A new Indian restaurant has opened in Arcadia, and we had a great first visit. The manager/owner, Simran, personally came by to introduce himself, which was a thoughtful touch. He mentioned they're still in their soft opening phase and also run the location in Old Town Pasadena. I ordered the chicken tikka masala, my brother chose the lamb curry, and my husband got the eggplant appetizer, a Frankie wrap, and the fish curry. We all agreed the food was flavorful, authentic, and served in generous portions. The naan was fresh and perfectly cooked, so good! My husband couldn't stop raving about the Frankie, which is essentially a full meal wrapped up in one delicious Indian burrito. I'm can't wait to return and try items from their street food menu, which looked amazing. There's parking available in the back as well as street parking in front. The decor is trendy, and the stunning mural featuring peacocks adds a meaningful visual touch, beautifully connecting Arcadia and Indian culture. read more

This local family-owned restaurant serves the BEST Indian food I've ever had and I'm absolutely thrilled they've opened a new location closer to us! Everything is fresh and so full of flavor and I love that they use natural ingredients and make their naan bread fresh to order. We've loved everything we've tried and the owner and staff are truly lovely people! They opened up this new Arcadia restaurant only a couple of weeks ago. We went for an early dinner and ordered one of my faves off their street food menu to start - the Gulabi Farfalle - as well as some new items like the shrimp chat and nirvana curry with fish. We also got a side of saffron rice and garlic naan. The Gulabi Farfalle is such an interesting marriage between the Indian and Italian food genres - it's a creamy tomato curry sauce with Farfalle pasta and it's divine! Their shrimp chat was a pleasant surprise. I adore chat dishes and theirs was the best I've had - fresh with prominent hints of citrus, generous portions of large succulent shrimp, and the chat textures were just beautiful. We also loved the nirvana curry - the fish was so light and flaky and the coconut based curry was flawless - creamy and decadent without being overly heavy. And the garlic naan - omggg it's SO DELICIOUS! They make it only when ordered - fresh in house so it's not sitting and drying out - it's so crispy and delightful. This family really are masters of their craft! At their Pasadena location we've tried the Pani Puri shots, various curries, their paneer, and basmati rice - all of it excellent and it seems that they have much of the same menu here in Arcadia. The ambiance here is elegant and chic with some beautiful murals on the walls as well as paintings and decor. They have comfy booths and tables with nice views of Huntington Dr. Service is attentive and so welcoming. Prices are moderate and justified imo given the elevated quality. It's a solid location too in a busy area - I think it's all street parking but it's very walkable and we found spot easily. So thrilled they've come to Arcadia!! All India Cafe is fantastic! There is some street parking directly outside of the restaurant, but I would recommend parking at the public lot across the street instead. The curry I got was a very good spice level where you could taste all the different layers of seasoning that went into the dish. The garlic naan is also delicious. I've been here twice and loved it each time. The only thing I wish were different were the prices a bit cheaper, but overall everything is good. I do also wish the naan came with more for the price, but I love naan and will continue to order it. The tandoori chicken is so good and the butter chicken is amazing. The rose lassi is my favorite drink and the pani puri was ok. The service can be a bit slow at times since we went once and there was hardly anyone in the restaurant and it took a while to get our order in, but the food make up for it. I also love that it's halal since it means my boyfriend can eat here worry free. read more

I arrived here craving Indian food, like really craving it . in an unfamiliar area in Azusa, I wisked past this place slightly, catching it out the corner of my eye, and pull over happily. Did my happy dance too ! It's off street parking, however no meters! You might have to walk a bit but I found parking out front . That's a good thing right! I arrived and was greeted by 2 wonderfully awesome people. Smiling big , thick accent but well kept. I'm used to ppl accents but if your not there's a guy who speaks very clean English like I had no idea he was Indian . Pretty cool right! Clean nails, clean facility, waiter polite He shows me to my seat. The place wasn't packed and has a very nice booth that's adjustable depending on your mass. (The table can be brought to you or away! ) and a gold colored lamp that's literally so heavy I thought it was glued . anyway, I got the menu and I was given water with a cute slice of ‍ lime in it. I asked waiter is there an option to kinda bring the heat down some on your food. The waiter said "absolutely" that's when I knew I hadda winner and that I was going to be pleased! I