Used to be a regular, went today for breakfast sat outside only one table opened, what I didn't know is that one table was for the sushi place next store, yes the only have one table right next to the cafe tables, sat there for 15min two waitresses came out to serve food and coffee to other guest didn't even acknowledge we were there, then was told can't sit at that table are you kidding me one table the sushi place next store had one table of two right next to your restaurant and you have me waiting 15 min and then was told and was told not by the two worthless waitresses that turned there head and ignored us. This was our second visit to the AM Cafe in NSB. The cafe is a cute little diner with a lot to offer for breakfast. Not sure how they make the pancakes, but they are the best I have had. Our server was friendly and efficient. AM Cafe is a great little cafe to get a quick and tasty breakfast. We will definitely return. read more

Our friend goes here every morning at 6:00 to meet with other men for breakfast! He said it is excellent .Now they came up with this afternoon delight on every 17 th of the month from 2-7 ( normally close at 2pm.) lean corned beef and cabbage,potatoes,carrots and corn bread or dinner roll( very reasonable). It's Easter Sunday. Lots of places are closed for the holiday We stopped at the AM cafe to fill up on coffee, grab a breakfast sandwich, and grab a sandwich for lunch to sustain us through our trip back to the New York area after a lovely season in Florida. It's now 9pm and we just finished the last of our travel provisions provided by AM Cafe. Wow! What an unexpected surprise. We've never been there before. We didn't look it up on any social media platforms. We just stopped because it was open on a holiday and we saw a crowd waiting outside for a table which we thought was a good sign. Everything we ordered was amazing. The sausage, egg and cheese sandwich on a biscuit had fluffy scrambled eggs, what I would swear to be homemade sausage, along with perfectly melted cheese on a tender biscuit. I particularly appreciated the fact that the biscuit wasn't too salty and the protein on the sandwich was incredibly abundant. For lunch we ordered "the Rachelle" mine had coleslaw on the side. My husband had potato salad. The sandwiches were enormous. As it turns out, we ate one for lunch and the other for dinner. The coleslaw was perfect. Sweet, thin shreds of cabbage in a lovely dressing that was not overpowered in anyway by onions. The potato salad was sprinkled with freshly crumbled bacon pieces. It was truly amazing. What a great way to end our trip to Florida this year. Our waitress was wonderful. She rinsed out our travel coffee cups, and filled them to the brim while she put our order in. Before we were about to leave, she asked us if we wanted a refill for the road. It's a little things like that that make a big difference before a 17 Hour drive Next year we won't wait until we are on our way of the state of Florida before we stop in! read more

Wow! A friend and I went to this cafe on Sunday morning for breakfast. The staff and the food was great! I ordered the AM slam which came with pancakes, eggs, and bacon. I ate every last bite! Our waitress Lily was the best!! She was extremely friendly and professional. The entire staff was great and you can tell how much they loved working as a team. Horrible Food!! My food came out cold, except the eggs;( The hash browns were cold, second order was burnt, half the size and cold. I said sub French toast and she said she would charge me, then I got no toast and a cold soggy piece of French bread. When I told the server she said ohh I'm sorry. Not can I get you something else. Then we didn't see her for 10 min, brought the check put down and never saw again. We just wanted a hot meal, didn't get and paid $35. Will never be back!! So frustrating. First of all they have a five for five menu Sunrise special 6-8am. Five dollars for five full breakfast meals. Then their regular menu is extensive. AM cafe is their "go to" for breakfast, and we agree with that choice. Redneck Benedict is a favorite, but bisquits-and-gravy is also very good. Actually, everything is good.
