waited to have this done." They finally produces the "we owe you" for the remote start but refused to produce the floor mats. Regardless of the circumstances, this attitude is unacceptable! I was warned by friends to avoid this dealership and I regret not heading that advice. read more

Wow. After reading through these reviews it disheartened me because my experience at the dealership was pleasant and they actually matched the price of another dealership. Although the process took a little longer than anticipated, Mr. Watson bought my family lunch (from a delicious restaurant nearby). Please go in and ask for Eddie Watson, as he was a pleasure to work with and is a genuinely good person. He is straightforward and one of the only honest car salespeople I have ever done business with. Eddie walked us through the purchasing process and eloquently illustrated/explained how the Sync gadget worked. Although the leasing/finance process lacked transparency, I decided not to back out because of Eddie. I leased a new 2016 Ford Explorer Limited (yes, I am the first one in my neighborhood with it). From my experience (and perspective) if you want a good sales experience go see Mr. Eddie Watson. He is a very nice man and will treat you like family. To that note, please do your due diligence regarding financing/leasing on the Ford vehicle of your choice and know your credit score and options. This dealership may lack transparency on that end BUT, if you go there knowing that side of the equation, Mr. Eddie Watson would most definitely be a pleasure on the sales side. I normally do not write reviews however I feel I would be doing the buying world a disservice if I did not relay my sales experience with Mr. Eddie Watson. There should be more salespeople like this. Hopefully the service department does well with me; if yes, they may have a customer for life. Three years goes very fast and in this business customer lifetime value is critical for sustainability. These people are really weasels. Took 2005 Ford Escape in for a problem. Told them very specifically that the car had almost 200k miles on it and we didn't want to put a lot of money into it. What imbeciles - they charged us $3000 and never fixed the original problem. Then came back and told us it would cost another $800. I would never buy from them or use them. How they they get away with claiming to be #1 in service is beyond comprehension. Really borders on criminal the way the mislead and gouge there customers. They should be investigated. read more

I will leave this here and you can make up your own mind. I was looking for a king ranch f150. I searched the tri-state area and found a couple of them. One was in jersey city ford. (65 miles) away from me. I called them up and spoke to Anthony. I told him I saw the King Ranch on there website, and wanted to know if they still had it and is it still available? He checked and told me that he has it and it's available.... I said great I am coming from Long Island and I want to drive it home the same day is that a problem? He told me no. In and out in about an hour. I was a little skeptical but I said great news I'll see you Saturday first thing 9 o'clock. I called him on Friday to confirm our appointment on Saturday and to make sure the truck was still there. He told me to trucks there and I'll be out no later by 1030 in the morning I said great I'll see you then. I had a funny feeling all night long. so I get up and I drive all the way out to Jersey City Saturday morning I walk in and ask for Anthony. The receptionist gets another salesman and says Anthony is not here yet. I explained that I was speaking to him all week long and I would like him to help me since he knows everything. She gets another salesman anyway I thought that was weird but I went along because I just wanted my truck and go back home. So I talk to the new salesman and showed him the truck on their website that I wanted. He says OK I got the stock number I'll go get it. After like five minutes he comes back with a manager. The manager tells me that they don't have the truck the truck is in route and they won't have it for another week or so. Told me I could buy the truck today and they could ship it to my house. I told him that Anthony told me that he had the truck here and I could drive it away in less then a hour. That's why I came all the way to you so I can drive it home today. I said he knew I was coming is that why he won't come out and sell me a truck? I told him that the finance manager knew I was coming to pick up the truck today cause I asked for the loan information so I can get it for my insurance company. This ford dealer is the worst I ever encountered out of all dealers!!!! The lack of professionalism and honesty is truly amazing.!!!! They just want you in the door so they can try and sell you anything they can. Obviously I just walked right out and left... But the story has a happy ending!!!!!! I happened to call all American Ford up in Hackensack New Jersey it was only an extra 20 minutes away I spoke to a manager named Mark, I told him I was looking for an F150 King Ranch and ask him if he had any in stock. he told me he would look and call me back. In 5 minutes he called me back telling me he has a couple of them in stock and he would have someone from the dealership drive me to the parking lot so I can pick one out. I said great I will be right there. As soon as I arrived I ask to see Mark. While I was waiting for him I saw a beautiful ruby red king ranch on the showroom floor. It had everything I wanted.... As I was looking at the truck he came over to me and introduced himself. I told him no need to take a ride I want this one!!!!! And I bought it. All American Ford was professional, honest..... Do not take your vehicle to this dealership. I asked them to investigate why my running board lights suddenly stopped working...when I came to pick up my truck the service advisor informed me that the wiring had "rotted away" and "there was nothing they could do" ....my truck was 6 months old at the time...he continued:...."having running board lights are more trouble than they are worth, this happens all the time, you're better off without them, learn to live without the lights".... When I questioned what exactly the problem was I was informed that the wiring will always rot away under the truck and cause lights such as these not to work, so "why bother!?", "nothing we can do!, it is what it is!" ...and my favorite line of all:....."my buddy sells these and he spends more time giving refunds than anything else so that should tell you something"... Hmmmm....2016 and nothing can be done to protect wires underneath a truck!!? ...and why does your so called buddy continue to sell running board lights if it's a pointless exercise? The bullshit level here is staggering... Since driving my truck away and pondering the situation I noticed miscellaneous wires (that they cut) hanging down underneath the truck... Upon further inspection i found they completely removed my running lights without telling me, why?...WTF!??? Typical dealer bullshit. I have since refitted new running board lights and have had no problems. These guys are cowboys who don't really seem to give a shit. read more

