Crispy Pata - called in for pick up- allow 20 Minutes since they make it fresh

Glad there is authentic Filipino food in Alhambra . They have all time favorites , even Pinakbet. I like that it's really prepared fresh when you order. The restaurant is in one of the food stalls at Blossom Market. service is good and the ambiance for a food court is nice. There is parking.

My favorite Lumpia I've had from any Filipino restaurant perioddddd. Theirs is perfectly crispy and the filling is umami and hits just right. This location is nestled inside Blossom Market Hall, where there's ample parking and great seating options both inside and outside. Staff is also super nice. :)

    Longsilog

My first time trying authentic Filipino food and it surely did not disappoint! I got the Longsilog which includes two scoops of garlic rice, longanisa (Filipino sausage), cucumbers, and 2 eggs. The eggs were cooked to perfection: jammy and runny with a smooth glass like egg white. The Filipino sausage had a blend of savory flavors with a hint of sweetness to it. Both the sausage and the eggs complimented the rice so well. I was extremely impressed with the garlic flavored rice! It was delicious and the portion was very big! Definitely a filling meal! It's located inside Blossom Market Hall so free parking is widely available around the area. You order the food at the cashier, and they give you a table buzzer that will vibrate when your tray of food is ready to be picked up. My order was ready in about 10 minutes. You seat yourself (cafeteria style). Casual setting and friendly service. Overall, would love to come back again to try their other rice dishes!

Lumpiang Shanghai! Forgot to take a picture of the dipping sauce container.

The lumpia here is amazing!! Also, everyone working here is so friendly and thoughtful! Swung by here super last minute for a few orders of lumpia to bring to a birthday party that was starting about 30 minutes out. Order was piping hot and ready to go in 10 minutes as promised, and in a tray wrapped in foil with a large side of dipping sauce for me so it's party ready! I wasn't expecting this and I appreciate this so incredibly much! The lumpia was a huge hit with everyone! Thank you so much! Update #1: incredibly appreciative of the young man working there to let me know that they also offer 50 and 100 piece party trays for their lumpia! Such a great deal and huge hit at the potluck we got to attend for Super Bowl! Update #2: Got to try their Longsilog and Chicken Adobo meals, and both are so good, especially with that garlic rice and sauce! Highly recommend!

Lumpiang Shanghai - loved it and would get again!

Almuchow boasts of offering "Filipino comfort food" in Blossom Market Hall - and they have all the Filipino comfort staples on the menu such as chicken adobo, various versions of Pansit, and of course lumpia! Since I adore lumpia I couldn't resist grabbing an order - and I was not disappointed. Definitely a solid choice for lumpia in the area (it's called Lumpiang Shanghai on their menu). The pieces are small but quantity is more than ample. And they come with a sweet/sour sauce. The lumpia were nice and crisp on the outside and smooth on the inside with great flavor and not greasy. We also tried to order some chicken adobo but they were sold out - will have to try and catch it again next time bc it looks great. Prices are reasonable and service was efficient and pleasant. We were a little bothered by the fact that the cook and other food handlers weren't wearing gloves and were touching their faces and the money while also handling food - we almost didn't order there bc of it but gave it a shot anyway lol. Otherwise everything was great. Almuchow is towards the back of the market hall. Order at the counter and they'll give you a buzzer. The vibe are lively and inviting with lots of seating options and promising dessert choices once you've finished your dinner. There's plenty of free parking on site.

Counter service is efficient at this eatery in a food court " Blossom Market Food Hall in the mission are of San Gabriel. Classic Filipino dishes have a good flavor. We enjoyed the Sissig and the fried milk fish plates. The garlic rice is tasty. The fried eggs are "meh" for me since they were dry & barely warm. The food hall atmosphere is modern and clean and pop music streaming . There are tables for groups and smaller ones with chairs for couples. Almuchow Atbp has counter seating.

    Kare kare
    Christina F.

So good! The kare kare was delicious and huge! A bit bummed it didn't come with rice though. I'd honestly be happy with a smaller portion if it included rice. Just not a fan of the tripe in it, but everything else was good. Don't like the texture of tripe, very chewy. Enjoyed my calamansi juice, nice and refreshing. Looking forward to trying their other dishes!

Beef was hard and dry. Almost like beef jerky. Egg was over cooked but I do prefer runny eggs. Rice was excellent.

I was excited to try some Filipino food. Came here last night and I ordered the lumpia but there were all out. So I ordered the beef dish/ pork belly with rice and egg. The garlic rice was fantastic. The egg was over cooked and dry inside. The beef was salty and dry. Nothing like the picture. My friend beef was the same. Very disappointing.

We have been here multiple times and keep coming back. My daughter loves the pork sinigang and the calamari. I don't know what they do to the calamari but we love that it is flavorful and soft. When we first had it, we had it there and we finished it all. Yesterday, we took it home and it was still so good when we ate it at home. This is their 2nd location and I must say, the quality is the same as the original one in West Covina. If you like Filipino food, must try!

Lumpia Shanghai Crispy, crunchy goodness!! So irresistibly delicious!! Can't wait to try more of their dishes. Wonderful customer service from Donnalyn viray, Herman and Cody! This place is inside of the Blossom Market Hall, which has indoor and outdoor seating.

