I adore this farmers market! I have been coming here every weekend for the past month for fresh and…read morequality produce. I recently picked up hummus and a crochet accessory for lighters or lip gloss from one of the vendors (as shown in photos) & I loved it. The pupusa vendor here is also good! I enjoyed a matcha latte here from East Blue Coffee. Would recommend! Magia de Terria often has samples and I love them, would recommend this tea business!

I noticed a peanut stand with a roasting oven selling $6 per bag of freshly roasted peanuts and most of food vendors here are selling Mexican food. [Parking]: Free parking and I didn't have any issues finding a spot to park at 12:30 PM. [Atmosphere]: You can hear lively Latino-theme music playing in the background. Feel free to explore the park lake and I also noticed a COVID vaccination tent right next to the farmers market. On certain days the city government would host additional local community events adjacent to the market. Yes it is not the biggest farmers market, but overall good vibe here. P.S. - The city government was giving out a box of emergency food (canned and dry food) for free and I took one back home.

This is such an awesome perk to the farmer's market. Cool vendors with fun quirky items from stain glass, jewelry to artwork.

Local gem I've bookmarked for awhile, but finally was in the area to grab it. Super friendly lady who understands partial English if don't know Vietnamese. Visiting during traffic hours can be tough to get in and out. Cornered between 2 very busy streets with driveways into the plaza off both streets. Located on bottom floor in the plaza with waffle studio as corner landmark. Plenty of parking. I'm just guessing sizes...$6 large with ice, $7 extra large with ice. $7 small with no ice, $14 extra large with no ice. - $7 Sugarcane, and kumquat is sweet because of the sugarcane. It's the one of the most popular drinks. So loved it. If I have to order it for myself, I'll ask for less sugarcane cause I'm more sensitive to it. - $7 Pennywort and young coconut comes with small coconut shreds to snack on after AND no sweetener. Most places actually add too much sweetener. I'll probably ask for a tiny amount of sugarcane next time in this to balance the taste out. Place is full of goodies: - Drink fruits to some actually tropical fruits sold here are soursop (I got 2 to take home), jackfruit, kumquat, pennywort, passion fruit, sapodilla, durian, mango and more. - Fridges are stocked with goodies. They were ready to eat, cut Papaya $10, jackfruit $10, mango $5-$10, and durian. $10 for larger box size. Theres also passion fruit in a cup. Because I have a dairy allergy, lady was so nice to offer to make any smoothie without dairy. Wonder what she'll do, but happy to try next time. Or maybe I mis-heard her wrong? Guess I'll know next visit.

One of the better durian smoothies in LA. I wish they used more durian flesh/meat though…read more If you're ordering sugar cane, call ahead as it takes about 5-10 mins to make it. More, if you have a large order. Large cup without ice is $16 while large cup with ice is $8. On the pricier side but it tastes fresh & good so it's worth it for me.

Sometimes, all you need is a platter full of fresh fruit…read more While at work, a co-worker offered me some mango and pineapple with lemon and chile powder. Man! Was it delicious!! The mango was slightly firm, making it a great texture to bite and perfect to eat with a fork. The pineapple was sweet and didn't have any of the tough core to fight with. A few days later, I needed more. Daniel's fruit cart is right on the corner of Gage and Cesar Chavez. It was an overcast afternoon so there wasn't a line. I had about 4 orders to get in a short amount of time. Daniel was cool as the cucumbers he was slicing and I was able to get back to work before my break was over. I ordered two bags of cucumbers and watermelon with lemon and tajin. Both the cucumber and watermelon were ripe, fresh and very tasty. I also ordered a to go container (regular size, not the mini) of mango and pineapple and another of mango, pineapple, jicama and coconut. He even sells the fresh coconut juice from when he opens the coconuts! All the fruit was just as fresh as the cucumbers & watermelon and were very tasty. I learned that Daniel buys his produce from DTLA and samples everything he buys before he purchases to get the best tasting fruits and vegetables. What a find! I'll be a customer for life. Also, his prices are fantastic. $3 for the bag of cucumbers and watermelon and $6 for the huge to go container of the mixed fruits. He offers a large selection of fruit, aguas and tostilocos, available for single servings or larger sizes for parties.
