Called before I drove in, needing some used tires till I saved enough for new ones. Told they had my size. When I get here, 15 mins later the mechanics tell me they got sold yesterday. I was annoyed a bit, but the mechanic said call in a few days and he'll hold some for me. I thought sweet, I can live with that. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE IF YOU HAVE A VOLKSWAGEN JETTA. THEY RUINED MY CAR. I had to have my car towed twice because they forgot to simply bleed the brake fluid during the brake job. Now my car is being fixed at another place and this is costing me hundreds of dollars. What first happened is my brakes began to grind so I took my jetta to Al's. They "fixed" the brakes. The very next day I couldn't drive my car. It wasn't accelerating, the brake light was on the dashboard and the car was smoking. I had to have it towed back to Al's in the middle of the night. The triple A guy who picked up my car said that the brakes hadn't been bled properly. I told Al's this the next day and they said it had nothing to do with that and made me pay another $90 to get my rotors turned. A week after all this my car did the same thing AGAIN! (not accelerating, car is smoking and brakes were stuck). I paid $221 to have my brakes bled at another auto center. The most expensive brake job I've ever had in my life. I don't recommend this place at all. read more

This place is amazing. They have a particular mechanic named George who knows everything about cars. On the tire area I bought two very good used tires and saved a lot of money. Definately the place to go to if your in the area or even if your not around its worth the drive to go to these guys. Long story short my wife experienced a flat tire and drove of the main exit on the 210 and asked a few tire shops and was treated poorly. first place she stop at tries selling her 4 new tires SERIOUSLY she had one tire issue . keep in mind her perilli tires are only a few months old. So immediately was told that all tires must be changed at a cost of 876.00. Next place also tried telling her they recommend trading in her tired and upgrading to Sunny tires at a cost of 600.00. She immediate called me and I yelped tired locations and discovered Al's tired shop figured 3rd time is a charm and indeed it was not only was the guy I believe the owner extremely comforting he told her to wait inside and offered her a bottled water (it was about 95 degrees out) and told her that s simple patch would resolve her issue, and he suggested that in the near future to replace the single tire just for safe being. Being a women dealing with this type of issue he was respectful and charge her I believe 25 dollars. Never thought this would happend and I'm glad Al's shop was near by. Last month I flew in from New York to attend my uncles funeral in Laverne. I borrowed my cousins Porsche 911 turbo convertible. While I was on the 210 freeway a Toyota Tundra ran me off the road and I caught 2 flat tires. I was fortunate enough to be able to get off the freeway and find AL's Tire shop. I was already late to the funeral. The manager Chris was a godsend. He let me borrow his range rover so I can make it to the funeral while they changed my tires. I highly recommend this place to everyone. They are all a very friendly staff and professionals at what they do. read more

This place is awesome. I came at a good time because a bunch of people started to come in after me. I was helped immediately, and in and out within 30 minutes. I needed a new (used) tire, and they happened to find a screw stuck in another tire, so they patched that for me too. Super fair pricing - and that's always something I worry about being a woman. I asked them about how my other tires were doing (in case now was a good time to replace all of them), and the guy checked all my tires and told me I didn't really need to. My brakes went out on my car and I called around to about 10 different shops for the best deal possible. I needed new break pads and routers and Al's was able to give me an estimate over the phone which was 100$ less than all the other shops I called. At first, they tried to salvage my routers so I wouldn't have to spend extra for new ones. They were unable to save them and he showed be exactly why. The customer service was amazing and the mechanic was honest. After my car was fixed, they held true to their word and charged me exactly what they said over the phone. We took two our cars here - a Jeep Wrangler and a Honda Civic, all new tires for both. They had the work completed in about an hour. Both guys we met with, were very nice, and never stopped moving. Seriously, when there was a lull in in the cars coming in, Guillermo would sweep up, put old tires away, and clean up. The prices were better than any of the other places around. They even cleaned up the blue dye off of the white writing...now the tires are way cleaner than our car! Very happy, highly recommend. read more

I called this place looking for an ESTIMATE on tires both men on the phone were not helpful! I did not have the size of the tires most places can look it up for me. I told him I'm looking for 4 tires for my car witch is a scion.. He kept saying rims! I never asked for rims.. Then he said hold on spoke to another guy in Spanish... Which I speak Spanish and he was like she needs to bring it in (bring all the way for you to give me an insane price?)... Already I was like uhhhhh.... I said an estimate it's not rocket science you do this daily it's your job you should be able to answer a simple question. Anyway the OTHER guy got on the phone and he said rims I said I'm not looking for rims I told the other man 4 tires... He said well it's like 100-110 dollars per tire!!... For a SCION??? I've never paid that for my tires and I have had my car for 10 years.. I said that's insane you guys are overcharging.. Then he said well ok bye.. Lol GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE GUYS! So very helpful 1 star for your outstanding service! Guess you don't want my money.. Sadly you act as if you don't care about my business but yet I would be the one paying your check..