NOT FOR FIRST TIME BUYERS!! Do your research on kbb.com first. I almost drove away with a car for $17000 then I found the same car on kbb.com for $6000 less. It's a bit of a drive for the car but for that price I'm willing to drive over an hour. I put down the $500 deposit for the car. They had to bring it in from a different dealership.Monday night I went on kbb.com and found the cheaper car. The dealership closed so I called them Tuesday morning. I knew the salesman wasn't in on Tuesday. I told the person I spoke to that I decided against buying the car and would like my deposit back. She said the ONLY person who can do this is the salesman I saw on Monday. THIS IS NOT TRUE! A store manager could have done this for me. The receptionist didn't mention anything about speaking to a manager. If I had known a manager could have fixed this for me I would have asked for one. So the falt is someone in the middle; I should have asked to speak to a manager and the receptionist should have suggested I speak to the manager. Also, the receptionist should have known that a manager could have also helped me. My boyfriend and I went to the dealership yesterday to try to get my deposit back. I was not able to get my deposit back and when we left the salesman I delt with didn't say a word to us. Sorry you lost a sale buddy. You sell cars all day! It's one sale, GET OVER IT!! Went above and beyond in getting my 2017 GT. This dealership helped me build my new toy, a 670hp Roush supercharged Mustang GT. They also went down to Virginia to get the car of my choice since no local dealer had my color and options so I would not have to wait 2 months for one to arrive. I know it was a lot of work tracking the car down because the salesman worked on getting my car for a week or two. Once they located my car, they installed special ordered parts for my car and the salesman Julian always kept me informed of the progress and sent me pictures along the way. Bottom line is they went out of their way to earn my business. I got a similar discount from other dealer offerings. This dealer seems to have a large selection as well. No smoke and mirrors here. Yesterday I signed a lease at the All American Ford in Hackensack and I only have amazing things to say about them! To begin, I had a quite horrifying experience at the Ramsey Subaru dealership just a couple days ago. The salesman and I came to a handshake agreement on the price on an impreza and I signed paperwork with the finance department. I signed the title of my car over, ready to drop off the trade in and pick up my new car until.... 20 minutes before my appointment to pick up the car, I received a call from the finance department telling me my payments were going to be $50 more a month. Since this clearly wasn't happening, I made them refund my deposit and I went straight to ford. I was in an out of the dealership with a brand new 2017 Ford Escape SE in one hour. In addition to that, I'm paying less for the fully loaded BEAUTIFUL SUV than I was for the baseline Subaru. The General Manager Joe and the salesman Rudy were incredibly helpful, accommodating, friendly, and a pleasure to be around! Rudy and I jammed out to Michael Jackson in the test ride because the sound system is obviously important! Carlos in the finance department was clear, thorough, quick and organized. The overall experience was great from start to finish and I highly recommend this dealership if you care about great customer service and have your back while these other dealerships try to screw you over. read more

I had high hopes for this place. I went the first time and was left un attended. I received numerous calls from the general manager who apologized for this and another salesman to get me to go back there. I finally went back, the salesman was busy and I never met the general manager who "promised to make it up to me with an amazing deal." The last salesman was not helpful in the sense that he didnt want to work any numbers and only talked negative points in the deal. I told him about my exchange with the GM and their advertisements and he through them under the bus by saying that its "a sales pitch to get people to come in but its the opposite." I couldn't believe what I heard and he didn't like the fact that I knew everything about the car I wanted. I will take my business to another dealer where I had a positive experience with people who are much more respectful and genuinely nicer and realistic with their approach and selling points. read more

They kindly had a shuttle service, which dropped me off at a designated place while my car was being serviced. They however, left me there for almost an hour after I called to be picked up. I understand they only have 2 shuttles; all I wanted was a an estimated time.... I got nothing except excuses. An apology would've kept this review up to 4 star.... read more

