It is so fun to be able to explore different coffees from different roasters every month. The real kicker though is that they can make you a super high quality brew, however you want it. Best cappuccino I've had in San José, hands down. Excellent service too, staff seems genuinely happy to be there and eager to answer any questions. As an SJSU student this place is a MUST and a place that i have brought many friends to and have recommended. The matcha is one of the best ones i have had in san jose (as someone who drinks a lot of matcha at cafes). It is cermimonial grade made in its traditional way with a bamboo whisk and you can taste the difference. The pastries are to die for and definitely worth the price! A personal favorite is the pistachio berry croissant but gets sold out towards the evening. The workers are very nice, patient, and and friendly. It is generally the same group of workers there every time you go. The area is near SJSU so you see many students walk by but also some homeless people. Thankfully they don't come near the cafe but can be something you can keep in mind if you decide to sit outdoors. read more

Went here with a friend recently and we got iced toasted marshmallow lattes with oat milk and a ham and cheese croissant. The lattes were lacking in flavor I tasted the oatmeal more than anything. The croissant was very large but it had A LOT of sesame seeds. There is a really nice out door patio and the service was really fast and friendly. read more

Tasty coffee with lovely people: This past week I was kind of picky and asked that my iced mocha be not too sweet. The guy who made my drink made sure to tell me that he added 15 grams of chocolate so that if I like it or not, next time, adjustments can be made. It was delicious! 15 grams it is. I've know Michael for years now. He is an amazing barista and a great all around guy (he married my favorite cousin, so I had some high standards for him haha) If you're looking for someone who will get your order right and remember just the way you like it, he's your guy. 2 things that really stood out to me- the parking area is huge for this area of SJ, free and easy access both from and to 280 and SJSU. Secondly the coffee and pastries are absolutely delicious. I've had many of Michael's pastries from his previous employment and they are phenomenal, on the level of a Alexander's Pâtisserie or Manresa Bread- they are made with love and care to match and unlike what you can get elsewhere. Came back after a couple months and man has this place grown. The aesthetic of the cafe is so damn tasteful. As for their coffee we got a single origin Ethiopian and its flavor was so much better than any other single origin Ethiopian I have had. I can say without a doubt the barista has nailed their dial and that espresso flavor is so god damn busting. It wasnt super bright nor citrusy, just really smooth and flavorful. On top of that Michael was so fast and efficient with the rush he had. Such an amazing place and can not recommend enough! read more

We came across this place today and we really wanted some coffee. Oh my goodness the baristas are sooo nice and smiling and patient. Their coffee menu is small hut they had exactly what we wanted. Machiato and cortado, it was amazing . I also had the cardamon croissant, it has a subtle taste and not too sweet. It is by far the best coffee i have had and we are big coffee drinkers. The service here has always been a 10/10 experience every time I have visited them! I got their iced matcha latte today and to be honest, it's more on the bland side, but I loved it. As a student, their matcha latte definitely gave me more than enough energy to push through a day after an all nighter. Came to this shop a couple of months back and we keep coming back because the staff are so nice and it's only 3 of them! They are located next to the laundromat and down the way from House of Bagels. They have a couple pastry options, but if you want more of a fulfilling breakfast then head over to House of Bagels and walk back for a Cubano. Iced or hot, this drink is perfect! Some times I wanna add an extra shot, but most of the time it's not needed. Street parking is available in the morning, but not sure how much is available later in the day. They are relatively new to the area so be on the lookout for new menu items because there is so much room for growth, I'm really excited to see them stick around! read more

Our first time in the area. We had a group of 12 peoples and we all loved the coffee and the shop. The surrounding location is so relax like most campus area. The service here is always amazing! The owner and staff are very nice. I love to come here before or in between my classes, and I'm glad to see a new coffee spot opened on this side of campus. Highly recommend the toasted marshmallow it's my favorite and I've never had a drink like it before. You really could pick anything on the menu and its always amazing. It's a chill and quiet spot, so it's nice to sit down and enjoy a drink or do some work (the Wi-Fi is great)! They also offer student/staff discounts with an ID. It's my last year at SJSU so I'm going to make sure to go as often as I can. read more

i appreciate the fact that they get their pastries from neighbor bakehouse in sf. that alone makes me want to stop by. their coffee is really pleasant. i'll admit i'm not a pure coffee drinker and i like my drinks on the sweeter side, but i appreciate how their flavored lattes are just the right amount of sweet. you can taste more coffee than sugar, which is hard to find these days. the staff is really friendly, and the owner (i think? - or the manager) really seems to care a lot. leaving them a review for more visibility. i only stop by once every two or three weeks and wish i could stop by more often, but here's a review for some added support. keep up the great work AM Craft crew :) read more

Great and tasty coffee and pastry selection. Everything is tasty, clean and simple. Service is 1000%. And the environment and ambiance is calming. I enjoy being there when I can be since I don't live too close. Parking behind the laundromat is allowed (it says Subway and Laundry only, but it does include the shop) so that's great given it being downtown. read more

As a tea connoisseur their Jasmine tea is by far the best I have tried at a conventional shop. The owner also shared with me they make their own Chai, and it is absolutely excellent both hot and cold. My third review at this coffee shop must be a testament to how much I enjoy the products here. I have recommended this shop to many of my fellow baristas and avid coffee goers as there hasn't been a single time we've been disappointed. If you like coffee, this is a no brainer. Beans here are cycled through damn near daily meaning each day you can try a different espresso which makes each experience new and helps you detach from your mundane work days. Its rare to find a coffee shop like this especially in the South Bay. The small menu might not be for those who are used to Starbucks, but the owners make up for it through innovative drinks as well as catering to those who really like their damn coffee. read more

this place is my favorite - good drinks and very chill to hang out at. i get oat milk lattes and they are delicious! the coffee is thick and sweet and not acidic tasting. and in the matcha you can taste the matcha just enough. the boba also tastes fresh, it's nice and soft. in general this is one of the only places in town that doesnt oversweeten while still having worthwhile flavors. plus there is space inside and outside to enjoy. read more
