Approved for a car loan through Capital One for a Ford Flex. Capital one suggested what we should pay for the vehicle and gave us a list of Approved dealers. Unfortunately, All star Ford was on that list. I have to say that our salesman was friendly and seemed to know his stuff. We had spoken to him BEFORE arriving at the dealership and reminded him of our budget once we got there. We went for a test drive in the vehicle we liked and taking into consideration what Capital one said we should pay for it, we felt certain that it would be a quick transaction and we'd drive off with our new Flex. Almost immediately we ran into trouble. Our salesman said that we had driven a different vehicle than the one on our suggested price list and this one would cost more. We had matched the VIN to our paperwork before the test drive and told our salesman this. He took our "window sticker" paper and said he would go check it. 15 minutes later he came back with a different piece of paper and said that in fact we had made a mistake and the VIN didn't match. The vehicle we had driven was a different price than the one we had come in to see and the one we wanted was already sold. I know he had switched out the papers, because i had accidentally left a pen mark on our original sheet and the one he brought back after "checking the VIN" didn't have the pen mark on it. Giving him the benefit of the doubt we asked if he could still match our budget. We made an offer and he took it off to the Sales Manager. The Manager returned with our sales man and sat down and asked what interest rate Capital One had offered us. The Manager said he felt he could get us a better interest rate and we filled out the credit app. While they ran our credit app, the manager told us how he wouldn't be able to meet our budget for the vehicle we wanted but that he could do it for about 1500 more than our budget and with the better interest rate it would probably even be a lower monthly payment. We asked if the amount he was talking about was the total amount and if that was the final figure. He said that it was. Turns out that wasn't the final price. 1,500.00 over our budget was just the beginning, His deal would have been at least 3000.00 over our budget once everything was added in. once they realized that they wouldn't be able to push us into a vehicle WAY over our total budget they completely lost interest and told us that they were sorry they couldn't help us. read more

I was recently toying with the idea of picking up a 2015 Ford Fusion as a second car - I liked the lines, great styling, great mileage, and the reviews were very positive. Aug 2016 i purchased a F-150 Lariat from All Star. Got the extended wrap around warranty for 3200.00. One day driving to work my truck doing 65 MPH went from 6th Gear to 1st Gear. I thought it was me as the truck lurched to a stop. I restarted my truck and went on my way. 3 months ago March 2019 i received a Recall Notice in regards to the transmission shifting from 6th to 1st. I took my truck to Bill Brant Ford in Brentwood and was told they fixed the computer code as advised by Ford. On 4/20/19 my truck was traveling at 60 mph uphill when the truck went into limp mode and had 2 warning lights on the dash. The Wrench and the auto track symbol. I drove about 3 miles down hill and parked the truck. I restarted the truck an hour or so later and the warning lights had gone out. I drove home and on 4/22/19 took the truck to ALL STAR FORD in Pittsburgh. I explained what happened and asked them to find out what caused the limp mode. When i first brought in my truck i was told my rental car was covered as part of the warranty for 5 days. anything after that was mine to pay. After 4 days without a word from them i called to find out the issue. I was informed when the put my truck on the rack they pulled the transmission plug and oil came pouring out. I was told i needed a NEW TRANSMISSION as mine was over filled and had metal in it. I asked for a sample of the oil and what tests All Star Ford had run but was refused. I was informed i would need to pay 1850.00 if i wanted proof my transmission needed to be replaced. I pointed out i drove the truck in and it should not need a new transmission. I was told by the service manager to contact bureau of automotive repair and make a case against the shop that over filled my transmission. That way that company or there insurance would have to pay for a new transmission. The truck was left with them for another week while i took his advise. After speaking to another mechanic i was informed this is how Dealerships operate and to get my truck out as i did not need a transmission nor could i afford. Also the BAR was very slow to respond. Still waiting at this time for second follow up call. When i went to ALL STAR Ford to get my truck i was informed because my transmission was not covered under my purchased warranty i would get no benefit from it. IE. 5 day rental car and 100.00 max fee. i tried to explain my transmission runs and i still have not been told why my limp mode went on. i was informed by Chris the serviced manager i should have paid the 1850.00 to have them prove to me it was my transmission. Can you Believe IT???? Just got a bill from Enterprise Rental. 160.00 that all star did not pay. NEVER AGAIN BUY A FORD read more

WORST SERVICE DEPARTMENT. Made an appointment late last Thursday for brake flexible line recall and doubt check with the advisor for part availability (he said they have the parts), show up this morning and told they have no part. Spoke with service manager, Chris, and he lied about they have 100 on Friday (all 3 service advisors and the cashier was there could be my witness) and also tell me to bring the car to other dealer since I am mad about taking a day off for repair (no shuttle service). Is it possible they did 50 vehicles for brake flexible line repair on Friday and Monday, they don't even have that many mechanics doing that service (common sense, you need 7 or 8 mechanics to do that work to finish 50 vehicles in 2 days since job required 2 to 4 hours per them). Try to compliant, no-one care, Sale manager, Mike doesn't return call; another manager above client relation manager, Chris said they repair 150 vehicles per day, ask to see repair record for brake flexible line for those 2 days if over 50. phone just go silent. I guess they are all used car salesmen (liar, liar, liar). EVERYONE SHOULD TAKE THE SERVICE MANAGER ADVISED, TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO SOMEONE ELSE OR OTHER DEALER. read more

