I am really baffled by the five star reviews. The outside is a dive, but that's ok, I figured it was a well kept local secret kinda thing. The spot where you order is about four feet by four feet.... ok, couple of bar stools and no one was there. I got my food and got back to my hotel. I got the Philly Cheese Steak sub Mozzarella Sticks The sub was ok. Bread was good (soft and flakey), the meat didn't have any flavor and the large was on the small size. But would probably have given 3 or 4 stars... Mozzarella Sticks- not what you go there for, but still paid almost 8 bucks... was expecting good ones. I have never eaten worse ones, and i mean even compared to frozen ones from the store that sat out for three hours and I tried reheating.... I didn't have the pizza, and I assume that is the five stars... but then take everything else off your menu... I don't like giving bad reviews but this was just a bad experience.... read more

I was just sitting at home and I heard a very aggressive knock on the door. I was not expecting anyone, and was home alone, and it was a pretty scary knock, so decided not to answer it. A couple seconds later, another, even more aggressive knock. Then, I hear this person walk off my porch. Then, I hear him stomp/run back up my porch and start knocking and KICKING at my door. This was so hard my house was literally shaking. At this point, I was terrified and having NO IDEA why someone was acting this way, assumed the next step would be to throw a brick through my window. so, I got my phone out, ready to call 911 and went over to my door to find a person holding a pizza. I told him I didn't order a pizza and he said something along the lines of "Jesus Christ that's all you had to say." ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Then he storms off... I would NEVER order a pizza from this place for fear of this person coming back to my home. This interaction was beyond inappropriate. read more

I just had this for the first time over the weekend. I ordered a large pizza and an order of wings using the app. The pizza tastes very similar to Joes Brooklyn pizza but better and less expensive. I asked for the wings well done and they came PERFECT! I will definitely order from them again and will continue to as long as they are consistently good. To say we are very irritated with this place is an understatement. We ordered a large pizza, sub and 2 orders of pizza logs for delivery on a cold, rainy night. When the order was delivered and we opened up the 2 orders of pizza logs they were all burnt! Absolutely unacceptable! I wouldn't eat that, so I'm certainly not feeding it to my kids. My mother (who is in town for a visit) was so irritated she actually got in her car and drove to the restaurant (at 6pm in the dark and rain) to complain! The restaurant replaced the logs, and did not even offer to refund the money for them @$7.00+ per order, especially since we drove there to return them. When she finally arrived back home to give the logs to the kids, there were only 4 logs per order! Our initial 2 orders had 5 logs per order! (And we were told on the phone while ordering there were 5 per order.) And one log in each order was still burnt! My advice is to bypass this place and head to one of the many other pizza places around! We are done with them! read more

Not bad. I grabbed a slice on lunch break today while being around the corner. They didn't have any of the slices up front for everyone to see, but what's available is posted up. I decided to get the lasagna pizza, though hesitant without seeing what it looked like. It turned out to be good. Lots of meat and ricotta on top. Very thin, a bit too thin perhaps. The assholes working the night I ordered messed with my food. They put chili flakes or some other spicy ingredient in our garlic bread. We have ordered the garlic bread before and not had a problem. When we called to let them know about this they said they would give us a full refund and have someone do the money off (we paid in cash). We waited 30 minutes and still no one came (they are a mile down the road from us). I drive to the establishment and they had closed for the night. I have to disagree with the other critic. The toppings are always loaded on their pretty good when I order from them. They're always super polite and will give me the coupon pricing even if I don't have a coupon. We're actually outside their delivery area so we go and pick it up, that's how much we like it. They are a little expensive, and if you don't like greasy pizza, then it's not your place. We usually get a large one-topping, a medium with 3 or 4 toppings, and an order of wings and it comes out to 40 or so. But if you like flavor, if you believe in two kinds of pepperoni on a pepperoni pizza, if you like lots of cheese and a great crust, then give them a shot. read more

We order from these guys all of the time. I love their pizza. I think it's some of the best around. They had a little trouble on Halloween. They were slammed. There must have been at least 8 people working in the small kitchen. The women who was at the register was overwhelmed. The owner actually got back to me to apologize for the scene that night. Pretty good sized thin NY style slices here. The sauce is very delicious and vibrant tasting with a ton of flavor. The mozzarella is pretty full of flavor as well, very good tasting cheese. I like that they were fold-able, and the crust is very crunchy with a good char on the bottom. The combination of the ingredients gave each slice a really positive taste overall. The only thing I wasn't a big fan of was the pepperoni was a bit underdone, but that's really about it. They make a nice NY thin crust pizza for sure. read more

Ordered a sheet pizza and wings. All the cheese was stuck to the top of the box. When I called back, they offered to send out another pizza within 45 minutes. It was a Valentine party with hungry kids. I said it would be too late and they would be gone. The person said they would give me a credit towards another sheet pizza. When I called back, they said they had no record of this and would not honor it. Recently they sent out a coupon for a sheet pizza and 30 wings for 22.99. They said it was an error and wouldn't honor it. Bait and switch !! And besides their pizza is not good. All Star makes one of the best thin crust pizza's and uses great pepperoni. I frequently take my kids to the comic book shop right around the corner, and they always make me promise to buy a pizza. They were just going on and on this past weekend, how pizza is their favorite food and this is their #1. This place is horrendous. Our first time ordering..we order a large cheese. We get a burnt Pizza half with shredded cheese and half with squares. It looked like they ran out of cheese and went to the store and bought squares of mozzarella and finished it off with that.
