She said since they were going to be closed the next week that she would order it the following week, ok fine. The week that she said would order it came and went. I have a tri-color paint coat (cajan red) on my truck and was told it was difficult to match. You should always value service over everything else. You can always receive a product for a reasonable cost, but the value you garner could be minimal if you're are forgotten the moment you're out of sight. Even before I met Marie in 2007, I was told that Aloha Toppers would do it correctly or they wouldn't do it at all. A SnugTop XTR was paired perfectly with my Maroon Red Nissan Frontier and I was told to come back if anything was less than perfect - It was perfect but I still returned; to have backup sensors added to the truck. Those saved my butt more times than I can count. Fast forward 9 years. The SnugTop is still working great, the truck, not so much. (But that's another Yelp Review...) I was hoping to secure another Maroon Nissan Frontier in the same color as my previous one so I could have Aloha Toppers just move the XTR forward. My tough luck, that color truck with the option I wanted was only available in Texas or North Carolina. For the cost of shipping that truck to Hawaii, I could repurchase the XTR in a different color or have it repainted. So, now I buy this Nissan Frontier in Arctic Blue. I consult with Marie what it'll take to reutilize the XTR after I have it repainted. Marie explained what could be removed, what needed to be masked, what could be reused and what needed to be replaced. I had every intention for Aloha Toppers to do the work, but Marie convinced me that I could accomplish the task. With the XTR now Arctic Blue, I figure Marie should be contacted to order the consumables I'll need to make it look new, but to my surprise, Marie had everything I needed on-hand! I did though have Aloha Toppers connect the Collision Avoidance Light - just to make sure it's done correctly. I didn't know Marie was the owner until recently. She is extremely knowledgeable of products and services available. She accurately translated my concerns and understood what I needed. I drove down and met with her. Not sure what to make of this place. I kinda agree with the other post. Ordered a roll n lock three weeks ago; Maries said it takes two weeks to get in. Yesterday she said she got in some covers but had the check the next day (today) and would let us know. Still waiting. Yes initial service was friendly but like the other post, hard to get them on the phone. If they install the cover nicely, will upgrade the rating. Finally got the top installed. They did a nice job as far as I can tell. Just bugged that took a lot longer than originally quoted and they don't follow up. read more

They took great care of me. Great to work with. Helped me with my 8 year old leer cap. The lock had fallen apart, and they put it back together. On top of that they lubed the hinges, and adjusted the latch. Much than just putting the lock back together, but it really needed it. Quick in and out, and the cap is ready to go another 8 years. I found yet another local business that is solid and knows their stuff. Marie, the owner, has good and supportable advise as to which product to buy, whether it's a shell, tonneau top or whatever will accommodate your needs and taste. Not wanting a "rollup" tonneau, which would render my excellently designed Toyota Tacoma factory installed, standard equipment tie down and adjustable, in bed cleat system (best on the market) and my two "D" ring front tie downs, I opted for the EXTANG three fold 2.0 tonneau. I couldn't be happier with Marie's suggestion and had it ordered and installed in a week. She is an authorized dealer, should there be any problems (not anticipated), and it has a quality OEM feel about it as well as being virtually and completely watertight. I highly recommend this product and especially this dealer. They are easy to find immediately behind Cutter Ford in Aiea. Super easy access with plenty of parking. Installation was about ten minutes and it looks GREAT on the new 2017 Tacoma TRD OFF ROAD in silver. I can use every tie- down in the bed for tall items, etc.; just what the Doctor ordered. You can find it a little cheaper on Amazon, but the money then leaves Hawaii forever, and you lose Marie's factory protection. Buying local was worth it, unquestionably.