hoped & I haven't even ordered yet. But let me tell you this I ordered something like a Lamb masala with white rice and a soup that's made of pototoe and peas and a small salad. It's portion controlled unlike most places I eat at that throw a bunch of food on a giant plate assuming I feel like scraping all that to go home with, this place wasn't like that. It was in seperste dishes on one plate! My kids would enjoy that bc she hates her food to touch! The rice though was spared left on the plate small heaping spoon nothing extreme. Oh I did put in a special request for us garlic lovers I asked for extra garlic on my na'an! And was please to my delight it was exactly how I wanted it. Oh so fluffy and warm not too thick and not crispy center like it's a potatoes chip no way it was foldable and perfect in every single way. I mean I have nothing to say about this place that's bad. I am going to maybe suggest today they play some Indian music low for us to get the full experience. But overall they didn't have me sweating with the spices at all! I enjoyed a rice pudding that I have never had before but would eat again. ( just an insider I'm heading there again today bc I have officially made myself hungry.) also ordered butter chicken and rice and extra garlic na'an to go to check it out and goodness yes my friend said dang where you get this from? A friend and I were walking by last night, saw the beautiful interior, and decided to stop in for a drink and a snack...so glad we did! They now have a full bar in Arcadia and make great cocktails. The service was spot-on and the food delicious. We tried the Lamb Sheesh Kabob, Tika Masala, and garlic Nann. I'd order all of them again but the menu is so full of great looking choices, I'm looking forward to trying several other items on my next visit. I was here from a previous yelp event and I really wanted to try the food again. I got the tikka masala with chicken. It was delicious! Nice rich flavors and good portions. I could drink that juice it comes with. So fresh, cool, and spicy. It's a very unique thing on the menu that typically isn't served at Indian restaurants. Fish tikka was yummy. Sea bass is cooked well and there is so much flavor in the veggies. The green sauce it comes with is phenomenal. Chicken korma was medium spicy and didn't taste THAT spicy. It was creamy and delicious. Chicken saag was a killer for me. My favorite dishes are saags because of the color and flavor. It could have used more chicken however. Tandoori platter was yummy. The lamb kebab and other lamb sample was very strong. The chicken samples were yummy. Garlic naan was awesome Saffron rice was a little perfumey but that's how it should be The ice cream was so yummy. The restaurant is located on the busy Huntington but there's plenty of street parking right in front. Its interior is so nicely done and when we walked in there was a hint of incense that calms you down right away. We were pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the lunch portion is for the pricing - we got the Lamb curry and chicken tikka masala lunch specials, both were around $15-16, and I upgraded my naan to garlic and made the order more spicy than mild. Everything was soooo yum! I have a pretty high tolerance when it comes to spiciness and could definitely feel the kick in the spices. All the staff was very nice and we learned that it's actually family owned and both the brother and sister were onsite when we visited. Love the ambiance at All India Cafe -- it feels upscale yet warm and welcoming. It's a new addition to Arcadia and looks like they have a full bar, or at least a good selection of wine and beer. I was happy to see some of my favorite Indian beers like Kingfisher, Haywards 5000, and Old Monk (love that one!). Points for bringing Indian street food to the locals here -- options like pani puri are a nice touch and not something you often see in Arcadia. The menu offers a wide range from veg to non-veg dishes, with an assortment of curries and tandoori favorites. I've tried the chicken tikka masala, chicken korma, lamb curry, chana masala, tandoori chicken wings, tandoori chicken, and garlic naan. The tandoori dishes were flavorful and well-cooked. However, the lamb curry was disappointing -- the lamb pieces were sparse and the texture a bit tough. I wouldn't recommend that dish. Aside from the tandoori items, the curries and chana masala weren't served hot -- just warm when they reached the table. I prefer dishes that come out piping hot, fresh off the stove or tandoor. Maybe they were busy and the food sat in the staging area before being served. The curries leaned heavily on tomato-based flavors, even for dishes like korma, which I usually expect to have a creamier cashew base. The garlic naan was fine, though I couldn't tell if any butter was added despite asking for it. Overall, it's a beautiful space and a promising concept, but the flavors, food temperature, and pricing didn't quite hit the mark for me. I really enjoy their food. Very flavorful and crave more at times. I've realized the only way to enjoy it though, is to eat it fresh there and not do take out. The take out food get placed really hot in plastic containers. All I imagine is the microplastics contaminating the food and then I find it hard not to think of what I'm consuming. I'd love them to reconsider their to-go containers or allow people to bring in glass containers from home. Otherwise, the food itself and service is great. read more