It's convenient to have Filipino food in middle of San Gabriel. The only other F place I know is Chaaste in Pasadena so this is convenient. Crispy pork belly fried rice highly recommended. Crispy pork knuckle also very good . It's located inside blossom market hall. Plenty of parking in the back. Small tables that share with other food court eateries are outside.

    Bonnie S.

Impressive and authentic Filipino food in this little food hall. I'll be honest we did not expect much. We were absolutely shocked by how tasty and authentic everything tasted. Service was quicker than expected. The guy was also very helpful and friendly. Lots of seating in the dining hall and clean bathrooms here as well. I highly recommend the crispy pata.

    Milkfish a la carte
    Karen K.

The milkfish was really good. I might rate it one of my favorite Filipino dishes I have ever tried. It was fried crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The sauce is vinegary, and goes well with the fish. They give you a good amount. Yum I wish I could say I tried the pork plate but my son ate all the garlic rice, and my daughter ate all the egg. I didn't get much but scraps. This place is legit. Will be back to try other dishes.

Couldn't find the spot at first in the plaza but it is located near a McDonald's. Looked big from outside but was a decent size inside with a good amount of tables and seating space. Service was really fast, got seated quick and they were fast to take our orders which was crazy at first but they were on it with service so I appreciated that. Even the food came out pretty fast. Saw that the Beef Noodle Soup was good so I had to try it, the beef broth was delicious and I love bok choy so they had me at bok choy! Beef was nicely cooked too, I liked it! Dan Dan noodles were okay and it felt like it was spicy peanut butter but still good, just not my favorite. But the pork dumplings (xiao long bao) was YUMMY. It really hit the spot when we grabbed one each and the warmth and taste was delicious. Definitely my favorite! Pork and crab dumplings were good too! I was just too full at that point to have more of it all. I'd say this place satisfied my hunger and I left there super full so I'll comeback again :)

Service was rushed and disorganized from the start -- the server wanted our order the moment we sat down, leaving us scrambling to decide. We ordered the Hu Tieu Thap Cam (large noodles), Banh Bot Chien, and Dau Cha Quay as an appetizer. The Bot Chien came out first after about 20 minutes. My soup didn't arrive until 15 minutes after that, and the Dau Cha Quay? We had to ask four times before it finally showed up -- by which point we were nearly done eating. As for the food itself, my Hu Tieu Thap Cam was a disappointment. A large bowl that was mostly noodles, with just two shrimp, a single slice of liver, barely a teaspoon of ground beef, and a few thin slivers of chicken. The veggie toppings were just as sparse. For what's supposed to be a hearty noodle soup, it felt like a bowl of afterthoughts. I hate writing reviews like this because I genuinely used to love this place. But the combination of slow, uncoordinated service and underwhelming portions makes it hard to recommend.

The…read moreother two ordered tsukemen ($26.50 for the spicy deluxe and $23.50 for the spicy chasu) and found it very salty because they chose to consume it not by dipping the noodles in the bowl of broth, but rather by pouring all the broth from the bowl into the noodles, trying to recreate a normal bowl of ramen. I can't speak for them, but I will say, if you order the tsukemen and find that you want more dipping broth, that will be an extra charge. Order a regular bowl of ramen if you do not plan to dip the brothless noodles into the broth for each bite. BF and I both tried the spicy tuna bowl ($7.95), chashu bowl ($8.95), and tonkotsu ramen ($15.95). The bowls are a little smaller than the ramen bowls and are a great option if you want a light meal without feeling super full. The tonkotsu ramen had a slightly rich broth that was flavorful and a decent portion of noodles. We opted not to order the ramen with the egg since we were also trying the rice bowls. The three items were more than enough for the two of us and a good variety of food. Parking here is horrible at the street level, so head downstairs for the two levels of underground parking.

I know they owned Killer Noodle and brought it back for a day or so during some weeks, but still. I feel like I can partly blame those who can't handle spice, numbing or not, and or people with generally normie tastes. Anyways, enough of that diatribe. Parking can get horrible and fisted here, even though there's parking in the pit. The best bet is to just park at the 99 Ranch Market across the street and walk over. This restaurant also gets super busy too and there's limited tables and seating inside for how popular it is. They did collabs too, like the Naruto one. There were instructions on how to properly eat tsukemen and staff was friendly and polite too. I know they tried to make the ambiance a bit nicer and fancier, but with the constant slew of customers and people, you can only do so much. Since it's a tsukemen restaurant, I always just got tsukemen here. I'd get the spicy chashu tsukemen. Comes with a generous portion of chashu pork and is made with their homemade spices. It also comes with a soft boiled egg, a slice of lime to squeeze in for taste, green onions and a sheet nori. After dipping the noodles, you can ask for soup wari to eat the rest of the broth in. It's a delicious and hefty portion and sorta justifies the $30 for a bowl of tsukemen thing. Flavorful broth with a depth of delicious spices. Nice thick noodles that absorb the broth nicely. I like that you get a good amount of chashu. Adding the lime makes the noodles a bit more refreshing if you get a bit tired of the taste. Spicy doesn't make it spicy at all, but at the very least gave a bit of heat to it. There's other Tsujitas out there, just now a bit farther.
