I really like that they don't just focus on oral care they consider the anatomy of your tongue and the association with OSA. They have very cool technology. The staff is very kind. I went in for teeth cleaning and they diagnosed me with several cavities. I went to two other places and they told me, I don't have any cavities. I think they be over diagnosing. I love this dentist office and its staff. I live really close by so can walk over, but there's also parking in the large Safeway parking lot. My insurance fortunately covers 3 cleanings a year and specifically request Vy Ton as my RDH because she is so kind and does such a good job. I have sensitive teeth, especially when cleaning, and Vy uses a bit of numbing gel to make it easier for me. Another cool thing about this dentist office is that it is run by 2 dentist sisters. They are both great! Not enough to sway you? This office goes on a mission trip every summer to Vietnam to give dental care to people who otherwise would have none. One of the best dental offices I have been to hands down. From start to finish everything was done quickly, efficiently, and with a smile. Short Version -extremely disorganized -horrible tooth cleaning -no follow up to fill cavities -weird sticky $69 flouride -has the b-team (no actual dentists) on Saturdays -less than 24 hour forced appointment reschedule (or you face cancellation after waiting for several months just to get the appointment) -demand for payment after being paid Long version I contacted Allure to schedule an appointment. I was happy I could get a Saturday appointment, even though I would have to wait months. Since work doesn't give me flexibility, I took it. You have to pay $50 up front for a Saturday appointment. I went in and paid promptly. They took all of my information, scanned my id and insurance, and confirmed my appointment. 2 months later, I get a call demanding payment or they will cancel my appointment. I assured them I paid. Lo and behold, she saw I paid. No apology. Just assurance that my appointment is confirmed. Two days later, I get a call asking for my birth date. I told them and asked if there was anything else. I was told that was everything. The next day, I get a call asking for my insurance information. I informed them I've already given them my information and had my card scanned, but gave the info anyway. I'm called again! Asking for my social security number. Stupid me, gave the info without thinking. FYI: You DO NOT have to give any dentist your SSN. They want it in case they have to drag you to collections. The following day, yet another call. Asking for my insurance information AGAIN. At this point, I decided to determine my experience based upon the actual service. However, there really is no excuse for the front desk to be so disorganized. It's a small office. Two chairs. Review a patient's paperwork and ask everything up front. It's not rocket science. The day before my appointment, hours before their office closes for the day, I'm told my appointment is rescheduled for later in the day or I can cancel. Nice options after having waited months already AND paid to hold the appointment for me. THE DAY OF APPOINTMENT I come in and already have paperwork filled out for them. I'm asked for my id and insurance... again. My insurance is scanned... again. My appointment starts and I'm promptly told there are no dentists on site. We go through the motions. I'm told I need to get one filling done. A dentist was texted or something to confirm this. Almost done. Floride time. They have the gnarliest, most disgusting floride I've never seen any dentist use. It's a super sticky paste they put on a couple of teeth, not all of them. They smeared a bunch on my lips and face. The stuff was like glue! Word of advice: don't make plans after getting the floride done. I'm about to leave, but I stop at the front. Apple reviews my paperwork and says she will call my insurance and follow up with me. She asked if email was ok. I agree. POST APPOINTMENT I had to dump my toothbrush head after the sticky floride gunk clung to it. My teeth never felt squeaky clean like other dentists. Instead, I have a constant feeling of plaque on my teeth that can't get scrubbed away. Worse, after a couple of weeks, my teeth started staining. My teeth are stain prone, but typically won't show until after 6 months. 2 weeks make no sense! Stupid me, I immediately referred someone to this dentist. She confirmed with them that I would get the complementary gift card for referring someone. I have yet to see it. She saw them just over a couple of weeks ago. A month later, I contacted Allure asking about that filling appointment Apple was supposed to do. Andrea responded and said she'd put a quote together for me the next day. SHE did! I received the quote. Now my 1 filling had exploded into 4! Sorry, but that was the straw that broke the camel's back. All of this and I NEVER even met the dentist. read more

Felt I was visiting a mechanic. Said one thing but by the time I received the invoice had added on extra things I "needed" but we're not explained. Plus they put all these random charges I couldn't even figure out. Money for mouth rinse? Etc. I wanted to have some chips fixed and they had me pay a couple 100 dollars for a mold the suggested o get veneers instead of just a simple quick fill in... I don't have a 4000.00 laying around to spend on two chipped teeth. Just went to another dentist he's going to do exactly what I want for 600. I can't believe how lost for words I'd be typing this review...1st week of Feb and I'm a month into the New Year with an agonizing tooth ache. Top, bottom, and both on the left side. The pain kept me up several nights and I had been to 2 other dental offices and couldn't have been more displeased and disappointed at the customer service and prices.Then literally around the corner from my home we found ALLURE DENATAL. I walked in 15mims before their closing time and was immediately cared for by the receptionist and staff. They quickly pulled up my info, pinpointed the root and cause of pain then filled a prescription next door at Safeway (how convenient). The Dental Manager Andrea was caring, professional, swift as ever! I went back two days later for my appointment with no pain. The dentist and dental assistant's were also very nice and hospitable providing neck pillow, classical music, headphones, friendly conversation, and Netflix!!!! My review is solely based on my experience with a dental plate temporary false tooth. I came in around July 2017 to get a dental plate replaced. Allure Dental was kind enough to schedule me in for an emergency visit. I came in for what would seem like a standard procedure to take a mouth mold for the missing tooth, make the tooth and plate, make sure it fits in my mouth, and adjust it accordingly. None of the above went well. While taking the mold, the assistant wiggled the mold so much that even I can tell it wasn't going to turn out well. The mold isn't a true impression of my mouth, it is much larger. When I mentioned it, the assistant told me that it'll be fine. After the tooth dental plate came back, sure enough the tooth was too big and the plate didn't fit in my mouth properly. Additionally, the tooth was also way too bright and didn't match my other teeth. After I mentioned the fit and color, the dentist ignored my comments and continued to try to jam the plate into my mouth while making small tweaks that didn't do any good. Finally after an hour of trying to cram the thing into my mouth and convincing me the tooth color is fine, she got frustrated and called another person in to finish the work. They ended up staining the tooth yellow and coated it with a rough finish. The tooth made me extremely self-conscious and the procedure made me afraid of dentists in general. After all this fiasco, they asked me if I want to do a tooth implant with them. I ran as fast as I can the other way. I do have to reiterate that my review is for the dental plate temporary tooth only. Allure Dental may not be experienced in this field but could be good at others. read more

I had not been to a dentist in four years and this place had a $100 cleaning and x-ray special and I'm very happy took advantage of it. I had the cleaning and Xray performed by a very competent and friendly dental hygienist. After xrays and the cleaning, I got the news: multiple cavities need drilling and filling and I needed a crown. Oh well, this is what happens when you skip dental checkups so I bucked up and got all that plus the deep cleaning. I am very happy with everything Allure did for me and appreciate the prices and discount on the deep cleaning (which was two hours of serious cleaning and scraping). My mouth feels awesome and looks great. I smile with confidence and thanks to Allure's staff, I have a healthy mouth again. Overall health starts with oral health.