Enjoyed the yelp event decided to bring family to try something they've never had to the all India cafe because my yelp experience was so good! They were 50/50 on the shots but I appreciated them trying it! It's just so different have to try it at-least once! The butter chicken was delicious the garlic naan bread and the saffron rice were nice. The tandoori platters were really good a little bit of everything chicken and lamb. My wife didn't enjoy the chai tea, but we had a good experience. The sister and brother were very welcoming and the sister broke down a lot of items for my family who had never really experienced authentic Indian food. We have enjoyed several lunches and tonight, our first dinner here at All India. The lunch specials are excellent, you get to try a bit of everything. Upgrade to the garlic naan for $1 is worth it, in my opinion. Mango Lassi is a delicious, dessert-like yogurt drink. The kids loved it. A lot. Tonight we enjoyed the puri puri shots, masala dosa (we liked the filling on the side), tandoori chicken wings (beautifully plated), butter chicken. Simran, the owner, is always present, touching tables, running food, taking orders, chatting and thanking customers. He's a lot of fun to talk to. Service is good, the servers take their time, and always get our order right. The Indian music sets the perfect background mood to go with the food. The pace is leisurely and table settings are elegant and clean. Simran is also the mastermind behind the new pumpkin ice cream- wow! It's delicious. My daughter loved the saffron ice cream the best. They offer cocktails and various wine and beer as well. This would make for a nice date night! So happy to have a new restaurant to add into the mix here in Arcadia, with solid food and nice family owned vibe. Recommend! read more

The pricing is very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, which makes it even better. The naan bread was perfectly fluffy (not doughy at all!) and the jasmine rice was cooked to absolute perfection -- light, aromatic, and the perfect complement to every dish.. The atmosphere is just as inviting as the food! There's a stunning mural inside featuring beautiful Indian women in traditional clothing -- it's bright, colorful, and adds so much warmth and culture to the space. Having been to the Pasadena location several times over the past couple of years, I figured this would be no different. If anything, it was better! Bigger location, brighter and more festive interior design and even the food is somewhat better. Staff is very friendly at both locations. Not much to say other than if you haven't tried this restaurant, regardless of the location, definitely put this one on your list of great Indian restaurants! After the lovely take out the previous weekend, we decided to try dining at All India Cafe. We chose the Arcadia restaurant this time to avoid the parking hassle of Old Town Pasadena. The ambiance is warm in a restaurant with high ceilings. The lighting was lovely. We took a small table, but ended up ordering a lot. Did we remember to take pictures this time? Sorry, but no. We just enjoyed an incredible meal. We ordered off of the street menu, and tried Malai Paneer Tika which was new to us. Oh yum. The cheese and the veggies and the marinade and pickle were great. We ordered the Green Tandoori Chicken again. That stuff is downright addictive. The green mint and basil are so incredible on savory tender chicken pieces. This is a new favorite. We ordered Lamb Saag. I always feel as if we need spinach if we are going to eat meat dishes, especially two. Yeah, the lamb saag was one. Anyway, the lamb was fork tender, ready to fall apart. The savory saag was just so, so good. The other new dish we ordered was a vegetable korma, that was really yummy, too. The vegetables were really yummy in a mild sauce. It's just our household, and friends, but everything we order is mild. Boo. I am waiting to order biryani for next time. It is a true favorite of mine. The waitress seemed confused that we did not order rice, but with an order of Plain Naan and Garlic Naan, we had enough carbs, and for two people who way over ordered. We got spooked at black seeds on the paneer pickle as we were boxing up our food. I finally remembered the name of the seeds when the owner came to assure us they were nigella seeds. Onion seeds. We've been on this Indian kick partially because sesame seeds are not a ubiquitous ingredient as in East Asian food, and one of us is allergic. We were cool, but the owner generously gave us a dish of Kheer. God I love that stuff. It was perfect and a lovely ending to the meal. We happily had many leftovers, as the food is rich and tasty. We are thrilled with the meals that we will have this week. The restaurant gets five stars for superb. read more
