Not a good burger. Too soggy, greasy, and messy. It's too expensive to be falling apart so easily. It made my stomach hurt afterwards.

It's fast food. I got the teriyaki chicken, which is kind of a general go to when in Seattle. It had absolutely no spice to it, of which I'm not accustomed. I like spicier chicken teriyaki. It was quick and they were pleasant. The ambience is that of a food court and there's usually just about no place to sit.

Great customer service and food is awesome!!!! Thank you for the delicious food and fun vibe.

Kalua pork and chicken katsu combo

I hardly ever go to any of the delis and eateries in the Uwajimaya food court, so I didn't expect to eat here. The food court itself has a decent amount of seating that fills up every weekend, though I came here with a friend on a Friday afternoon to get something quick to eat here. They have a good selection of combo plates and Musubi, and everything on the menu looked tempting. Since I only ordered up at the counter, no comment on service here. I got the kalua pork and chicken katsu combo here, and it came packaged in a box along with a side of Mac salad. This was all right at best; the pork was slightly more watered down than what I would have preferred, so there wasn't too much taste. The chicken katsu, however, was full of meat and somewhat bland but was very filling. The combo itself also came at a very good price for its quantity and even quality in this case.

I recommend Aloha Plates. Perfect crispy-ness. Fresh-breaded. Mac salad tasted new. Katsu sauce is awesome! My order was on time. Thank you for stapling the bag to preserve the heat! Best Chicken Katsu around! Very clean. Reminded me of the island. See you soon! Aloha

Katsu Loco Moco Spam Musubi Mac Salad - Cup

I didn't expect to find this spot inside a grocery store shopping center. The service was really fast and attentive, and they were really friendly. You could smell the food as they were cooking it and it got me hyped. I got the chicken katsu loco moco (kinda new to me, I've only ever had the og), and it was good. The katsu chicken was the best part. The egg was a little overcooked so it wasn't runny, and the onions were undercooked so they hadn't really caramelized. I wanted to like this spot, but it might just be for the mac salad (that was actually really good).

Thankfully dine-in is back open again, so we got here on a Saturday morning around 11:20am to indoor seating that was nearly full and a small line that was forming at the front counter. Walls have a bunch of photo frames, and overall place felt very homely. They have a ton of Hawaiian style plates and even burgers and some seafood, though we and most others got the former to eat. I ordered their chicken and pork combo Hawaiian style plate, and my bestie got their chicken katsu Hawaiian style plate. Portions are huge for both plates and both also came with macaroni salad. They give you sooooo much meat no matter what you get. To go in slightly more detail: - Chicken and pork combo: both meats were flavored very well, and a little sweet too though pretty salty without using the rice as a palette cleanser. Chicken had more depth in its flavor; the pork's flavor was a little too much for my liking, and was slightly harder to chew. Both meats had some sauce hat went onto the rice itself. This didn't detract from my overall experience here, though. - Chicken katsu: we both agreed this was our favorite after exchanging pieces of each other's dish. The katsu is crispy and crunchy, and the chicken itself retained a lot of its juiciness. Katsu sauce on the side is honestly optional since the meat itself is already salty enough. This place does share extremely limited parking with Cakes of Paradise next door, so get here early or be prepared to drive around the area to find some. Just get here, it's a place you can't pass up when you hit up Georgetown!

Parking is scarce, so plan ahead and be patient. We came on a Wednesday and happened to score a parking spot right in front of the bakery. Once you arrive, get in line immediately--there will be one. The woman taking our order was incredibly peppy and friendly, even while juggling everything: taking in-person orders, answering phones, serving customers, and bagging food. Seriously impressive. All the seats were filled, so we ordered everything to-go. We got the famous crispy ginger chicken, spam musubi, and chicken long rice. I was hoping for oxtail soup and asked about it--she explained they only offer it on certain days and recommended calling early in the morning to check, then getting there quickly because it sells out fast. Can't wait to come back and try it. Back at the hotel, we feasted. The crispy ginger chicken is famous for a reason--so flavorful, perfectly crispy, and somehow even better the next day. The chicken long rice was packed with noodles directly in the soup (not separately) so the broth had mostly soaked into the noodles, but it was still deeply flavorful and comforting. The spam musubi leans on the sweeter side, which is great if that's your thing. Overall, this place is all about heart, hustle, and seriously satisfying Hawaiian comfort food. Come early, expect a line, plan for parking--and you'll be rewarded.

I was originally going to order some musubi, but after seeing a curry dish, I couldn't resist. Curry Loco Moco Don ($16) - The chef first piles a mound of rice in the bowl. It seems to be higher quality short grain rice, giving great mouthfeel at first, but then biting into it, the overcooked mushy qualities emerge. The rice is sprinkled with a bit of furikake, adding a briny and savory flavor profile. Two beef patties are set on top, both with seemingly fake grill marks, perhaps indicative of commercial patties. They are homogeneous with a kind of spongy texture, pressed into a puck with a bunch of filler like Japanese hambagu. The beef is somewhat tender, but isn't soft enough to be cut through with a plastic fork. There's a fried egg on top, complete with runny yolk and even a small amount of runny white. They then ladle a couple of scoops of Japanese curry over the top. It's somewhat generic, probably a normal boxed curry mix with no embellishment, but it's cooked well. It has a nice thickness, isn't too thin or runny, lending a good curry flavor to the dish. I do with it came with a bit more curry since after eating about half the dish, it was all gone. Finally, some pickled ginger on top completes the dish. The curry is quite filling, probably close to 2 pounds of food. (4/5) Musubi Kai is a convenient and quick stop for a bite while downtown.