We gave them a copy of the email sent by the dealer saying not to pay because they'd deal with it. But Ford says they were never called and now our credit rating is threatened. bought a 2008 ford escape from a dealer....constant dash light on and off then the car died as I was driving it..dealer sends us to Ford because there was a warranty...it took ford 5 days to look at my car then wanted to charge 4 times what anyone else would charge to do the job....when we sent a tow truck to get it out of there they refused to release my car unless they were paid for their diagnostics ..ok fine...we paid, but they never ever mentioned the fees in the 25 calls that went back and forth...but the topper was that the tow had to wait for over an hour because they could not locate my car...apparently it had been "tossed" in the back. Jason I believe was the specialist.... you can keep ford and this place...they were horrible and my car still is not fixed...what a scam. now i see why the get such a bad rap...I never bought Ford before and i never will again. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! WORST DEALERSHIP EVER!! Too many bad experiences to list them all. The service is none existent. We couldn't even get an oil change in a timely manner. Our car wasn't even looked at after 2 days on more than one occasion with multiple excuses and the run around. Finally, after speaking to a dozen people in various departments, I finally got someone to admit the real reason. Turns out they were backed up and had no intention of looking at our car for 7 days!!! I was furious they took my car and never told me they wouldn't get to it for a week. When I questioned the manager about it I was told, "That's just how all service stations work". Wrong!! Thought I would just never buy from this dealership again but when I called headquarters customer service I was directed to a call station in the Philippines where they took my information and told me they would send it to the sales manager at the dealership. Awful service. Questionable sales tactics. Second bad experience with this dealership within one year. First was on the Sales end. I was interested in a new 2014 Explorer limited last summer, because of incentives, and was told, by their telemarketing sales rep that there were a few on the lot. I checked the web site in order to verify. I immediately drove down there and was told they don't have any. We're only showing '15 models. I asked about the phone rep & web intentory that A) He was wrong and B) They only update the web inventory at the end of the month. I mumbled something about Bait & Switch and stormed off. I bought a 2013 instead as a low mileage trade at another local dealership. Made an appointment for a warranty service with these guys along with routine maintenance. After arrangements to drop off, skip lunch,etc, I received a call from Jason that they were unable to get to my repairs. Isn't that what appointments are for. I asked if he can commit to another day if I rescheduled. He replied that any dealer who tells you that is lying to you. I've been driving Audis for years and have had dealer service at both Town & Jack Daniels. Never a problem. Still own a 2004 Explorer purchased originally from Tenafly Ford. Never a service problem. Just leased our second Explorer from them. Julian Santiago was our sales person. When discussing about registration we told him we wanted our plates transferred, he kept pushing for a new plates. He said our registration expires in November. I told him I do t mind paying again for renewal because the old plates have our initials and had them for years. He said ok not a problem we will have to pay for a new plates and then will receive a check back. He wrote on the envelope transfer plates. Three weeks later on June 15th we received an envelope with new plates and a note saying they could not transfer the plates because the lease in on my wife's name and the old registration was on my name. This should have explained to us before we leased the car or I would have put the lease on my name. When I called and asked to speak to the General Manager Joe Fisher, he said let me find out what is going on and he would call me back. He never did, some nice lady Cindy Hill called to let me know that she had no answer why this happened and she doesn't know how they did it the first time. She said I would have to fill out a credit application pay $70 and add my name as a coo-buyer. I told her I'd like to speak the Joe Fisher the General Manager. She put me on hold, three minutes later she said Joe is on the phone with the owner he will call me. Waited no phone call. I emailed her saying I will not fill out any paperwork before I spoke with Joe. She replayed back "I understand". Still no phone call from the General Manager. Today June 17th 2017 I called Mr Joe Fisher to let him know that I will keep the new plates and let him know that I will NEVER EVER go back to All American Ford. I would expect an apology from the General Manager who is the leader and the face of All American Ford but I guess they don't care. I am trying to find out who the owner is and send him a personal letter because obviously their management team doesn't care. We were going to go back there and get a pick up truck for my father in law but this will not happen and I will make sure people I know will NOT get a car from All American Ford. read more

Ever since I purchased my Ford Explorer from a different dealership, someone recommended All American Ford to me. I met with a guy named Ken White. He works in the service area. Every time I bring my truck in for repairs, he is always so kind to me and takes care of my truck. I highly recommend this dealership for all your service needs. Go see Ken. All American Ford made a fool out of us and themselves. They sold us a lease under false pretense. My husband and I are moving out of NYC and will need a car due to the amount of traveling I will be doing at my new job. I told him that the only thing I wanted and that will make my travels more convenient was Sirius XM. My husband recently went into All American Ford to start discussions on a lease. He mentioned that he had a pleasant experience while working with Kacie and her team. He informed them how important it was for me to have Sirius XM and they promised we would receive a free 6 month trial and discussed monthly rates thereafter. Ultimately, they agreed on a 3 yr lease. My husband had to wait a couple of days while they got the car from a sister dealership. When the car was ready for pick up, my husband took a bus from NYC and walked 2 blocks in the rain. Kaci then alerted him that the car did NOT have Sirius XM. Confused, my husband reminded her of the deal that was made. There's nothing they can do about it, just an apology. If we knew the car didn't have Sirius XM capabilities then we wouldn't have gotten the car and Kacie and her team were fully aware of this. And Kacie had the nerve to ask my husband to fill out a positive survey or else "she wouldn't get paid for the deal." Yes Kacie, right away! They made a fool out of us. They sold the car under false pretense. That's, if not illegal, UNETHICAL. If they tell you one thing, make sure you ask for a detailed explanation. I'm really disappointed.