Came here on saturday to test drive a ford flex. Was a bit disappointed because my husband had scheduled a test drive a few days before and when we arrived, the flex only had 5 miles until empty! So our test drive was literally around a court and back. Also, there were 2 different sets of tires on the flex and several spots of chipped paint. It was $10,000 below market but i went to concord litham and bought the same exact car in better condition for $1000 more. He looked at me and gave this impression that I couldn't afford the vehicle. With Jesus the sales rep who helped me at All Star the experience was the exact opposite. I had a great experience purchasing my slightly used Ford C-Max at All Star Ford. I saw the car I was looking for online, then called and spoke with Pete Lagusis. This man has great customer service ethics. He held the car for me until I could get there the next day. This C-Max had all the options I wanted, low mileage and the price was right. Only issue was that I had to return a Lexus I had purchased from another dealer in Fremont, over an hour away. Pete was great - he drove my new Ford all the way over there so that I could drop off the Lexus and get it. I offered to drive him back to Pittburgh, and he was willing to take the train back so I didn't have to go out of my way. Rene was very helpful, not pushy, and very courteous and truly listened to what we wanted as customers. While waiting for the manager Norm to get us approved with the bank for our auto loan, Rene made sure we were comfortable with everything we needed and even waited with us. Took the car we purchased in for a service about a week after purchasing, because when we bought it, it hadn't been in the facility long enough to have a full service yet so when we brought it in All star ford serviced inside and out, even put new tires on the vehicle. Service dept is horrible!! They kept our work vehicle for over 2 weeks to fix the transmission. This affected our livelihood as we were unable to accommodate our customers with only 2 vans on the road rather than 3. There is no way it should've taken that long to fix a transmission. We feel that they dragged their feet on it because it was covered under warranty & they knew they weren't making any money off of us! Plus they never called us with any updates. I was sent here from Antioch Toyota to get my warranty work done. I was given the standard dealership hassle about how they got a lot going on and I don't have an appointment... Of course I don't have an appointment, I was just referred to you. The service was simple, a break issue and a loose seat. I left the car there on a Thursday, picked it up the following Wednesday. A lot of that had to do with "getting the warranty approved" however the communication is terrible. I had to continually call back and try to check on the status of my vehicle. When the warranty finally got approved, I still had to come out of pocket for the parts. Long story short $240 and a week later my rear-end still grinds and my driver seat is still loose. read more

Horrible dealer . I was buying a car online from NJ made the deal . Filled out credit app was approved now waiting on papers over nighted to NJ . They called me the next day and said " they don't do business out of state " . I come to find out a walk in customer came into the dealer for the same car and offered more money. So not only do I have inquiry's on my credit I wasted two days going back and fourth to be lied to . Called the owner all day would not return my calls . Manager "Chris" was completely nasty and not to mention a horrible liar . Stay away plenty of ford dealers around . Not to mention when I was on the phone with the saleswoman she was speaking to the finance manager and I could hear him say . " what the fuck does this guy want I've wasted enough time this morning on this fucking deal , tell him this isn't fucking Burger King it's not have it your way . My review is for the management team at this dealership. I have had really bad luck on purchases made here. I'm now in a ford fashion with 2 recalls. Came in to fix one of the recalls and get my free oil change and they claimed the oil change expired and I would have to pay it. Well I went to talk to Staci and she took great care of me, remembered me from what I already went through with my last ford focus and not only I get my oil changed today but another free one for next time. After looking at the Ford website, I decided to take my truck in for a battery check to the Quick Lane service at All Start Ford. Prior to driving to Pittsburg from Concord, I called the service desk at All Star Ford and I was assured they had the Quick Lane service which was while you wait. When I got there, I was told the Quick Lane was nothing more than signs and no different from the regular service. I was told that it would take 4 hours for a battery check and possible replacement. I guess I will go to Concord Ford next time but be more thorough in questioning their service offerings. read more

This review is aimed at the service department. My sister brought in her ford escape for an overheating problem. John Ansaldo the service advisor was terrible from the start. He misdiagnosed her vehicle which ended up costing her $1800 for a water pump.  After that problems still persisted. From there we tried calling the Service Manager but he would not return any of our calls. My sister finally brought her Escape back in to John and he told her she needed a new engine which would cost her $10,000 because water and oil was found in the engine. Not having the funds for $10,000, her car sat for almost 2 years. After this I decided to get a second opinion. I found a Shell gas station, not a Ford dealership that diagnosed her car and found out in fact only needing a thermostat and a radiator cap. After a repair that costed only $240, her car ran like new. After taking All Star Ford to small claims court and also reporting the problem to the BAR, the court in Pittsburg denied her claim because the Bureau of Automotive repair found no problem or concern was caused by All Star Ford.  I am appalled that the service people would employ predatory practices on the local people of antioch and pittsburg. If you ask around the service waiting area, you will hear similar stories of how All Star Ford's service department constantly mess up on repairs which lead to thousands of dollars lossed. I do not recommend anyone taking their ford to All Star Ford since their service department appear to either be incompetent in discerning what is wrong with vehicles or they are just flat out dishonest and seek to scam their patrons. As I said before John lied about what was wrong with my sisters Escape and attempted to con her out of $10,000 for a $240 fix. Ask yourself. What if this was you wife, daughter, or sister? So bad, I had to make a Yelp profile just so I can voice my opinion. Sales experience was good here but the service department is the worst experience I have absolutely ever had. They had my car for over 2 months, no communication from my service advisor Andrew. Seems like customer service and communication is something Maybe the manager should train them on, but even he lacks that skill. As my advisor wrote me up, he wore no mask and was playing explicit music. Every time i called for an update it was the same unfortunate guy always answering, I kept asking if he was giving Andrew my messages and he kept apologizing and saying yes I'm sorry he hasn't called you back. When I came to pick up months later, they couldn't find my paperwork or my key. My car was filthy and had scratches on the hood that werent there prior. I have let numerous messages for the service manager and have not heard anything. After buying your car here, take it elsewhere for service. read more
